I just checked and I can get RT. Even the video works, but not very well.

Just now they have a program on about Ukrainian Nazis, and WW2 concentrations camps. About how Ukrainian Nazis killed so many Russians etc. But wait.. Ukrainians are actually Russian, but the Nazi Ukrainians were not ? That seems to be the gist.

If looking at autocratic regimes based on oil isn't that helpful then looking at the most oppressive Islamic state in the world isn't that helpful either. Afghanistan is the exception, not the norm. Look at images of Tehran before this shit show happened. Women were walking around quite happily without their hair covered. Some were but that must have been a personal choice if it wasn't being enforced on the others. That is a logical argument. I'm sorry but I don't agree that it is logical that freer people are on average happier. What does freer mean. People have freedom in Jordan or Oman neither of which are democracies and the average person is perfectly happy.

I think it's called activism.

I do not have access to AI, and that poster knows that. I said I had no idea what " semi official media" is, and a poster looked it up and posted to the board. I would say that is pretty helpful to all. Helps endure we are all on the same page re what it means. If anyone disagrees with what the AI said, then they can say so and discuss. As is the norm.

The purpose of activism is usually to change things. I doubt arguing with people online whom you consider lesser than you does anything except make the person doing it feel smug.

Probably because I agree with her that people cheering for bombs destroying peoples countries turning them into refugees are dumbfucks. Saying being a dick is calling her a dick. It's a personal attack out of the blue.

You could at least explain where you are coming from. Why you find that post so troubling that it spurs you into activism.

As an example. I once used the word "gammon" on a Reform thread. I was pulled up, posters explained why they found it offensive, and now I no longer post the word "gammon". Except for just now of course.
