Hi all,

Brand new thread!

I started it so I must get a BFP before the end - them's the rules.

OP posts:
Muser · 23/06/2010 11:04

That's wonderful news BunnyBaby, and what a surprise to find yourself so much further ahead!

WestYorkshireGirl · 23/06/2010 16:11

Congrats Jolls & muser - great news! How lovely to see several BFPs in a row!
Hi to Saffron - hope you are doing OK.

batteryhen · 23/06/2010 16:11

Hello all I am busy typing whislt footy is on ......

I have had a bit of a think, and I think that what I thought was my first RTD was in fact the last bit of bleeding from the MC, so in fact I think I might only be day 25. Can someone change me please?

TTC#1 Cycle 1 UCL 28, CD24

I think this might stop me obsessivley testing too!

Hope everyone is ok xx

Loopy welcome, and so sorry to hear of your MC.

Right, RTD is officially 1 day late. Am determinedly reminding myself that I may well have OV'd a few days later this cycle, if whopping quantity of EWCM on CD18 is anything to go by. Am definitely temping next cycle (assuming BFN when I give in and POAS tomorrow) so that at least I know when to expect RTD!

batteryhen · 23/06/2010 19:14

I have been brave and done the list. I have only changed myself - and slotted myself back down to day 23. I couldn't stand the pressure at the top!! I am off to Germany tomorrow, and am taking no tests of any description with me. I go feel very PMTish, which is confusing - but I am just going with it for now ...

Hi to new people - sorry to see you are here, but you are very welcome x

OP posts:
northerngoldilocks · 23/06/2010 21:21

BUnder - a line is a line. If its not evaporation, its a line. I'm reliably informed that you don't get false positives, only false negatives

Am sure its hard to be calm about this - but I think that a line is good news - step away from the tests!!

Cheepz · 23/06/2010 21:55

awww viv how could i forget you babe xxxx hope you are enjoying the sun

lucysnowe · 23/06/2010 22:12

Loopy welcome. I lost mine at 9 weeks, it's horrible isn't it; and after a healthy scan that must have been a shock, I'm so sorry. Glad you are ready to start again and welcome to the obsession.

So day 16 and am BLEEDING for some reason, not ovulatory bleeding alas, I really hope this isn't going to turn into a WTF cycle. I'm wondering if it's because I forgot to take agnus castus for a couple of days, if so it's really making a difference. Everything sucking, anyway.

saffronbun · 23/06/2010 22:33

BUnder, deep breath & think calming thoughts or someone will be chasing after you with a kipper before you know it ;-p

Lines are indeed just lines, goldilocks is right although when I start TTC again you can feel free to hurl the kipper in my direction cos I'll definitely need it.

Hello Loopy, welcome & yes, it's definitely scary 2nd time around and good that so many people here totally get that - I cheer myself by looking at the long list of grads who have managed BFP. It's a VERY big list

batteryhen · 23/06/2010 22:42

BUnder A line is a line - be it a big neon flashing one or a little shadowy one - its still the same result. Of course I can say all this now but when I am completley neurotic (and my time will come) please feel free to give me a good arse kicking x

Lucy sorry to hear about your mid cycle bleed. Do you think it was a failed ov attempt? Last cycle I had 2 days of spotting after I thought I'd ovulated - a week later I ovulated. Perhaps you'll do the same?

Have had acupuncture this evening and electrostimulation on my ovaries in a bid to get them to hatch. Let's hope it works soon! In other news I'm going to forget the diet tomorrow as it's my birthday - I shall also be drinking. Am not expecting to ov for at least another week.

BFN, of course . I honestly don't know why I expect anything different. Am so bloody depressed by this whole thing.

Hopefully · 24/06/2010 07:32

OMG. Best way to make RTD arrive - waste a fiver on a bloody test .

And DP's brother's partner announced she's 3 months PG yesterday. Why is it so unfair?

randomimposter · 24/06/2010 08:31

for you hopefully. Arsicles.

