BESH is BACK for Spring. Come in, admire the cocktail bar stylings I have created for you. It's all lowlights and smooth sounds, and there's a rehearsal room in back for the GLEE practice.

The barman are beautiful, the Pit has been well stocked with beanbags and gin. So roll up all you 30-something BESHies who stopped counting cycles sometime in the last century, and grab a martini.

'lo Laydeeeeezzz

Belatedly dropping into the new palace to give big love and gropes to yers all. Have been in full lurk mode at as I haz Nothing Of Interest To Say. But will stop being a wallflower and try harder to be as fabulously witty and luscious as you all are

Scorpette · 21/05/2010 09:38

I hate Ronan Keating - even if he does look like a much blander, less-sexy version of TYF* - and couldn't care less. I do feel sorry for his wife, however. Wonder if it's connected to grief over Stephen Gately? In more sleb nooz, John Travolta's wife is preggo at 47! The advice for losing a child has always been to have another child.

TheBangles, I cannae eat squirty cream, you big teaser. I also don't go to a weight loss club nor nuffink, I just sit around moaning about being a bit chubs until I'm too depressed to go to the gym And leave those squirrels alone! I love squirrels And not just one once attacked my Ex and left him bloodied and scarred [evil emoticon] In comparison, squirrels will run up to TYF and let him feed and stroke them, like he's Snow Bleedin' White or summink.

LoubyLou, I dunno about signs but I blahdy hope it is one. Does sound promising. Win! Win! Win! Win!

My cold has practically gone! Needles Lady, you're my hero (said in manner of Cameron Fry). Am not freaking out about Lap anymore (ask me again about my feelings on Sunday night!) and just want to get it over and done with. Once they've done that, it's the most sophisticated thing they can do to check on my fertility and things can really start moving properly after I know what, if anything, they find. Onwards and upwards, BESHes!

*Although I joke about him looking like Shaggy (he does), TYF is white-hot gorgeous. Can anyone tell I heart ma man yet?

Scorpette · 21/05/2010 09:43

Oooh, didn't realise Keating had been cheating. I hate the smug, talentless git even more now!

PS Sextuplets - ouch.

PollyPoo · 21/05/2010 09:50

Morning laydeez. Ooh sambucas... nice way to start the day! Thanks WeeWee. Camelina thank you my darling. Yes it does make it feel a bit more real. The Fear has subsided now and I am in full-on placenta head mode now, so nothing matters anymore. Except you lovely lot of course. I hope you don't mind me skulking around in here - it's very homely and I really care about yous lot and want you all to get duffed asap. June baybees a go go! LovelyHumpy have you got date for your IVF yet? Sorry if I have missed that... was so much to catch up on after hols.

Medee I am keeping everything crossed for ya, I really hope it is implantation.

Scorps if you make it to Brizzle I will come meet you too if you want?

Muse That sucks.

Lozza that is some impressive SWI. I'd probably have cystitis by now after all that.

Scorpette · 21/05/2010 09:56

PolPot, it hadn't even occurred to me that you wouldn't come if I visited Briz, ya daft bint

Muse

PollyPoo · 21/05/2010 10:09

Ta Scorps

Meant to say, Alice have a great weekend away and I really hope you get some piss sticks with the correct result on.

Ariesgirl · 21/05/2010 10:12

47???????? There's hope, there's hope....

I am envisioning you Headcase - now remember what I said about juggling balls

Lozza - am kind of envious of your shag marathon because it indicates your OH is as into the same thing as you are. Am starting to feel as though I have to be a good girl all day and guess his every move in order to Get The Sex. I can't win - if I do jump him it's only because I want a baby, not him and if I don't jump him I don't want him either. Am very . Why are men such twats?

Scorpette · 21/05/2010 10:16

Because they're men? Tell him it is possible for you to fancy him and want to hopefully make a baybee - point out that the two are not mutually exclusive but are a sort of BOGOF offer

PollyPoo · 21/05/2010 10:18

Aries me and TG had the same problem - he felt I only wanted the secs when I was fertile. If I didn't instigate it, I was expecting him to (which he thought was unfair seeing it was mostly me wot wanted a baybee), and if I did jump him, I was only after his sperm. Couldn't win! Thank fuck I never have to do that again....

laurielou · 21/05/2010 10:24

Oh aries I know what you mean. Although I (hopefully we) still enjoy The Secks, it has become a bit more timetabled.

If I'm honest though the boyf has always wanted a baybee more than me, so is happy to go along with whatever we need to do. He's a business analyst (or some such shite) & just likes facts. So I've told him - "fact - you need to shag me every other day during FFJ time". So now I just remind him "you had last night off, so you know what tonight is" in what hopefully is not too menacing a manner.

Although yesterday I said I was confuzzled coz seemed to be OV (I don't tell him the FFJ details) so maybe we should SWI to be on the safe side. He'd assumed we would as it was the every other day. I just looked at him as if he was stoopid & said "No, once I've ovulated you can f*ck off".

Ah, the romance of it all.

