Some of the police don't seem able to stop them. That Iranian guy has courage.

What about the Palestinians? You want the demonstrations to stop so that people stop thinking about the abhorrent crimes being done to them by a state.

So many courageous people in Iran, who would have known that not wearing a scarf could be a death sentence.

Yes - many ordinary Iranian people ( especially the women ) are inspirational . True courage.

I think the poster meant that we all go on a journey in these situations and some of us arrive at a point of compromise and listening to alternative viewpoints earlier than others. I guess that depends on your life experiences etc ..

I’m quite old … it’s taken me a while to appreciate how important compromise is. I think having children is one of the things that helped me to become less black and white in my thinking . That’s just me though.. the poster might have meant something else .
I do appreciate the posters on here who are able to disagree respectfully and don’t look for offence where none was intended.
