The Israeli army are using aid centres as target practice.

The Israeli government is proposing building a 'refugee' centre in Rafah with an extra special feature - no one is allowed to leave.

Some posters just can’t keep away from propaganda

Just condoms 🤣

And even if there were just condoms (which is Israeli propaganda) there was a whole thread here berating Palestinians for having babies in a war zone!

Really can't win no matter what happens!

That’s exactly what Israel think

as an aside
People should check out the aerials of how much land Theyve stolen in Gaza !!!!
absolutely shocking !!

Israel have taken 58% of Gaza. They are doing exactly what they said they would do 'concentrate' the population into small areas. It's shocking. Rafah is gone, an ancient city with over 3000 years of history bulldozed without outcry. Millenia of history gone. It's incredibly sad what Israel have been allowed to do.

It fills me with sadness and disgust.

The same bulldozers that have been supplied to Israel for decades in an ongoing profitable trade agreement, with more planned for 2027. Wanton destruction and killing that seems to be planned in advance.

Me too. It's just over 2 years ago since #alleyesonrafah and now nothing remains. Nobody who had the power to do anything listened, people begged and were ignored. It's all just such a waste.

TreesandGreen · 22/05/2026 06:55

I can't believe that there are still people who support Israel at this point.
Evidence in front of their eyes. I understand in the past, as the media is so biased, and it wasn't always so easy to find the truth. But now we can all see it, right before our eyes. I can't get my head around the pro-Israel crowd at this point 🤦‍♀️

Healthcare under attack in Lebanon: MSF condemns the killing of paramedics by Israeli forces

ATTACKS ON MEDICAL CARE
HEALTHCARE UNDER ATTACK IN LEBANON: MSF CONDEMNS THE KILLING OF PARAMEDICS BY ISRAEL

Press Release14 May 2026

MSF strongly condemns Israeli forces’ attacks against paramedics in Lebanon and reiterates our call for the protection of medical and rescue personnel.

On 12 May, a drone attack injured one paramedic and killed another two as they were attempting to assist an injured person in Nabatiyeh.

We call for an immediate end to the continuous attacks on medical and rescue personnel, facilities and offices.

Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) strongly condemns Israeli forces’ attacks against paramedics in Lebanon, including the recent killing of two Lebanese Civil Defence workers in Nabatiyeh, and reiterates our urgent call for the protection of medical and rescue personnel.

On 12 May 2026, a drone strike hit three paramedics as they were attempting to assist an injured person who survived a previous attack. Two of them were killed on the spot and another was wounded. Paramedics from an ambulance that had departed from Najdeh Al-Shaabiyeh hospital to also aid the injured of the first attack witnessed the strike on their colleagues, transferred the injured paramedic to the hospital, and later had to return to the site to collect human remains from the scene.

“We are outraged over the killing of paramedics who were simply doing their job, taking huge risks to save lives. Attacks on healthcare are unacceptable and must not be normalised,” says Jeremy Ristord, MSF head of mission in Lebanon.

While scaling up support at Najdeh Al-Shaabiyeh hospital to respond to mass casualty incidents in the past months, MSF teams have also worked side by side with paramedics and frontline responders across Nabatiyeh governorate, including the Lebanese Civil Defence, sharing days and nights of emergency response as they bring patients to facilities, and supporting colleagues who continue working despite profound loss and fear.

The 12 May incident is part of an alarming pattern. Over recent weeks, MSF teams in Lebanon have been witnessing the consequences of airstrikes, drone strikes, and artillery fire, which are damaging hospitals, ambulances, and medical equipment, and killing or injuring civilians, health workers, and first responders.

Lebanese health authorities, media and other humanitarian organisations have also reported this kind of violence, including repeated attacks while paramedics are rescuing people.

We are outraged over the killing of paramedics who were simply doing their job, taking huge risks to save lives. Attacks on healthcare are unacceptable and must not be normalised.
JEREMY RISTORD, MSF HEAD OF MISSION IN LEBANON

In Nabatiyeh, and across southern Lebanon, rescue and medical teams are increasingly forced to delay or limit lifesaving interventions because of the fear of being targeted. Ambulance crews supported by MSF report spending only minutes at blast sites due to the risk of repeated strikes, avoiding the use of excavation equipment, and delaying evacuations, leaving some people trapped under rubble for hours or days.

