And I also want to flag that yesterday evening, a clearly marked UN humanitarian vehicle - part of a convoy that had been fully coordinated with the IDF - was struck 10 times by IDF gunfire - including with bullets targeting front windows. The two staff members in the vehicle were thankfully unharmed.

They said the quiet part out loud, a few Israeli's (like Ori Goldberg) have been warning about how a lot of Israeli's really feel about Palestinians and what that means for the future of Israel. It helps make sense of all the "qualified" "I'm sorry about Gaza, but...." statements on this board.

I started out thinking that maybe I couldn’t judge because perhaps I would have got on with having breakfast while Germans were bombed during WW11, without really thinking about the little suffering children properly, especially if they were suffering here and elsewhere too.

But to have gone out dancing when my country was safer and had more fun when I thought of their suffering? That seems actually perverted, and sick to me.
