Hi all,

Brand new thread!

I started it so I must get a BFP before the end - them's the rules.

OP posts:
northerngoldilocks · 22/06/2010 13:58

Ok - so in an effort to secure my 'health in pregnancy grant' before its phased out I've started charting my temperature to work out when i'm ovulating as figured that my cycles might be all over the place given that the 'WTF' one lasted 10 weeks!

Wondered if anyone who's more experienced at this than me could tell me how exact the 'same time each day' bit needs to be. For example if I get up at the same time on 5 days a week, but 20 mins later the 2 other days will this matter? (I recognise this may be a stupid control freak type question - but don't want to mess up my first charting effort)

Redheadgal · 22/06/2010 14:14

Woot woot for Muser, Jolls and BUnder!! Great news guys. Hope to see you all on t'other fred soon! xx

Muser · 22/06/2010 14:25

What is the other thread? I like the idea of a nice grads thread where people know about the rubbish side of it all.

AlbaDeTamble · 22/06/2010 14:30

It's here Muser: grads thead -- you'll find lots of people you know there

batteryhen · 22/06/2010 16:44

Hello!! What fab news for you both - 3 BFPs in a week - must be some sort of record....! I am not testing till the weekend as I will be a week late then. However, i dont think I will get a BFP as think I may still be in WTF cycle.

BUnderTheBonnet · 22/06/2010 16:54

Hooray muser and jollster!!!! (But you're both thread "famous" , and I shall feel like a wolly on the grads thread...)

jollster my line is faint on the internet cheapies, and isn't getting any darker! I mean, really faint, like you have to squint and hold it in the right light. But the digital test said yes, so I'm clinging to that.

OP posts:
Unbuffy · 22/06/2010 17:36

Had to pop back and do silly wobbly woot woot dances for Muser and Jolls, and Bunder don't feel a wally, we're all in the same boot!

Hopefully · 22/06/2010 17:46

Still no AF here. Thought it had arrived earlier, but was pink wee from beetroot salad at lunch . Am, for once, resigned to it arriving, but wanted it to arrive today so I was on a new cycle! Still hate DP, so it's safe to assume it's on its way.

batteryhen · 22/06/2010 18:02

Hopefully I am with you on that one - I want to either get a BFP or RTD, enough of being in limbo!

naitimum · 22/06/2010 18:40

Hi,
I hope it's ok to jump in and join. I don't know exactly where we are in terms of TTC, we've just had 2 mc's in the space of about 3 months. Pretty keen to get back on the TTC saddle tho, so thought I'd ask if I can join in with you all!

Magic8footballhastheanswers · 22/06/2010 18:46

Welcome aboard naitimum ! You have joined at a lovely time as we have had 3 BFPs this week already Lots of positive vibes

Sorry to hear you have had a quite frankly shit couple of months, we have all been there so totally understand x

If you let me know your stats I will add you to our lovely list!

x

clareanna · 22/06/2010 19:04

BIG CHEERS TO JOLLS BUNDER AND MUSER*!!!
absolutely delighted for you all!
looking forward to spending a long happy 9 months together on the grads thread!

Good luck to those still waiting - fingers crossed for Moof and hopefully

saffronbun · 22/06/2010 19:46

Hoorah for Jolls and Muser - this is clearly the lucky thread!

And hello and welcome to naitimum - so sorry you've been through such a rotten few months, fingers crossed it's all postitive from here on

Also a quick wave to WestYorkshireGirl who was on the Jan 2011 thread I sadly had to abandon - fingers crossed for your scan my lovely x

Hopefully · 22/06/2010 20:05

Naitmum lovely to have you join us, sorry you've been through such an appalling time of it.

I am on total RTD-watch - keep dashing to the toilet to check. Am not going to waste one of my tests as it will probably come tomorrow, but on the very slim chance it doesn't, I'll test on Thursday I think.

randomimposter · 22/06/2010 20:06

thanks for such luverly wishes.... can't quite believe it, and have never felt so neutral about a BFP. Am 4+1 which is bloody nothing. It feels like a terribly long way to go and I don't feel that optimistic about it tbh. Not helped by remembering that at my age after 2MCs the chances of a successful pg are only about 52%.

