Here we go again. Are there not enough threads already on this issue? They all become echo chambers for people who have a very specific viewpoint. Ive stopped bothering to read them.

Wtf? Are you serious?!

Can you imagine if someone wrote this about the 7th October killings?

People are sharing news. It's what this board is for. Sharing news for people to see and learn from.

flufferknutter · 06/11/2023 17:20

Unbelievable 🤦🏻‍♀️

There is already another thread by the same OP on the same subject. We don't need a new one every 20 minutes. Its the same few posters posting on all the same threads. Add to an existing thread, you don't need to create new ones. And yes, this feels more like a propaganda exercise now than chat.

Same posters on the countless threads as well. Just ranting and trying to guilt trip people.

ketchup07070 · 06/11/2023 17:25

@Angst79 Lots of other topics you can read on MN?

Yes indeed. Just been and taken a look. Same names, same approach.

Why did you comment then? Fine, I guess, if you don't find it extremely alarming and harrowing to read/learn about the current scale of the destruction caused by Israel such that it has made highly unpalatable 'world records' like the highest number of deaths of UN aid workers in any single conflict ever. But if you don't care about this loss of innocent life, why come to the thread at all? What a response to such a shocking statistic. Callous beyond belief.

Utterly harrowing OP. A ceasefire is so desperately needed.

flufferknutter · 06/11/2023 17:30

Absolutely disgusting dismissals here. Some of us are genuinely appalled and upset about this situation. Callous attitudes.

ketchup07070 · 06/11/2023 17:31

But it would be quite funny if soddingspider and angst stay on the thread to keep saying how they are not reading it. Sorry, just gave me a slight smile. Yes, terrible OP.

sunshinesupermum · 06/11/2023 17:31

A ceasefire is desperately needed Not until the hostages taken on 7th October are freed and sent home safely.

Eh? How would you know that unless you are also on 'every one of these threads'? Does that not mean you are also 'obsessed' and also need to 'get a grip' likewise? I really don't see the need to be so rude to people for expressing sadness and shock about such a horrendous 'world record' that is the greatest loss of innocent civilian UN aid workers life in a single conflict ever. Unbelievable that people can be so callous to respond with comments like that telling people to 'get a grip' and chilling to see such a response trying to shut down discussion of such sorrow.

WatTyler · 06/11/2023 17:32

Israel doesn't care what the anti-Semites in the UN have to say. The UN won't even condemn Hamas as a terrorist organisation.

And what do you think Hamas will do if Israel lay down their weapons? I'll tell you what they'll do, bomb the fuck out of it and do what they've pledged to do as they've existed which is wipe the Jews off the face of the earth. They don't want a ceasefire, they never have and never will.

ketchup07070 · 06/11/2023 18:02

@Flopsythebunny Nobody here can tell you what Hamas will do. They can tell you that more children killed than in all global conflict across the last 4 years is not acceptable. That laying siege to 2m people is not acceptable. That more UN workers killed than ever recorded is not acceptable. Time for a different solution.

LauraNorda · 06/11/2023 18:04

I hope Israel have set the record for the number of Hamas terrorists killed. Maybe they could get started on the sympathisers and financiers too.

ketchup07070 · 06/11/2023 18:07

@LauraNorda Who knows? They seem to have set remarkable records on killing children, journalists and aid personnel.

Tropicana0 · 06/11/2023 18:10

It’s so unbelievably devastatingly sad that this ongoing massacre has no end in sight. I can’t believe so many children have been killed and we still have people (even in this thread) saying things like no ceasefire until the hostages are released or it’s a Hamas run hospital so because Biden put it in everyone’s head this is now an argument even though previously the death numbers (because this as we all know isn’t the first time Israel has killed innocent civilians) were accepted. Actually an Israeli newspaper quoted the number of total dead at 20,000 (look it up) so the numbers reported by the actual people on the ground in Gaza are less and don’t include all the people trapped under rubble.

also saying things like even if we stop then Hamas will just come back is a weak and pathetic argument. What about israeli children? You’re anti semitic for not sticking up for this campaign of violence being conducted by Israeli authorities, Israel has the right to defend itself. This is our land etc etc - All weak arguments in the sight of thousands and thousands of people dying unnecessarily and being put in mass graves. And fyi all children matter whatever religion, or colour of their skin, or even where they are born shouldn’t be a reason to kill them.

On a radio station a host asked a caller (also online, look it up) if Hamas was in Israel how would the IDF handle it would they bomb the living daylights out of everyone or would they do a targeted attack. The caller obvs didn’t answer but if Hamas was in occupied Israel they wouldn’t bomb the whole place they would go in and do what they actually have the capability to do and that is targeted methods of removing terrorism. So they are unnecessarily murdering people.

even the arguments on this thread supporting Israel are so weak. How can anyone even defend Israel anymore, it’s absurd and they openly boast and talk about what they want to do with Gaza when they get rid of everyone living there. Literally pushing them out. Killing people who try to go to the south, killing people in the south and when people make threads like these, talking about how this is the highest number of children killed in the world Israeli bots or paid for people come in with these weak arguments.

the world sees what is happening, although some choose to close their eyes whilst this goes on that’s up to them.

all children and all lives matter. Netanyahu has incorrectly shadowed the atrocities of 7th Oct by this act of ethnic cleansing.

i just created an account to say this. I have nothing else to say except the number of threads where no one can talk about the devastatingly horrendous attacks that are taking place on over 2 million people, without people come on with these talking points and derailing threads is also disgusting.

good bye.
