Conflict in the Middle East

50 Jewish children kicked off plane, female supervisor allegedly beaten to the ground and handcuffed!

Another shocking act of global antisemitism.

50 French Jewish kids aged 10-15 apparently attended a summer camp in Spain.

On the flight back to France, before takeoff while plane still on tarmac, they were accused of being rowdy and singing ‘Death to Arabs’ in Hebrew (no evidence they were saying that). Police were called, they were told to get off and their 21 year old female supervisor ended up being beaten to the ground and forcibly handcuffed.

According to witnesses on the plane, the children stopped singing when asked and were well behaved, and nothing was amiss. The crew made a tannoy announcement that there were security concerns and police entered the plane and told the kids to get off. The female supervisor was ordered to make the kids hand over their phones so footage of them being removed from the plane could be deleted and she was beaten to the ground and handcuffed when she refused. The Captain allegedly said Israel was a terrorist state.

She later had to sign an NDA to be released.

The Captain has been identified as being a flying instructor for two of the 9/11 plane hijackers.

WTAF!

Your confidence in randoms on twitter is really something. I suggest you get your information from news or medical sources rather than X and insta.

Again, did you bother to watch the video?

It was an address to the European Parliament.

Why bother to debate when you’re not interested in debating?

What is wrong with a group of children singing songs in another language?
If it was overly rowdy I would expect them to be told to be quiet but it’s not usually regarded as a problem.

As I said earlier, if it was 50 bog standard British kids singing in an airport, they'd either be shut up pretty quickly or not allowed to board.

Time and place. And given they'd been hiding their religious identity (told by the adults to hide it), to then out themselves by singing in Hebrew seems a bit daft.

Why listen to that particular Gazan but not the Gazans who, along with their families are starving today?

Absolutely disgusting!

The public sector, in this country, have seemed more than willing to risk their jobs. I'm reminded of the teacher, not longer after 7/10, holding an antisemitic placard. Then you've got (some) of the medical profession, not giving two hoots about intimidating jewish patients, when donning their free Palestine badges. Good job from Streeting, putting a stop to that unprofessional bias. There are some naive posts on here.

Can you not see that these two examples are not the same?

A teacher holding a placard is not the same as airline crew opting to delay departure and call the police. If they did this unnecessarily they would absolutely face consequences and probably lose their jobs.

WhatMothersDo22 · 26/07/2025 17:41

If I was being cynical, I would say this is yet another thread to distract away from the real news — the images of starving babies being deliberately murdered which are (rightly and finally) in the news this week.

Did you know Israel has killed the equivalent of a classroom of children in Gaza for the past 600 days +. That’s a lot dead children. (Source Save the Children).

There is no place for anti semitism or violence in the world, but the blame for any incidents at the moment lies squarely at the door of the Israeli government who are making their own people and by extension Jewish people, less safe by carrying out these heinous atrocities in Gaza and the West Bank.

Ah, then I misread the citing of reason for losing the airline job. Thank you.

Well there it is, very clear, anyone can abuse, attack, and discriminate, even murder (that’s what’s happened) Jewish people all over the world because Israel are carrying out a war against a barbaric Islamist fundamentalist terrorist government which they didn’t even start!

I wonder if the same would have been used as a disgusting justification for attacks/discrimination on Muslims all around the world after Oct 7th, because surely that would have been unsurprising and solely Hamas’s fault.

What a sick post.

It happened and it is newsworthy so why do you think it’s being used to distract from ‘news’ we’ve heard every few months for almost two years?

So you're saying current antisemitism is the fault of Israel. I know the country gets blamed for the whole conflict, but you're out of order.

But they’re not conflating being Jewish with being Israeli so aren’t being anti-Semitic 🙄

TooBigForMyBoots · 26/07/2025 16:55

What an absolutely disgusting thing to say.Angry

Away and educate yourself on starvation in adults and children. Adults can survive much longer without food than children. Children's immature immune systems mean they are more susceptible to illness which exacerbates the starvation.

You'd have to have very sick ideas about Palestinians and Muslims to believe they'd deliberately starve their children.
AngryAngryAngry

Well, sorry to tell you this, it’s actual fact that in the past they have sent their children into Israel with bombs strapped to them to blow up civilians. They even got paid for it. And yes, I know terrorists who are not Palestinian or Muslim have also done this, but I’m taking specifically about what happened in Israel in the past 30 years or so.
I also want to say that you’re looking at this with western eyes, not Middle Eastern. Cultures and society function differently all over the world, sadly.

Lolapusht · 26/07/2025 18:20

No. It’s the fault of any criticism of Israel being deemed antisemitic. It deliberately conflates the two and that results in Jews and Israelis seen as one and the same.

Jews. Israelis. Hindus. Christians. Grouping an entire people together negatively is called racism. There’s never a justification. No matter how hard you try to make one.

At least they aren't hiding their victim blaming, I suppose. I take it we can now tell all victims of racism, that their fellow countrymen are to blame. Yes, you're also right about conflating Jews with Israel, in its entirety.

No, the post clearly stated that Israel are bringing hate on Jews. There is a specific word for that hate.

Correction: Israel, apparently are making Jews less safe.

Absolutely this.

mugglewump · 26/07/2025 18:35

I've just looked this up on France24. I've added a link, but the specific paragraph below says: in a press release on Thursday, the Spanish Company (Vueling) blamed the adolescents, accusing them of 'inappropriate behaviour' and ' a strongly confrontational attitude' which put the flight in danger.

It is not the first time people have been pulled off a flight for inapprorpriate behaviour which could jepodise the safety passage of the flight. If it is true that there was only one inexperienced staff member on board to accompany 50 children, that is not acceptable in itself. In my view, Club Kineret (the operator) has quite a lot to answer for here.

Dans un communiqué publié jeudi, la compagnie espagnole a imputé cet incident aux adolescents, accusés d'avoir eu un "comportement inapproprié" et "une attitude fortement conflictuelle, mettant en péril le bon déroulement du vol".

marmaladeandpeanutbutter · 26/07/2025 18:36

It is definitely not true that any criticism of Israel is antisemitic. Obviously there are those who would like to say it is. Nobody is above criticism.

So you are suggesting this is something all Palestinians do or is it extremists? Because your post suggests it is a common trait of Palestinians to send their kids into Israel strapped with suicide bombs. You are conflating all Palestinians with extremist behaviour

In your own words

Were it French Muslim children it’s unlikely that they would be wearing hijabs on a flight, assuming the summer camp were considered educational. Happy to stand corrected but it was my understanding that any outward display of religious allegiance is banned in educational and sporting settings in France?
