@mollyfolk I know about the Queen and Martin McGuiness a strategic and forgiving gesture on both sides.

I was specifically talking about Palestine/Israel and correcting the record regarding terrorism in the region. As quite a few people kept repeating that Palestinians are "terrorists" and using this as an excuse for the atrocities being committed against them today.

There will be even less of a chance of peace in the future unless these historical acts are addressed and reconciled.

The modern phrase what is your takeaway from my comment might also be a translation of the poster’s intended meaning.

Because you are not brave enough to say what you really think, you took a quote made by someone else (not the Queen), used it out of context, and implied it was fact. Besmirching the good name of our late Queen.

I didn't forget to mention it. I was talking about the Queen, not the royal family as a whole.

Wrong. The first official visit was from Prince William, not Prince Charles, in 2018.
