The Israeli army are using aid centres as target practice.

The Israeli government is proposing building a 'refugee' centre in Rafah with an extra special feature - no one is allowed to leave.

Killing of young siblings at Gaza water point shows seeking life’s essentials now a deadly peril

Karam al-Ghussain, 9, and Lulu, 10, were fetching water from a nearby distribution station when an Israeli strike hit it, and them

Just blatant terrorism. The flimsiest of excuses to murder and destroy as usual.

I see Germany has pulled its support for Israel in the ICJ case regarding genocide.

I see Germany has pulled its support for Israel in the ICJ case regarding genocide.

Yes just been reading about it.
It said it could not wade in without compromising its own ICJ case, filed by Nicaragua later in 2024, that alleges that Germany violated international law by supporting Israel in the Gaza war.

Will be interesting to see how all this progresses

Out of interest, how does the Israeli government treat its own Druze people in Israel, given they are so keen to defend Druze people in Syria?

marmaladeandpeanutbutter · 23/03/2026 08:23

I was disgusted by the West Bank attacks over the weekend, although no longer surprised.

They are well integrated into Israeli society and serve in the army.

This has to be rock bottom for the behavior of the IDF.
I am genuinely shocked.
Inexcusable.

Israel annexing more land in Lebanon. There are now over a million people displaced there and a worsening humanitarian crisis. This is in a country that already provides refuge to the highest number of refugees per capita in the world, with approximately 1.5 million Syrian refugees and 95,000 Palestinian refugees. Israel is very good at displacing populations but their own refugee stats for refugees they take in are pitiful to say the least.

Albanese’s report yesterday on the systematic torture, not only in the prison structure but as a ‘state doctrine’ across all aspects of life across the occupied territories, clearly outlines how Israel’s government is in breach of every moral and legal code. I’m sure the UK government will be ‘appalled’ while they continue to support this.

‘’In Gaza, the West Bank and East Jerusalem, Palestinians are subjected to a continuum of suffering,” Albanese said. “There is no refuge. No sanctuary. No safe place to exist.”

The report concludes that the systematic use of torture, combined with the wider campaign of destruction inflicted on Palestinians, forms an integral component of the ongoing genocide, inflicting severe bodily and mental harm on Palestinians as a group.

Netanyahu must be as happy as a pig in shit. The world (understandably) is talking about oil prices and the effects on their economy and meanwhile his acts are going under the radar. The spotlight off Israel was always a goal of theirs to annex without retribution.

ScrollingLeaves · 25/03/2026 19:27

Netanyahu and Putin both.

Excepts from a post by Btselem 2 hours ago:

Large Israeli forces entered the Silwan neighbourhood today to evict 11 Palestinians families from their homes.

Israel is expanding its ethnic cleansing in East Jerusalem, throwing Palestinian families into the streets. The eviction of 11 families marks the continuation of a massive displacement wave:
approximately 2,200 people in Silwan are facing an imminent threat of forced displacement. 150 families (15000 individuals) in al Bustan and 90 families (700 individuals) in Baten al Hawa.

This is the reality of systemic institutionalised violence

To think that this Israeli rampant unstopped theft, oppression, thuggery and murder is supported by us and the US.

Boolabus · 25/03/2026 21:30

Where are they expecting them to go? Not that they care 😔

Martymcfly24 · 25/03/2026 22:01

They don't care.

It's ethnic cleansing, sanctioned by the state and carried out by brutal thugs .

But Israelies are the ones living in fear of being wiped out....

I don't know if anyone's linked to this already -

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2026/mar/25/israels-death-penalty-bill-for-palestinian-prisoners-moves-to-final-vote

I'm so upset about it. I'm strongly opposed to capital punishment in general, for any reason, anywhere.
But, the far-right in Israel are proposing it for especially sinister reasons. We all know that many Palestinians arrested and charged with terrorism are just traumatised kids throwing stones. Thousands of innocent Palestinians have been held without any actual evidence against them. So, this seems like yet another way they're hoping to wipe the Palestinian people out.
Also, it seems the condemned prisoners wouldn't be allowed family or friends to visit them in captivity. Their human rights totally ignored.
Meanwhile the IOF and the mad settlers are committing acts of terror daily with total impunity.
It's absolutely sick, and medieval.

Israel’s death penalty bill for Palestinian prisoners moves to final vote

Legislation initiated by far-right Otzma Yehudit party drew mounting criticism from opponents and rights groups as it moved through the Knesset

It is extremely concerning and frightening to think a jurisdiction that has a fairly non existent burden of proof when it comes to Palestinians will now have the power to execute them.
