Burning and destroying copies of the Qur'an, and bombing centuries-old mosques.

Why!? Just why? Is it not bad enough that they have destroyed Gaza and murdered thousands. Why must they add insult to injury by desecrating the Quran and blowing up mosques??

When historic sites were destroyed elsewhere in the world, it was terrorism and barbarity. When it happens in Palestine, it just gets brushed under the carpet.

Destruction of culture and history is a part of what is meant by the term genocide.

I have hardly seen this reported anywhere either. It's so upsetting how it doesn't seem to matter that this is happening. They blew up the whole mosque!

To the world, it doesn't matter and no one on here will condemn it either I'm sure.

I for one cannot understand why Lammy has asked for yet another review of the legality of selling arms to Israel. It’s like they have several reviews already by legal experts saying it is illegal and being complicit in genocide and he is just doing the asking for review after review until he gets the answer he wants?

I'm seeing reports of a 26 year old Palestinian man murdered in Belgium, he was found tied to a tree. Not seen anything on google yet about it.

Nothing official yet, a few Twitter accounts are reporting it. If the circumstances surrounding are true it's effectively a KKK style murder in 2024.

Was it connected to this? 5 Palestinian men accused of murdering a Palestinian boy.

The 5 Palestinian men tried to take a boy hostage in an asylum centrevon Belgium.

The boy was found with his hands and feet tied and 5 Palestinian men have been arrested and charged for it. Awful.

That poor little boy. It is horrific.

I know, but why were 5 Palestinian men trying to kidnap him at the asylum centre, what is going on there. Poor boy ended up bound hands and feet and found dead. They been arrested and charged though. Hopefully justice means they won't see freedom.

Is the 5 Palestinian men binding a Palestinian boy hands and feet and murdering him KKK as well. That makes no sense!

Considering you've posted a link to an article from April 2019, in attempt to perhaps derail/distract, I would presume that no it's obviously not connected apart from both occurring in Belgium.

What happened to the little boy in 2019 is sick and tragic and I can't understand why anyone would use the story to perhaps prove a point.

On the KKK comment, perhaps you have missed the far right specifically targeting (including violently) minorities in Europe over the last couple of months. The KKK were also fond of lynching amd tying to trees Black Americans hence the reference to the similarities. Anyway I will wait for the alleged murder last Wednesday to be confirmed.

I thought it was so that they could determine which weapons could be used offensively and which weapons can only be used defensively, and so they don’t leave the UK open to legal challenges in the future. I believe from what I read there is a precedent for doing this from another case the UK was implicated in.

They have stopped issuing licences haven’t they? I like to believe that things are officially on hold until they have that clarification, but maybe it isn’t politically sensible to make a big song and dance about it at the moment?

Glad to see that a hostage has been found but a little perplexed by his immaculate haircut and sharp beard trim - who barbered him and why??