MSF has treated patients whose conditions were critically worsened by these delays, including severe trauma cases who later died from their injuries.

In total, since MSF started supporting Najdeh Al-Shaabiyeh hospital at the beginning of March, 725 injured patients have been treated, and 232 arrived dead or died in hospital.

According to the World Health Organization, between 2 March and 12 May, 161 attacks against healthcare were recorded, resulting in 110 deaths and 252 injuries.
This included 15 attacks resulting in 12 deaths and 21 injuries that occurred after the start of the ceasefire on 17 April, that has not led to a cessation of hostilities and has not allowed displaced people to return home or people stranded in heavily-targeted areas to seek safety.

Healthcare workers, first responders, ambulances and medical facilities are protected under international humanitarian law. Their killing not only devastates families and colleagues, but further weakens already strained emergency response and healthcare systems.

MSF calls for an immediate end to the continuous attacks on medical and rescue personnel, facilities and offices, as well as on the violence that continuously places civilians and those trying to save their lives at risk.’

Attacking hospitals and medical workers has become normalised….
its against International law and never ever should be.
Remarkably little about this in our own U.K. press these days though

3 more medics killed. Since the start of the war a total of 123 medics killed. Just why?

Less medics less chance of saving lives

Also
Less chance of more volunteering to work in war torn countries
MSF have lost so many to Israel’s wars

And what will a ‘ceasefire’ truly mean if it is agreed? In Gaza 22 attacks on healthcare, since the ‘ceasefire’, 880 people killed, 2,600 injured. Aid is still withheld, including prosthetic limbs for 5000 amputees because they are deemed ‘dual purpose’. A prefab hospital providing essential aid sitting in Jordan for months while every day Gazans struggle under the most horrific living conditions.

Testimonies from women in Gaza by Olfa Al-Kurd, a field researcher for B T’selem:

Recently, I collected testimonies from women still living in Gaza for a report about Palestinian women under genocide.

It’s a reality in which basic living conditions are systematically destroyed and humanity is stolen. This is the prism through which to understand what is happening in the Gaza Strip: a comprehensive destruction of Palestinian society in which women are at the frontline of harm, but also at the forefront of survival.

Agree Ellen
Israel attacked a tented area today injuring 17 and killing a 6 yr old girl and a woman

An Israeli settler shot a man on his own land. The IDF didn’t even question yhe shooter they simply arrested the shot mans son

Israel are encroaching metre by metre on Gaza. Taking more and more land

This isn't a ceasefire

Israel is using The war with Iran to deflect from their actions in Gaza and Lebanon

This is outrageous and unjust.

The US special rapporteur who wrote the UN report on torture and genocide—Report of the Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Palestinian territories—Francesca Albanese, was also sanctioned by the US, although the US sanctions on her were later lifted.

Israel’s defence minister has said he is committed to the ethnic cleansing of Gaza through large-scale migration of Palestinians as part of Israel’s long-term plans for the territory.
Israel Katz said the government would implement a plan for large numbers of Palestinians to leave Gaza “at the right time and in the right manner”, in a statement on Wednesday marking the targeted killing of Mohammed Odeh, Hamas’s most recent military commander.
Pushing for mass departures violates Donald Trump’s ceasefire plan for Gaza, which Israel signed last year. The second point of the plan states: “Gaza will be redeveloped for the benefit of the people of Gaza, who have suffered more than enough.”
Israel’s government has promoted the prospect of Gaza without Palestinians since Trump suggested early last year that hundreds of thousands of people should leave to “clean out” the strip for reconstruction.
Last year Israel set up a bureau for “voluntary emigration” and eased travel restrictions for Palestinians who wanted to make a one-way journey out of the strip.
The forced transfer of civilian populations is a war crime and a crime against humanity. Israeli officials, including Katz, use ”

Well at least they are finally admitting it even thought they are dressing it up as a choice for Palestinians. You make somewhere uninhabitable and restrict the basics to live off, destroy social infrastructure, education facilities, medical facilities and so on, you take away any choice.

ethnic cleansing of Gaza through large-scale migration of Palestinians as part of Israel’s long-term plans for the territory.
This sentence is a complete contradiction. Ethnic cleansing and migration are two very different things. We need to keep using the former term to take away any doubt about what they are planning.

