The fact that you think what's happening to protesters in Iran justifies the consequences of this war for everyone else is worrying. You keep turning up on these threads posting the same thing:
Iran can't have a nuclear weapon
What about women's rights
The Iranian government brutally cracks down on protesters
we know
What's happening now is making the situation worse. The new Ayatollah is more hardline, I doubt that will be good for women. We double crossed them in negotiations, more than once, so they will now see a nuclear weapon as the only way to stop this happening again. Russia and China will play a central role in organising a new security architecture for the ME. The SofH is effectively closed, the disruption to global trade will lead to global economic collapse, job losses, famine and god knows what else. Many people who are nowhere near the region are likely going to die. And we have the risk of a possible nuclear exchange.
Even Macron has acknowledged that military action is counterproductive; he pointed to the failures in Libya, Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan to explain why he did not think Iran will turn out better.
How much death, destruction and chaos do you think is justified to try to bring about fucking regime change! Sometimes maximum force is not the solution. They were negotiating, we should have stuck with that.
