I'm an Orthodox Christian. It has just occurred to me that we might lose all of our sacred places in the Holy Land if this hostility by israel continues.

Did you know several members of kibbutz Nir Oz were peace activists who used to.volunteer for Road to Recovery, a charity that transported Palestinians in need of medical care? On 7 October Hamas invadrd the kibbutz, murdered and kidnapped many of them. Why would Israel evacuate their enemies to Israel?

I was just looking it up there I'm not sure if the school was hit but the convent was in Dec 2023 killing two.

The church was a shelter for all religions including 50 Muslim families with disabled children.

It is a terrible tragedy but one would wonder why there is STILL no pressure on Hamas to surrender and disarm, or at least stop hiding in civilian areas, as well as release the remaining 50 hostages to stop this war?

Hamas are masters of disguise: schools, hospitals, ambulances, energy supplies, roads, churches. Children trying to fetch water. Even mothers trying to get food. They can make themselves look like anything they want.

Back in the early days, Hamas disguised themselves as whole blocks of flats.😬 And children's playgrounds. So it's easy to see how the IDF would mistake one wee convent for a Hamas leader.🤷‍♀️
