Can you think of any?
Mine are mainly to do with climate change and reducing our carbon foot print.
So fewer going on cruises and flying would be great for the planet.
Less reliance of far eastern goods would also be great.

Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe has been released from jail for 2 weeks due to Coronavirus outbreak in Iran

In a statement released by her family, Zaghari-Ratcliffe said: “I am so happy to be out. Even with the ankle tag, I am so happy. Being out is so much better than being in – if you knew what hell this place is. It is mental. Let us hope it will be the beginning of coming home

“My thinking is that they want to keep me, but outside of prison until they sort out this thing. But to be honest, I just want to go home. I think they are showing a good gesture, as they are hoping to strike a deal. So they want to keep me out. If the deal won’t happen, then they will drag me back in. But if it does, then they will let me go from here.”

Sorting the wheat from the chaff world leader wise and with employers. True intentions and priorities will be exposed. Those of us who are still in the dark will see that they don't really put
their people first. Hopefully we will all demand a more compassionate system.

Good hand hygiene will be more entrenched and less other bugs going around in future.

Flexible working might be more commonplace and roads less busy.

More creative cooking with tins of spam?

People who are well of and conveniently fail to acknowledge social issues in this country will finally see how narrow minded they are when these problems finally land at their door.

The environment
Not having to travel so much with work
Spending more time with immediate family
Spending less money

Being more appreciative of food, friends, schools and hospitals. There is a lot of moaning about our head teacher on Whatsapp at the moment and I can’t help feeling that parents may have a bit of a swerve in their thinking by Sept.

Just saw that Eastenders has suspended filming.

Good news for TV schedules and for the national mood I feel!

1981m · 18/03/2020 13:56

We are saving so much money. Have managed to suspend my gym membership, cancelled meals out and got a refund on kids club.

The roads are practically empty when I drive my kids to school.

KenDodd · 18/03/2020 17:47

@1981m

Please, please don't cancel paying for stuff like kids clubs if you can still afford it get takeaway meals from the restaurants you usually use if possible. Even if you are not using the services. If you keep paying for stuff (assuming your income stays the same) you are doing a little bit to minimise the economic damage of this. Every exercise class/kids club/cleaner etc you cancel might be somebody who really, really needs that money not getting paid.
