Trump threatens to 'massively blow up' major Iranian gas field

Donald Trump has just issued a long Truth Social post about an Israeli attack on the South Pars gas field in Iran on Wednesday night.

In retaliation for that strike, Iran attacked Qatar's Ras Laffan - an industrial area that contains the world's biggest liquefied natural gas (LNG) processing facility.

In his strongly-worded post, Trump says the US "knew nothing" of Israel's strike, and threatens an escalation if Iran attacks Qatar again.

"Out of anger for what has taken place in the Middle East", Israel "violently lashed out", Trump writes.

He goes on: "The United States knew nothing about this particular attack, and the country of Qatar was in no way, shape, or form, involved with it, nor did it have any idea that it was going to happen."

But Iran didn't know this, Trump writes, and that its retaliatory attacks on Qatar's Ras Laffan were made "unjustifiably and unfairly".

Trump writes - in capitals - that Israel will not attack Iran's South Pars gas field again, "unless Iran unwisely decides to attack" another innocent nation, which in this case was Qatar.

It Iran does strike Qatar again, Trump threatens that the US will "will massively blow up the entirety of the South Pars Gas Field at an amount of strength and power that Iran has never seen or witnessed before".

He adds that he doesn't want to authorise "this level of violence and destruction because of the long term implications" for Iran, "but if Qatar's LNG is again attacked, I will not hesitate to do so."

Its very naive to think Trump had a plan in the first place,he thought he could just bomb Iran out of existence without any thought of the consequences for the Middle East and the world economy.Considering he cant remember what he had for breakfast how is any plan going to work..

We are up to two weeks now, are we? Looking better by the speech. And Trump soeaks a lot!
The whole world has lost. A lot! There are, certainly, no winners.
But, Trump will have to face the consequences of this. Alongside Israel and Netanyahu.
And Iran needs to allow commercial traffic freely through the Strait. Like now now.
I believe they still had exchanges between Iran and Israel, and something going on in Iraq (what a surprise!).

There is a lot to clarify in the world these days:
The meaning of international energy and food supplies security- play with that and you will be crashed, rules will no longer apply. Nevermind the size of your army and ego. Hungry people are not easy to negotiate with...
The meaning of borders and sovereignity- stay within your damn borders! The internationally recognised ones.
The meaning of compromise- or else. Trump has shown us that if you ignore all rules, you get something in return ( see the tariffs manouvers). Well, the world can play that game too, particularly if they coordinate together.

I would add that no far right party can never ever rule any country. Neither the far left. It does not work. It always leads to major major disasters.

Or bought back if you short a position.

Plent of youtube commentators and traders saying this. Very high, very successful trades. Which are being investigated.

The people who actually own farms, produce food, goods, employ folk and pay taxes and are productive along with normal citizens are fucked.

The mega rich, share buying, inside trading, Elite win.

This transaction was really curious. There was a single very large transaction 12 minutes before Trump's speech.

If this was insider trading then it was done in an incredibly stupid way, bringing attention to themselves. If it was insider trading then the smarter option would have been to break it up into smaller transactions spread across the 12 minutes remaining.

Alternatively if it wasn't insider trading then it was traded in a seemingly stupid way that would have shifted the price. They would have got a more favourable execution price if they broke it up into a series of smaller transactions spread across the 12 minutes.

But in any event it will be fairly easy to investigate and discover who made the trade and in who's behalf.

The investigation will clarify indeed. But there is plenty of noise on that front.
Some big trades and quite a few smaller ones are being mentioned as suspicious. Or really well executed savvy traders. We shall see.

Maybe Trump Jnr did it.
