Someone talk me down - new cough

I’ve had a tickly/ scratchy feeling in the back of my throat for a day or two. Tonight it’s developed into a horrid constant dry cough. I otherwise feel fine and don’t have a temperature or anything. I’m freaking myself about coronavirus. DH thinks I’m being daft so I can’t talk to him.

OP I hope you are improving now, what a frightening time. Good that you are getting the care you need.

That sounds horrible. Try not to panic though, although I know that's easier said than done: you're in the best place right now and getting oxygen which will help. You can do this