Headbanger · 21/05/2010 10:32

I hear you on Teh Secks thing Aries, though from a differenct perspective. My OM doesn't really want it much. Makes me v. and is why I joined the BESHes first off. I have patches of real anguish and then of course the anguish hardly helps. Nothing like making a woman with zero self-esteem about her appearance feel sexless, is there? However since that is literally the lad's only failing (he honestly is the dearest, funniest, most lovely darling of my own soul and apple of my eye) I put up with it. I can't promise not to go and jump the nearest silver fox of a barrister that offers though. What?! I'm joking!

DollyGumbo · 21/05/2010 12:53

Hey there Beshies ? lurker here ? had to pop in with some info for Scorpette!

I was about to join your chat last year but then discovered we?d need IVF for my unco-operative wombular region and fella's two-headed jizz! ICSI failed so we?re lining up for another go in August but I had a scan with a different hospital recently and wanted to pass on some info for Scorpette and other serious droid pain suffererers (like myself!)

I have major cramps with the droid, getting much worse over the last few years, and a fairly light two day bleed, but horrendous spotting, sometimes starting from 4dpo?I have a 15 day LP so spotting for 10 days before the droid is not much fun, and according to fertility docs is likely to expel any egg that we may have miraculously managed to fertilize!

Anyway the sonographer said I may have ?adenomyosis? because I had a 'boggy'(!) uterus, which was a new one to me. But, after researching on that there Google I can see why she said it. Scorpette, it may well be an issue for you too.

Articles I?ve read said it doesn?t affect fertility, but may cause early miscarriage, and can only be diagnosed by hysterectomy! It can be treated by hormones like the pill, which kinda defeats the object for Beshies, but I?ve found that by using progesterone pessaries in the LP it keeps the spotting at bay (Lovely private fertility doc gave me prescription for them after ICSI failure so that we could keep trying naturally until next treatment)

Sorry to ramble but our experiences are pretty similar and couldn?t help thinking the info might help you while you?re being investigated.
Will quietly back out of the room now, before you have a chance to call the stalking police!
Good luck with everything, and dead legs all round!
Dolly

laurielou · 21/05/2010 13:52

I've just been out for lunch with a sailor. He treated me to a huge slab of chocolate cake, whilst sitting in the sun down Cardiff Bay.

Then we saw the rather tasty Welsh rugby player Mike Phillips.

Ah, this job ain't all bad

Headbanger · 21/05/2010 14:02

Anyone seen this?! The OP is without exception the foulest person I have ever seen on Mumsnet.

EggsandBacon · 21/05/2010 15:11

Headbanger, your posts on that loon's thread have been quality. I've quite enjoyed the whole shebang, mostly because it brought out the best sarcasm I've seen on Mumsnet. You should invite her over to this thread for a laugh.

laurielou · 21/05/2010 15:18

Wow, she's a real peach, isn't she?

Headbanger · 21/05/2010 15:19

Allo EggyPeggy. Stalk away! Christ but she is disgusting. I need a shower just thinking about it. If only you knew the restraint I was showing in not joining in the whole 'my academic willy is longer and bigger and more painfully penetrative than yours' debate .

EggsandBacon · 21/05/2010 15:26

If it wasn't her amazing academic prowess, it would be "my hubby is better than your hubby". In fact, I haven't looked back at the thread for 5mins so perhaps she's moved on to that now.

Headbanger · 21/05/2010 15:31

I think I might have gone too far

EggsandBacon · 21/05/2010 15:44

NOT FAR ENOUGH.

ginhag · 21/05/2010 16:05

She made me cry so I ran away

and I think the droid approacheth. Which makes the fact that I pissed on a stick this morning fucking hilarious.

'lo eggster by the way. I'm all about the 'mememe' today, pleased to meet you.

head pleeeease don't let anyone you are arguing with into the palace,we've been there before and it's horrible. Are the bouncers at their posts?

RunLyraRun · 21/05/2010 16:06

She's upset our Ginny - lemme at her lemme at her . I've only read OP and last couple of pages - but OP did NOT ring true to me - she's definitely a journotrollnutjob.

Ooh and we have fans/stalkers DollyGumbo, you must have been mega-lurking, as you speak almost fluent BESH!

SomethingSuitablyWitty · 21/05/2010 16:08

Hello all! I have been lured back out of lurkage by Head's delightful posts over on that mad LittleAmy thread. It is actually crazy isn't it? It keeps lurching on into new and ever more troubled waters. It's been fun. In no small part due to you my dear head - you have brightened my otherwise boring Friday afternoon!

Fingers crossed for Alice and Medee! And all the rest of course! scorps hope the lap is helpful - I'm sure it will be.

....

RunLyraRun · 21/05/2010 16:09

Gin, Max and Paddy are on a fag break but I boxed for 5 years so reckon I can take one horrid troll

Headbanger · 21/05/2010 16:12

Gin, I am so fucking furious on your behalf it's not true (and another pal who read it and was furious). I believe I got so angry I referred to you as my homie. Sorry about that.

If arguers come anywhere near this thread I will rip their vacuous, preening little heads off and shit in the cavity.
