A 2 minute long video clip and not a single habitable building. Are we supposed to believe that Hamas were in everyone of those buildings?

During tonight’s match between Ajax and Maccabi Tel Aviv, the Israeli supporters refused to hold a minute of silence for Valencia flood victims.
Why would they refuse to do that? What have Valencia flood victims done not to deserve their respect?

There is always thuggery and violence surrounding football matches so nothing new there. I hope the violent incident being reported did not leave anyone too badly injured and they make a speedy recovery

In the last week there have been several comments from common people but from more important ones across Israel about how happy they’re that Spaniards have died in the flooding in the last week because of the lack of support from Spain to Israel. So I guess these hooligans feel the same. They deserved to die so we are not going to respect the minute silence.

they also refuse to respect a minute silence and throw fireworks whilst the silence is going on and they get attacked after this is not because of their nationality , this is because they’re hooligans

No one deserves to be targeted because of their nationality or ethnicity that is clearly wrong and needs to be called out. I would assume the Dutch police will have cctv and arrest those involved.

Indeed. If British hooligans had behaved the same way as Israelis did yesterday im pretty sure they’d have been attacked the same way. Hooliganism is nothing new. Hence why I don’t support the idea of the antisemitism card.

I do hope those that shouted chants against Muslims get also identified and arrested though I really doubt this will happen

The king of the Netherlands, the police and other representatives of the Netherlands have all said it was anti semitic violence. But naturally you know better 😏.

Maybe look at the time of EasterIssland post. News was only breaking the King etc had not come out yet with statements. There was no information yet of it being a coordinated attack. She is also Spanish so no doubt upset with the disrespect shown during the minutes silence.

I don’t care about their disrespect to be honest. They’re hooligans. I don’t expect anything from hooligans from any country (not even the Spanish ones) they should all be banned and kicked out of any football matches.

Tonight on Channel 4 we saw a man in a ruined building in northern Gaza picking up handfuls of black, frayed, charred lumps, and placing them in a bag. They turned out to be the pieces of a Palestinian woman and her children recently exploded by Israel, and he was gathering them up as best he could so as to be able to give them a burial.

More to add to that category, Women and Children, which makes up 70% of the tens of thousands of Palestinians killed by the State of Israel.

I was listening to Irish radio this evening. There was a Palestinian woman living in Ireland on, she's been on a few times over the past few months. Her elderly mum is still in Gaza, has been granted a visa to come to Ireland but they can't get her out. She's in Northern Gaza so things are now desperate. I just don't understand how these people are not able to get out even with foreign governments trying to organise it.

It’s also predictable that many posters will ignore what some Israel citizens do. Haven’t seen much condemnation today about the hooligans behaviour. When Spanish hooligans behave like this I’m ashamed of them. I don’t try to justify it saying oh well they’re thugs. I see lack of condemnation and minimisation of what many of those that travelled to Amsterdam did yesterday. I wished all hooligans were banned from football matches. They bring nothing but trouble.

so help me understand, a few disrespectful hooligans are targeted by violence and suddenly it’s a pogrom, but when 43 thousand people are systematically exterminated it’s not genocide?
