Hi all,

Brand new thread!

I started it so I must get a BFP before the end - them's the rules.

jolls 7+2 is good and know what you mean about not being ready to 'go back'! you might want them to take you off the condolence section so you aren't reminded every time .. just a thought

viv your boss sounds like he suckes the big one!! fuck him and do what you need to do, life won't wait!!

julia1969 FR are the least sensitive so never do them!! CB are more sensitive but as has been highlighted Superdrug are the best - or internet cheapies (I have a pack of 50 for £15 also test sensitive although you have to dip them rather than pee on them!

MrsGM sorry to hear RTD arrived and just after testing is always sods law

8's hang in there - I am the ultimate fan of late testing

mrspv sounds like you are in fine fettle, what happened with your 'mate' at work, has that all calmed down now, hope so

hairy impressive ovulation spotting very intuitive

ivy and hopefully lovely dresses, wedding planning is a great diversion from life

Cheepz news - our buyer has accepted a new offer on his house, no chain at near asking price, so things are looking up again, he went on monday, had viewings yesterday and accpeted an offer today, so now its a question of timing and whether he wants to rebnegotiate the price as he will be getting less having previously had an above asking price offer, still it could all be back on! rollercoaster. wish miscarriage situations could be reversed so quickly. I am now down to 2 and a half weeks at work, 9 working days so its feeling great like i can move on soon and i am starting new job right away so exciting times

Nanny is starting soon to get DS used to nanny and nursery mix and he moves up now straight away as we were holding him back until he changed to new nursery originally and now he should be in the 3-5 room

think i am on about cd18 so should be begining of cycle around time start new job so will be having august be our first month of trying again - same time i had my first mc last year, can't believe it has been a year definitely the last few cycles respite from ttc have made me feel much stronger about trying again

love to all you fantabulous ladies

Hopefully · 14/07/2010 13:03

Loopy I'm detecting a hint of sarcasm

Shouldn't be on here, need to go and list some stuff in my etsy store while DS naps - looking at the wedding budget has made me seriously motivated to earn some money!

youremindmeofthebabe · 14/07/2010 13:38

Hello ladies! I am back from my lovely holidays, and AF turned up on the last day
(for once it was kind to me!) So, Yay for AF and proper TTc can start now! so I reckon am on CD5 of a WTF cycle. But don't worry about adding me if I am confusing!

hopefully I love Etsy! What do you sell?

Yesterday was a good day...neither DH or I slept very well so about lunchtime (DH day off) he says "I need an early night tonight" me slightly panicky at the thought of no SWI after a day off smiled sweetly and said "OK" so he says "shall I just inseminate you now?" me feeling very much relieved said "OK"

Agree that the SWI isn't too stressful it's the inbetween 'SFF to stop himself accusing you of using him like a sperm bank when you just wanna sleep' that I can't be bothered with lol.

DH has annoyed me which doesn't help...we were thinking of taking DS out of school but DH has now stated that he doesn't think I could manage home ed and a baby, I disagree but what can I say, I really want a baby (even if it is a selfish need) and it's take me 8 years to talk him into it. I am now feeling guilty for not saying something like "OK we won't have a baby so I can concentrate on DS" I mean what kind of parent am I to put my broodiness above my son's education anyway? ARGHHHHH!!!!

digitalgirl · 14/07/2010 14:58

Love the wedding dress chat. When I got married I found a dress I liked in the shops and then had a dressmaker copy it. Saved about £600-£700, and got it customised (longer train, matching shawl with leftover material etc).

So...been having strange cramps lately. Trying not to get too excited. Will also have to spend the next 7 mornings forcing myself to go to the loo before I've convinced myself to take a wee stick with me. I'm very much hoping to follow magic8's ethos of not testing early because it just means all the worry starts early (or being faced with a depressing BFN). I will, however, test on the day I am due as I've booked an acupuncture appointment that day.

digitalgirl · 14/07/2010 15:03

Oh and with no wedding to plan, my distraction technique consists of scheduling day trips and lunch venues for every day of our week in Devon (thanks again to loopy. Plus organising a ridiculously over the top birthday party for DS who will be two at the end of August. Ordered stupidly expensive invites yesterday. Seriously, personalised printed invitations for a 2 year old's birthday. It just screams Alpha Mum with too much time on her hands.
I shall also be borrowing props from our Art Department to decorate the house in a jungle theme.

I think I need an extension to plan or a house move to organise or something...

Magic8ballhastheanswers · 14/07/2010 18:39

I cracked.............

Magic8ballhastheanswers · 14/07/2010 18:45

BFP by the way xxx

saffronbun · 14/07/2010 18:49

Aw, jollster, glad to hear all is still going okay - my understanding is that for us lot, knicker checking is perfectly normal until you can't see your knickers because the bump's in the way

Welcome back YRMOTB & fingers crossed for the house cheepz

I got married this April & my dress came from Coast (cheap but lovely). Plus I did do the hoooge meringue thing first time around and almost passed out from heat exhaustion so that's something to consider if you're getting hitched in the summer months

Testing early - I didn't test til AF was 5 days late last time - is that some sort of world record? I'm never going to be able to hold out for that long again, I just know it.

Freezingmyarseoff · 14/07/2010 19:33

Yaaaaaaaaaay to Magic8s am having a big drink on your behalf

digital I don't recommend organizing a house extension, we're about to start one and I'm having enough stresses already and the builders haven't even turned up yet

Thanks for the, fortunately it has cleared up pretty quickly. I didn't know about cranberry pills, just the juice so will remember for another time. Only trouble is DH is away for the rest of the week on business

Cheepz sending you some lucky vibes for the housesale (you too Jollster) and glad you are nearing the end of your wttc. I feel much better about trying after my wait. Very glad I decided to have some time off.

Jollster and Moofold keep lurking it's good having you around.

More wedding and dress talk please - I like it

waves to everyone else

Aww, thanks Freezing, I think I will. Reading my post back I would like to clarify that I am pissed off with having no symptoms - not with being tired. I will take any symptoms gladly and promise not to moan about them!!