The Association for Civil Rights in Israel said last year: “Creating living conditions that do not allow for survival, freedom and dignity, and subjecting civilians to them until they say they want to leave is not a plan for ‘encouraging voluntary emigration’ but a plan for forced evacuation and expulsion.”
Complete agree

Katz said the mass departure of Palestinians from Gaza would go hand in hand with the exclusion of Hamas from power.
So Hamas lose power and Palestinians lose Gaza yeah that seems proportionate..

JadeHare · 28/05/2026 16:58

But remember, it’s still not a land grab.Just the right for Israel to defend itself.

From CNN just now:

During an interview at a conference in the occupied West Bank, Netanyahu said that Israel is “tightening” its grip on Hamas. “We are now in 60% of the territory of the Gaza Strip. We were at 50%, we moved to 60%,” he said. “My directive is to move to – take it step by step – first of all 70. Let’s start with that.” As Netanyahu spoke, the audience called for him to take over all of Gaza’s territory.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) issued maps to international aid groups in late-April which already showed the military already controlling approximately 64% of Gaza.
The seizure of more of Gaza would force approximately 2 million Palestinians into a shrinking fraction of the coastal enclave’s shattered territory.

Stirabout · 29/05/2026 12:34

Just picked up on Netanyahus speech on the land grab and move to take 70% of Gaza

Clearly Israel's ‘we have a right to defend ourselves’ is out in the open now as an excuse to steal and occupy land that is not theirs.

I do wonder if anyone around the negotiating table for Iran and Lebanons ceasefire can believe anything the US say as
They have not protected the ceasefire in Gaza from Israel’s onslaught.

From the Irish Examiner

‘ The Trump plan also said: “No one will be forced to leave Gaza, and those who wish to leave will be free to do so and free to return. We will encourage people to stay and offer them the opportunity to build a better Gaza.”
Muhammad Shehada, a visiting fellow at the European Council on Foreign Relations, said: “Netanyahu is now declaring the whole Trump deal, the framework for Gaza, to be null and void. That’s what it means in a nutshell. There’s no other way to spell it out.”

The UN briefing refers to an Israeli-backed anti-Hamas militia run by a Gaza warlord, Ashraf al-Mansi, saying it had advanced westwards from the yellow line around Jabalia last week.
Such militias have been increasingly active along the yellow line, apparently functioning as shock troops for the Israeli army, carrying out attacks on Hamas but also telling Palestinian residents near the yellow line to leave their homes.
Wael Nayef Abu al-Ajeen, a 26-year-old who lives to the east of Deir al-Balah in southern Gaza, said his family had been forced out by militiamen earlier this month.
“It was at around 1pm when armed men affiliated with the militias entered our area. They went to the homes of the Abu al-Ajeen family there and informed them that they had until 10pm to evacuate all the houses in the area,” Mr Ajeen said. “They instructed them to take whatever furniture and belongings they could carry and to empty the houses as much as possible. They also told them not to return until they were contacted and informed that it was permitted.
“As a result, everyone panicked, and people gradually began leaving and moving their furniture and whatever belongings they could carry until the area was almost completely emptied.”

Nasser Khdour, a researcher at the monitoring group the Armed Conflict Location and Event Data Project said: “We have seen that the militias are not only attacking Hamas, but also they are contributing to pushing the residents who are living close to their line, further to the west.
“We have seen killing, arresting and kidnapping of civilians living in these areas, and recently, there’s an increase also in the militias’ patrolling activities.”

A UN security council resolution passed in November delegated the monitoring of the ceasefire to a Trump-appointed Board of Peace, which named a Bulgarian UN veteran diplomat, Nickolay Mladenov, as “high representative in Gaza”.

Mr Mladenov was widely criticised for his report to the security council last week, which assigned primary blame for the failings of the ceasefire on Hamas, accusing it of refusing to disarm, without holding Israel accountable for its violations. Hamas has signalled it is ready to discuss disarmament once Israel has fulfilled its obligations under the first phase of the ceasefire, in particular by ceasing the bombardment of Gaza and withdrawing to the original yellow line.’

Thank you for that. Depressing to see that Hamas terrorists look like they are being replaced by ..... Terrorists. Ordinary Palestinians have no one in their corner no one they can trust and are just enduring relentless fear, terror and displacement. It feels very hopeless at the moment
