Apologies for the long title! There are so many awful things happening to the Palestinians in the West Bank, the Christians in Israel and others.

I thought there was already a thread detailing this but now can’t find it, apologies if I am missing it. Or it may have already been full.

Also to MPs Labour needs to stop arming Israel. Maybe people need to remind their MPs what is happening.

Too
many in power are evil criminals. They are as bad as Hamas, but while Hamas got in one day’s worth of killing they’ve had 300 so far and have no intention of stopping, and had massively more powerful weapons to do their killing with too.

Too many in power are genocidal theives. They are ruining their own country where the majority are decent people just wanting a secure home. They do not care about the hostages either!and have consistently shown that.

This is so awful. The thug, illegal settlers have been doing this for years haven’t they, and now just more of it, sanctioned by the largely immoral and illegally behaving army.

The Israelis who are letting this lawlessness happen should watch out. It will gobble all they stood for that was good.

I would bet that those thuggish, thieving bullies, are also thugs to their wives.

These are the same settler lowlifes who are stealing Palestinian land, and army lowlifes backing them up.

The West thought they were helping Israel defend itself by sending arms. They are not defending Israel, just aiding and abetting zealot criminals.

I just watched this really interesting clip where Zachary Foster, Jewish American historian, describes the background to Hamas becoming violent. For anyone reading this with any doubt, I certainly do NOT feel their violence on October 7th was justified by any means. I just find this clip interesting as it explains how the organisation evolved from what it was back when it was founded, and apparently then it changed in 1987.

We will never know if things would have been different without the Israeli settlers constantly stealing more land from the Palestinians but it is certainly no way to achieve peace.

Re the imprisonment of Palestinian children for throwing stones - when adult Israeli settlers throw stones at Palestinians on their on their own land , no one arrests them.

Soldiers killed a Palestinian social worker who pleaded with them to let an ambulance with a woman in labor pass. They fired tear gas at the deceased's home and also killed another man for throwing stones

The forces struck at dawn, splitting into two: One group raided the town of Sa'ir, the other entered the neighboring town of Shuyukh. Within an hour, two Palestinians were dead – neither of whom should have been killed. In Sa'ir, Israel Defense Forces troops killed a social worker, Jihad Shalalda, 39, a father of six whose wife is pregnant; in Shuyukh, they killed Ramez Halaika, 22, who threw a stone at a convoy of armored jeeps. Two people killed within an hour, that was the bitter harvest of the forces that raided the two villages northeast of Hebron. All our forces returned safely to their base. As in the Gaza Strip, in the West Bank, too, it's okay now to shoot anyone who moves.
