Do you think the hostages have a better chance of being released if a ceasefire was negotiated or if Israel continued pounding the Gaza strip where many hostages are held?
My personal view is that there is a much higher chance to have a greater number of hostages released and united with their loved ones If there was a ceasefire.
The way it's continuing now unfortunately greatly diminishes those chances

Israel has already said their priority is getting rid of Hamas. My understanding of the unsaid sentence here is that they are willing to do this at the risk of these innocent hostages.

No, Israel doesn't say it; just goes ahead and does it. Start by comparing the number of deaths perpetrated by Israel and Hamas. Even though Israel wants to portray itself as a moral authority they fall short even compared to terrorists. Facts speak for themselves.

@Gardenowl please have a look at the Palestinian map from 1946 to today. There is no bigger truth than that and if you choose to believe it’s all cotton candy then that’s fine

there certainly is a lot of evidence, and it seems that the Israeli govt bots are doing a great job of attempting to derail threads that seek to expose war crimes by posting the same tired denial and distraction techniques on every single one.

The UN is horribly prejudiced against Isreal and maybe someone should make a big noise about the release of the hostages 30 of whom are children.

No-one's stopping anyone from shouting about the hostages. You might remind Netanyahu of that, he seems to have made it a secondary goal. I really hope those 30 children are still alive and I won't be so crass as to whatabout the number of Gazan children already dead.
