It might not male that much of a difference in the short term - but: to see the former victims of Apartheid take the lead on the world stage, and offer support (the way they - after multiple decades of campaigning and pressure ... it's not as though world leaders hated Apartheid South Africa "by default") is just ... a little spark of light within the darkness!

That is absolutely horrific. Do you think this adds credence to the idea that perhaps SA is perhaps not best placed to be the most credibly country to be invoking a genocide convention agsint another country?
And if so, why do you think there is so much enthusiasm for this on this thread - given SA's past and perhaps present human right's record.

But do you believe that Israel's actions in the war have been proportionate and justified? Is there anything you would disagree with or you would want the IDF to do differently? I don't believe that anybody can fairly judge whether the action of the IDF are proportionate and justified as there is so much information and misinformation coming out of the area on social media, biased news reports - for and against Israel. I think that Israel are alone and isolated in the region and desperate for their borders not to be breached again. I appreciate that this does not answer your question.

Despite the attempts to denigrate the region, it's a fact that there is not a lot of love for Nazis. The region suffered under brutal occupation under colonialism from Europe.

4383 / 8 (so that I can check every 3h) = 547 suffered domestic abuse every 3h in England and Wales in 2020