Enjoy your birthday digi. bunder know exactly how you feel, but the sensible view IS that a line is a line etc. BUT what about this all so emotional journey is "sensible"?? Am planning to test again on Monday when I should be 5 weeks; hoping to see a darker line, but fully expecting not to.

cheepzy.... go go go. New job? New schmob. And thanks for those of you who have encouraged that noone has had to leave the Grads thread twice... hope not to be a trendsetter in that way. My fashion style turns many heads I can tell you... (in horror ).

and a big sunny wave to everyone else.

littlemiss72 · 24/06/2010 08:58

Morning all, happy birthday digital have a wonderful day

hopefully news, know what you mean about testing to bring on RTD. It's so unfair especially when others around you seem to sail through and slap you in the face when you just don't need it. ((hugs)) x

ViV hope the holiday is going well hunni, we are buddies again this month and no doubt your feeling yourself up as usual like me. Boobies defo tender this month

I'm still suffering the summer cold from hell, sleeping has been a problem for the last couple of nights and my nose is running faster than any London train!

Hi to everyone else! Hope you enjoyed the match yesterday..lets hope zi germans don't kick us out Sunday!

northerngoldilocks · 24/06/2010 11:08

fliesby - I really think that everyone is different post ERPC. Some people seem to have their next period almost as normal, I waited 10 weeks. Its infuriating as you just want to get the whole thing behind you and move on.

Anyway - day 9 of new cycle - had a scan yesterday (as had a dermoid cyst identified at EPU when I found out about the MMC). Cyst still there but otherwise apparently everything looks healthy. Said that uteris lining looked thick - so could mean that this cycle will be much shorter. Think this means that sometimes can take a couple of cycles to get back to normal. In the mean time lots of SWI for me just in case I'm about to ovulate (have started temping but its the first month of that so not sure whats going on yet!)

Muser · 24/06/2010 11:15

Really sorry hopefully, what rubbish news.

Bunder step away from the tests madam. A line is a line. I know it's scary - but try to stay hopeful.

I am going to the docs tomorrow morning to request blood tests and an early scan to confirm this one is working. Very nervous indeed.

digitalgirl · 24/06/2010 12:46

fliesby I didn't have an erpc, miscarried naturally, but my WTF cycle was still 60 days long. I have long cycles anyway, but that was definitely my longest one I've ever recorded. It was very frustrating waiting to ov and a similarly stressful 2ww after that. But am through it now and feeling very positive about the future (even if no bfp this cycle).
Electrostim - first time I had it done. My acupuncturist attached a tens machine to a couple of needles that he'd put in my ov region. Very low level electric pulse that just felt a little tingly, my body actually tuned it out after a couple of minutes so I couldn't even feel the tingles.
I've been having EWCM for the last couple of days so I'm on course for an egg (never know with my body though) - so if it does work I'll imagine it would have given a helping hand.

hopefully so so sorry . It's really quite shit getting your period at the same time as others announcing their pregnancies. I've been there a few times. Hope you get through the next few days ok.

battery I've always felt rtd-like cramps at the end of EWCM when I'm about to ovulate. There's been many a time that I've mistaken ov for implantation cramps and thus missed my window of opportunity. Keep going with the SWI!

littlemiss hope you recover from your cold. I have hayfever, and havn'et been able to take anti-histamines in the last couple of years because I've been pregnant or brestfeeding. Now I don't want to take them because they hinder ewcm!

muser good luck at the docs.

northerngoldilocks good luck swi.

waves to everyone else magic8, jolls, loopy, BUnder, saffron, pv, lucy and anyone else I've missed!

Magic8footballhastheanswers · 24/06/2010 13:01

Afternoon ladies, just updating the list. Hopefully I am sorry RTD got you and I find that you always get news of someone else getting up the duff just as RTD is about to or does arrive which really rubs salt into the wounds But maybe we should think positive like one of the others girls (I can't remember who it was now??) said and see it as a positive that your body is working properly.......hard I know xx do you want me to move you to CD1? Let me know and I will x

Big waves and hand holding for those on the 2ww and those about to get on it!! Bunder a line is a line lovely! x

Right am off out in the garden..........need to catch up on the tan before viv gets back!!