Anyhoo you've got to be in it to win it, what'll be will be and other cliches.

Welcome to naitimum; sorry you're here but it's a great place to be.

Thanks bunder for the reassurance. Mine was a superdrug test; have another which will save for the weekend and see if line gets stronger. Having tummy twinges as we speak which can be good. Or bad. Or constipation .

PS is it odd that the second person (after me) to know in RL was my acupuncturist, and that I haven't even told DP yet...

aly323 · 22/06/2010 21:13

I haven't been on here for awhile and just thought I would pop on for a quick catch up. I had no clue that I would find so many BFP's. Congratulations to Muser Muser and Jolls!! what excellent news! I completely understand the reluctance of some to get excited, but is it ok if everyone else gets excited for you? Cause I am!

I hope there will be even more good news on here soon. It's always nice to see BFP's, but it's especially nice to see them on here.

Cheepz · 22/06/2010 22:38

jeepers - there have been 292 posts since i last logged on... and now I know why

rah rah rah for jolls - back to the grads thread for you me lovely - I am sure you won't be back again this time - noone has had to come back twice - you, me, barren, boo and lee all 1 time but look at boo and lee they are both round and bloomin now - and you will be too xxxxxxx

muser congrats to you too lovely - you should go hang out - there is plenty of support and theres more on their list than ours which is grand

bunder totally missed yours so sorry was offline but congrats to you too

barrenb our time will come!!

now jolls i graduated 1 month behind you last time, I mc'd one month behind you to come back, I am cd26 so about to start new cycle - maybe I should try - there might be some kind of kismet going on ... but its a cycle too early for the new job .... oooooo tempted

LadyBee · 22/06/2010 22:57

Wow! is that the double or a trifecta? What amazing news Muser and Jollster - strength of line is not important at such an early stage, what matter is that it's a positive. Oh I'm so thrilled for you all

Still no RTD here... Am now wondering if I did OV on CD18 when I had that random bit of EWCM. Which is annoying as we didn't bother to SWI as I had appalling heartburn. Definitely temping and/or ordering CBFM as soon as RTD arrives.

Am, of course, still clinging to the teeny weeny chance that I could be PG, but have not a symptom to be seen, and have my usual pre-RTD symptoms, including achey legs etc. Will POAS tomorrow if no RTD, but suspect I am setting myself up for disappointment.

barrenbrook · 23/06/2010 08:03

Oh my God!!! muser and jolls congratulations!!!!!! Chuffed to bloody bits for you both, what lovely news, it's made me well up!

naitimum welcome, sorry you are here but you're in the right place, we're a good bunch.

cheepz we WILL be next!!!!

BPF - WTF! Sorry ladies!!! You know what I mean!

VivClicquot · 23/06/2010 08:37

Crikey, can't believe the flood of BFPs! What lovely news to check in to. Congrats to B, jollster and muser.

jolls - cheepz is right - I'm another who left once only to return soon after, but nobody's returned twice so I'd take heart in that, lovely.

Hi to everyone else. Portugal is still bloody hot but i'm nervously up early before the football.

7 or 8 dpo. Ov happened the day after I'd had a 24hr D&V bug and the day before it struck DP. That made our illicit SWI interesting, I can tell you...

Anyway here's to more positives before I get home on Saturday.

Love V xx

BunnyBaby · 23/06/2010 10:58

Congratulations to BUnder Jollster and Muser!

Just popping my head round the door to wave hello and sprinkle strong bean and baby dust.

Some may remember I had touching a MMC at 11+2 which we found out about at 12 week scan in Jan.

Was thrilled to get BFP in April. And naturally was a little nervous going for scan this morning, but all was well we have a strong, healthy, busy baby in there.

To our surprise I am 13+4 not 12+5 so now due on Christmas Day. However DS1 was a whopping 17 days late so I am not expecting anything to happen before the Epiphany on the 6th Jan. Ha ha!

At least I feel less guilty about porking out!

Just want to wave a little flag that I've made it past 12 weeks. Especially as last time was so close, yet so far. I am looking forwards to getting further and further down the list.

Lots of love BBxxx
