Went to the hospital for a scan today - at the radiology reception handed over my form which just said 'scan' - fella asked what kind of scan it was and I said 12 week pregnancy scan. He then asked me to write my date of birth down, put it into the computer, looked up and said 'male or female?' I was like 'what, me? Err, I'm female' WTF???!!! For one thing I was standing right in front of him, for another I'd just asked for a 12 week pregnancy scan!! Mind is still boggling...

Incidentally,mr gin and I decided last night that we are going to actually try and finish doing our house up this year. We have this crazy idea that the bathroom might actually look better with an actual entire floor rather than ripped up floorboards all round the loo...

Not sure how to answer that...the Boyf and I have not had much of an emotional response this time...even though friends have burst into tears! The response on here has been mindblowing though...it's been so great as my natural response is to try to push down the excitement, and I am reluctant to tell anyone in RL for a little while, so BESHchums make it feel real and , just like it should.
