Israel has been dropping leaflets urging they move south. Thousands are doing so safely.

They are taking on Hamas and pleased that people are moving so not to be caught up in the fighting. People are walking in their thousands.

One lady said they walked past tanks 'from both sides'.

Personally, I favour a one state solution - but I know that is considered a "far left" take. Any actually workable two state solution will do! Perpetuation of the status quo will not!

I’m sorry but has everyone screaming ethnic cleansing on this thread seen the statements from Hamas leaders that they don’t care about their own people- that they are happy to let them die as part of their holy war. It’s not like they are not being their true intentions.

The only gullible and naive people here are the ones who believe that it is possible in a bombed out war zone with no power (which people repeat all the time so they are well aware) that anyone other than Hamas (who have stockpiled fuel for generators) are posting updates and pictures from inside Gaza. How the hell are these images and testimonies getting out unless they are being sent by the only people with access to power?

I’d really like to know what proportion of the reported 10,000 killed were Hamas fighters. They are reporting all deaths as civilian which is absolutely impossible and done to cover up just how much they are using their own people as human shields.

Hamas have so far fired over 9,000 rockets into Israel. Without the iron dome the slaughter would be very much equal. Stop pretending there is only one aggressor here.

Do people really still think this is about hamas? OP you are naive. Hamas and israel are not having street fights around civilians. Civilians are getting bombed left right and centre on the off chance they might get hamas. But the truth is israel want Palestinian land. And they are getting it clearly. The Palestinians I've seen on social media are all very upset about this. They feel, and I don't blame them, that this is another Nakba. Very hard times for them.

I think they do see what's happening. I think they know Israel wants rid of the Palestinians once and for all. They know that because that's what they want too. They can't come right out and say that thought can they? Of course not. Instead they tie themselves in knots defending the indefensible.

The horrors, difficulty and depravity that awaits them in south Gaza is nothing to look forward to. they are not being evacuated to comfy hotels. south Gaza is being bombed as well. Will Israel ever even allow them back
