Hi all,

Brand new thread!

I started it so I must get a BFP before the end - them's the rules.

OP posts:
hairytriangle · 05/07/2010 21:08

Oh Sarah I can imagine how u must feel. Really nervous myself about trying again and if I'm lucky god knows how I'll cope with the worry.

Muser · 05/07/2010 21:12

sarahmia when I had my ectopic I was told that there was no way I could mistake shoulder tip pain for anything else. Apparently it's a very distinctive sort of pain, not like a normal shoulder ache.

Congratulations on the BFP, do bear in mind that neither of the tests you've done where FMU so they might be faintish as a result of that.

Good luck, I know how scary it is. And if you can't panic here where can you?

hairytriangle · 05/07/2010 21:20

Oh muser what a lovely message hope you are ok Sarah

BUnderTheBonnet · 05/07/2010 23:20

Hi moof!

I've got a doctor's appointment next Monday, and I'm going to try to wangle an early scan. If I can't, I'll have to go private I can't possibly wait till 12 weeks. I'd like a scan around 9 weeks, tbh, because that's when I think things went wrong last time. No way to know really though.

Morning everyone! We got back from holiday on Sunday, but have been tackling laundry/emailing marquee people for wedding and other thrilling things. Amazingly, my cousin is lending us his (massive) gardens (and house) for the reception, so it's free! Am so excited, as it means we can go all out on booze/band/food etc.

We've also decided (almost definitely) to go ahead and plan it for next July. I was thinking of putting it off till I'm pregnant so we can make sure we're not marrying with a 2 week old/fatty 8.5month pregnant bride, but at this stage I think there's no guarantees of anything, so we've decided to plan it, and we'll use contraceptive for the cycle that would give us a very teeny newborn at the time of the wedding. I've said I'm happy to be married with a 6 week old, but not a 3 week old!

CBFM is giving me 2 bars (is that high? And 3 is peak?), so SWI yesterday, temp still normal, so no OV yet. Will be interesting to see if temp and CBFM agree when I OV.

Hopefully · 06/07/2010 07:05

Oh, and apologies, but I haven't caught up with thread! Will read back today if i get a chance...

sarahmia · 06/07/2010 07:33

hi all... thank you all for your reassurance...
did a test with FMU this am... I think it is darker but still faint.. but have decided to TRY to stop worrying.. your right, it wont help anything!!

infact my sis in law has told me about a woman who does bespoke hypno cds and i have tld her about my history and she is going to make me a cd to hopefully help me calm down a bit. Usually i dont buy into these things but im up for anything at the moment... also going to go to a homeopath to see if there is anything i can take to calm me down...

but untill then i will just dry y'all mad!!!!

northerngoldilocks · 06/07/2010 08:18

Hopefully welcome back.

Sarah I've been reading a lot about pregnancy tests - mainly in an effort to stop myself stupidly POAS at 7DPO!! From what I've read a faint line is as much of a pregnant result as any so as long as you're reading it within the time limit you can stop doubting it! I haven't put you as BFP on the list - thought you might like to do that yourself?

Viv - hope you're doing ok. A friend of mine told me she was pregnant yesterday and her due date is pretty much what mine would have been had I not m/cd. Pleased for her, but it is tough so can imagine how hard it was for you to find out re your friend on your birthday. Fingers crossed that magic8s predictions come true re lucky 8th cycle!

Hope everyone else is ok.

BUnderTheBonnet · 06/07/2010 08:22

sarah my lines were stupidly faint for about a week. Only the digital test actually convinced me. The digitals actually got to the 2-3 week stage before the lines got darker on ther other tests. They were the same with my DD IIRC. Drove me mad too.

OP posts:
hairytriangle · 06/07/2010 09:03

Sarahmia just to let u know doc told me that a positive cannot be false! After undid three home tests lol x

sarahmia · 06/07/2010 09:16

I LOVE YOU ALL SO SO MUCH!!!

do you think you are going to get bored of reassuring me???

am going to wait now to do another one and ill do a digi one that time.

randomimposter · 06/07/2010 14:36

muse great news - you must be Mrs Relieved of Relievedville.

sarahmia congrats, keep well.

Sorry if I've missed anything else big/medium sized. Brian a bit frazzled today.

