The Zionists have fully committed to making sure it is NEVER on the table again. There is no going back to a state pre 7th October 2023.
Please excuse me breaking in to make a point about the description ‘Zionist’ as you have used it here, which I have learnt from other posters on this board can be a common misuse of the word.
If by “Zionist” you mean an Israeli nationalist, supremecist, extremist you need to actually say Israeli ‘nationalist, supremacist, extremist’, not ‘Zionist’. Otherwise it is misleading, confusing, or offensive.
There are many ordinary Jewish Israelis who are Zionists, in that they believe Israel is their homeland - given after WW11 by Britain after the Holocaust when Jews had nowhere to go and even Britain and the US were not accepting them. These Zionist’s for whom Israel is their homeland, nevertheless do believe in a two state solution and that Palestinians have rights too.
I saw in a Haaretz (Jewish) article that saying “Khanist” instead of “Zionist” ( misused) would be a good description for the nationalist, supremacist, extremists -
People like Smotrich, Ben-Givr, Netanyahu and the Likud party who are, as you say, making sure there will never be a two state solution.
(Khan was an American Jewish head of a terrorist movement. I think Ben Givr was one of his followers.)
