I see the old thread is sadly almost full. I wonder how many of these I will start? 😢

Hamas - terrorism, for sure.

Israel - you decide:

Occupying another people by land, sea and air
Controlling their every movement, be it people or basic supplies
Stealing their land, funded by the government
Building on their terrority, funded by the government
Bulldozing their homes, funded by the government
Aiding and abetting violent settlers who terrorise them, and set fire to their homes, funded by the government
Arresting anyone who complains
Shooting their civilians including children - prior to 7/10 in the West Bank alone over 500 people including over 100 children shot by the IDF.
Detaining their civilians without charge, trial, or lawyer
The much publicized rape of a detainee, and the subsequent outcry from some Israelis when the Police dared to arrest them. Said rapist has since been "blessed" by a prominent rabbi.
And the latest - pray tell what is the excuse for the destruction of Jenin.

Finally, according to the many Israeli historians, experts, scholars, NGOs, and the UN and international aid agencies: genocide and ethnic cleansing.

Hence my calling a double standard.

If one is terrorism, what's the other?

I'm still confused. Where is my double standard?

This is heartbreaking. I saw footage of her and her dad holding her rollerskates a few days ago on social media. It's just so sad to watch what they are going through

Air strike in a humanitarian safe zone kills over 40 people

Entire families disappeared under the sand' in deadly Israeli attack on al-Mawasi, official says
As we reported in an earlier post, Gaza’s civil defence agency said Israeli airstrikes on the al-Mawasi humanitarian zone in the southern city of Khan Younis had killed 40 people this morning.
Civil defence official Mohammed al-Mughair said emergency crews are still working “to recover 15 missing people as a result of targeting the tents of the displaced in Mawasi”.
“Entire families disappeared in the Mawasi Khan Younis massacre, under the sand, in deep holes,” said civil defence spokesperson Mahmud Bassal.
The Israeli military has questioned the strike’s death toll provided by authorities in Gaza, saying the numbers “do not align with the information held by the IDF”.
The military named several Palestinian militants it said were killed in the strike, describing them as “directly involved in the execution of the 7 October massacre”.
Hamas said claims its fighters were present at the scene of the strike were “a blatant lie”.

The military named several Palestinian militants it said were killed in the strike,

What is several? Two, three? Five?
And how do they know they were killed?

It is all so convenient for them to say anything they want about these disproportionate bombings.

Thank you, I had not seen this before. I never knew about Jewish bloc before either.

So many lies, and it goes on and on and on.

Yes @EasterIssland
I saw a statement in the Telegraph from the IDF that said

“US-Turkish activist who was shot dead during protests in the West Bank was killed “indirectly and unintentionally”, the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) said on Tuesday.”. (Today)
https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/world/us-turkish-activist-shot-unintentionally-says-idf/ar-AA1qkshZ

I am wondering how a trained sniper indirectly and unintentionally shoots someone in the head? Unintentionally implies they didn’t intend to fire their weapon-did he or she trip over a rock and accidentally discharge their sniper rifle? Indirectly implies an another target hit prior to her, but we know the bullet when from barrel of gun directly to her forehead…it did not bounce off or go through anything else.

It gets really frustrating to read things like that.

They're fucking liars.

Remember the US doctor talked about toddlers shot directly to the heart and the temple. 2 bullets. That doesn't happen by accident and is nothing short of murder. Toddlers!

It takes skill and intent to achieve that shot pattern. Two precise hits, both of which would be sufficient to take down a target. That's professional, controlled targeting (confirmed to me by a retired sniper).

Scirocco · 11/09/2024 06:56

Awful conduct. Just awful. Creating the circumstances for a polio outbreak and then obstructing efforts to vaccinate children against a disease that can kil them or cause lifelong disability.

Similar to what they have been doing to humanitarian vehicles, enough for the organisation concerned to put a halt to operations based on safety grounds without them having to directly prohibit operations.

EasterIssland · 11/09/2024 08:20

Can UN kick countries out of their organisation? I do believe Israel shouldn’t be part of it if continues killing , harassing members of the organisation and causing impediments

They can but it's never happened and it won't happen so long as the US has a veto in the Security Council.

What possible excuse is there, ramming them from front and back with military bulldozers, and shooting too - it is all unnecessary.

It seems the army has lost discipline. The country of Israel ought to beware of some of their very own in their midst.

PeasfullPerson · 11/09/2024 17:29

Unless there are consequences, there will continue to be ‘tragic accidents’.

I ask again. Why is Israel part of UN and is not immediately kicked out!
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/clyn400rm68o

And once again they show no compassion whatsoever for the innocent people they have killed, they are so flippant and uncaring with their excuses, never an ounce of remorse

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said aircraft had “conducted a precise strike on terrorists who were operating inside a Hamas command and control centre” embedded inside al-Jaouni school.

Precise ✔️
Command and control centre✔️
“Terrorists*”✔️

Ha ha. Today’s ticks.

If they had intelligence telling them terrorists were there then they should also have had intelligence that 6 UN aid workers were there.

As for aircraft I think that means drones operated from a safe bubble on the basis of
indiscriminate artificial intelligence gathered by other drones.

Yes, complaining about the UN's objection to 6 of their people people killed. What does the ambassador expect? A thank you?

Turkey will seek international arrest warrants over Israeli shooting of Ayşenur Ezgi Eygi
Turkey has opened an investigation into the death of a Turkish-American activist shot and killed by Israeli troops in the occupied West Bank and will request international arrest warrants, Ankara said on Thursday.