Cheepz · 06/07/2010 14:56

sarahmia congrats honey - you hang out and worry as much as you like

jolls if brian is frazzled maybe he should have a little lie down!!

so we are waiting to see if exchange happens today - whatever - it is iminent and there don't seem to be any significant issues remaining outstanding so just maybe

anyhoo as long as its soon I don't care

have been busy at work doing the following: gossiping, having lunch, tea, coffee, desk chat with anyone prepareed to listen, doing my chioldcare shcedule for the gap between current nursery and next nursery round the move, making move lists, calling my mum, dh, estate agent, best friend and boden (to see where my new jeans are!!) and have read the paper online

so they are getting great value for money from me on my notice

plan to leave early and go for coffee with DS and best pal

hope everyones ok, have read through and it seems like everyone is

tigger15 · 06/07/2010 21:12

Congrats Sarahmia I hope it all works out.

Cheepz sounds like you're having fun. I wish I was in your position but I'm still on the job hunting, house hunting and nanny hunting stage.

Magic8ballhastheanswers · 06/07/2010 21:44

Hi ladies am on craptop which will probably crash so will keep short and sweet, Cheepz very glad you are on wind down at work and I do hope that you have exchanged today or if not tomorrow!!!!

Sarah I hope you are feeling calmer this eve but a line is a line hun!

Good news Muser

Welcome back Hopefully happy planning - very exciting! If you need a photograher I can thoroughly recommend MrMagic8

Big wave to all the other ladies xx

I feel like my hangover hasn't really gone, still tired even though I am sleeping like a LOG, can't stop eating and this evening I have some serious cramps going on, well a continuous ache really and I have crazy heartburn tonight I am thinking positive but please pass back that haddock!!!!!!

batteryhen · 07/07/2010 06:28

Morning all,

muser that is relly good news x
hopefully glad you are at the planning stage!
sarah I hope you are feeling calmer and happier!
magic when you have finished with the haddock can you pass it to me??

am driving myself a bit crazy as according to FF I am about to ovulate soon, however I am not going to see DP until friday night, we SWI on Sunday so I am hoping that either some swimmers are left, or I can hang off ovulating till Friday My opks still say negative but I dont really get on with them.....

Oh the confusion!

Hope everyone is ok

cheepz - glad you are making the best of your last few days!!

mrning all, was very quiet on here yesterday!

morning Loopy

Tigger I hate nanny hunting, I had one and she left one day for NO reason and then i couldnt bring myself to find another one, it was hard enough finding her and she wasnt that fantastic to begin with! but good luck with ALL your hunting!

me... well, am feeling calm right now, lets see how that lasts ;)

Cheepz · 07/07/2010 09:35

exchange now planned for friday - dotting of i's and crossing of t's and the small matter of transfering money

back at desk not doing any work - today I think I might finish everything do that I really do have nothing left for the next 3 weeks and 2 dasy until I leave, then I canplan the move and make lists to my hearts content!

boden package should arrive at the office today

nanny and granny have agreed childcare schedule so that is all sorted too

hope everyone here is ok and sorry no ttc info but still waiting - cbfm says cd11 and low which is what i would expect so if i hit peak on cd15 again this moth that will be 4 cycles in a row and maybe i won't bother buying anymore sticks - every time i got pg was cd15, every month the peak is cd`15 - when we start will just have to swi on cd15 and maybe baby - surely it won't be that simpe but who knows

digitalgirl · 07/07/2010 15:15

Officially on 2/3ww now. Despite having a drawer full of tests I think I might wait till I'm actually late this time (due two weeks tomorrow). If no bfp this should be a 42 day cycle which is a massive improvement on my 60 day WTF cycle.

Am knackered. Long hours at work coupled with a toddler not going to bed till 10 but still waking up at 6 (oh and a 'busy' weekend) = very slow digitalgirl today.

barrenbrook · 07/07/2010 18:28

Hello, just ducking in to see how you're all doing, glad all seems good with you all. I'm still loitering, just keeping a low profile. Moo thanks for thinking of me love, glad all is well with you. x

Moofold · 07/07/2010 18:59

Good to hear you're alright BarrenB. You've had a rough trot - just making sure you're keeping your pecker up.

God, its slow here last few days. Glad to see some serenity for now Sarahmia and things moving at last for Cheepz. Hope your resolve lasts Digi! Loop I've been wondering about Ivy too, keeping us in suspense you midden!

Big waves to everyone else
