I started it so I must get a BFP before the end - them's the rules.

Hi ladies
I am incredibly sorry to say that I will no doubt be joining you again in the next month or so. Just had a scan due to spotting and discovered bean stopped developing at around 7 weeks (should be about 9 1/2 wks now ). We're going to wait and see whether I miscarry naturally in the next week or so - right now I want to curl up in a ball and not come out for a month. Am having incredibly uncharitable thoughts about the bint sat beside me in the EPAU complaining loudly on her mobile about the wait to be seen and wishing she could go outside for a fag. Argh, just once I would like to be the person walking out of the EPAU with a stunned smile on her face, clutching a little scan picture of a healthy beating-heart, properly-developing bean.

sigh.

I know, there are ladies on here with harder stories. Be gentle, I'll acknowledge other people's suffering just as soon as my heart stops feeling so squeezed.

Hopefully I think I love you... testing 5 hours after a BFN is exactly the sort of thing I would do.
I testing this am (throw the fish at me now), am only 8dpo, but am already wondering whether to test this evening. Damn those internet cheapies.

LadyBee I'm so, so sorry to hear your news. Life is unfair. I don't know what to say to you at the moment as its the thing I'm currently terrified of happening. Thinking of you xx

loopy you may be right about the not wanting to bond bit. She knows about my mcs, and a few members of her family have struggled with ttc so I think she was gearing up for the same. She's such a strong independant woman that I forget that actually getting pg must also be terrifying for her as it can be for any woman. She's had a tough first trimester with constant sickness and exhaustion, it was just a little hard hearing her refer to her baby as wretched and how she toyed with the idea of getting rid (in a jokey way). But I guess for the moment she'll never really understand how it feels to long for a child you haven't got.
Am just venting niggles really, am sure it'll all turn out fine and we'll remain the bestest of best friends (I hope so anyway).

not much to say on my part. Tested and of course got a BFN, don't know why I even bothered. Time to wait for OV now.

have done the list - not graduated anyone (thought you ladies might want to do that yourselves when ready x!) I have moved digi down to day 2 - I hope thats correct. ladyB I have left you where you are, you can decide in your own time if/when you want to move - I hope thats ok xx

News from me - I tested this afternoon and got BFN, am hoping its still too early. I can manage not to test too early in the mornings but seem to crumble in the afternoon. I am not going to test now until I am officailly late xx

Ladybee sorry to hear your news.

RTD came this morning for me which means I have to undergo the horrible procedure which may resolve the issue or just lead to pain with nothing happening.

On the positive front I had a job interview today, have another one tomorrow and another one next week and am nearing finding a nanny for when ds starts school so not all bad. (If I'd got a bfp too I was planning on buying a lottery ticket just to see if my luck would hold).

I've updated the list below with my details. Cycle 15. That's depressing.

Ladybee I'm so terribly sorry to hear your news, how unfair and crap

Have managed to avoid thinking about testing all afternoon by (a) visiting a friend for tea and staying until the shops were shut so i couldn't buy a CBD, (b) making a dress this evening and (c) packing for camping tomorrow.

Will use last internet cheapy in the morning, if the opportunity arises (i.e. I can sneak in when DP isn't watching). If it's BFN/inconclusive again, I'll probably have to wait till we're back from camping. Eek! Although RTD due on Saturday, so may not need to wait till we're back if it puts in an appearance meantime...

Will try to race on here in the morning in between packing the car/buying a cool box/buying some disposable nappies (reusables while camping is too hardcore for us) and let you know the result (because I know you're all on the edges of your seats. Ahem).

ladybee wanted to add my commiserations - timings sound so similar to my april mmc, scan at 7 weeks showed heartbeat but scan and 9 and a half showed none and bean stopped growing at 7 and a half weeks. Ended with ERPC - which was in some ways helpful because an enforced period of wttc has helped me understand how I really feel. Love to you although I know there is nothing anyone - even those closest to you can say. All the warmest thoughts in the world for you tonight.

Harrumph. POAS this morning (internet cheapy) and exactly the same thing - BFN at 2, 3, 4 and 5 mins (obsessive, moi?!), then at 10 mins on the dot when i checked it (having not looked since 5 mins) there was the faintest of faint lines. Still very much looked like how I imagine an evap line looks rather than a BFP. Think I'll buy a CBD today, sneak it into camping bag and test tomorrow or Saturday, assuming AF doesn't appear meantime.

My LP is usually spot on 14 days, which means RTD is due tomorrow, or saturday morning at the latest, so I'd expect a more definitive BFP by now if I was PG (got strong +tves at 25 days with DS, and am now on CD26).
