We have 2 options for outfits for DD. A 100 year old handmade long white gown from DH's family, that is lovely but tiny. she tried it on 3 weeks ago and it didn't have a lot of spare room in it and she's growing lots all the time. Or we've bought a white dress from Mothercare as a back up. DH's family are very keen for DD to wear the old dress but I don't want her to be uncomfortable if its too tight. Also she's so going to poo all over it!! I'm wearing my PJ's - nothing fits me!

Neeko DD still won't take a bottle, we've given up. DH is never around to give her a bottle anyway so it wouldn't achieve anything, I can't go out as have no babysitter! I have just bought a cupfeeder bottle gadget thingy to try (medela softcup feeder) I'll let you know how I get on.

You went looking for me? Awww you are too nice, all of you. I feel even more super guilty I havent kept up with it all lately now. My friends know that I am well know for not using my mobile phone (not even keeping it turned on) unless I am stuck somewhere. My facebook page hasnt been looked at or updated for god knows how long. BUT I do check msn quite alot and I check my emails a few times a week. I am just not that into this whole being on the internet all the time thing. Or I get sucked in and end up being on it for hours on end!!

Gracie can't dd wear the posh gown for a bit then change into something a little more comfortable? (if you're having a 'do' after) That's what my goddaughter did at her baptism...put on a cute and comfortable party dress after (well obviously her Mum put it on for her )

Night night all. We are taking little Jack to Ripley railway station on Weds to meet a real live Thomas the tank engine, and he is SO excited. Not as excited as me to see his ickle face though!

Off to soft play tomorrow with other members of the family and their kids. We've only been once before when Saara was 5 months, but as now she's crawling (at very high speed sometimes!) and constantly standing up whilst holding onto things, I think she'll be able to have a bit more fun this time round! Wish me luck

I dont know whether to be excited or not Sabs...

Still no period today, and no suspicious period cramps either. I felt sick last night and this morning I feel gassy again and I think I am way too hot.. must be a hot flush or something... ooo-ecky-thump.
Took another TESCO home preg test this morning and still nothing. It's gone on the window sill with the other one. AND NOW I am halucinating lines on them as I squint at them closely when I pass the window. If I screw up my face really tight I swear there is the ghost of a wisp of a thick purple line... ....

Cupcake hope the sweep manages to get things shifting. Was it at home again? I don't think they can force an induction on you - they can't make you do anything that you don't want to do.

Waves to anyone I've missed. My only news is I went to the docs this morning & now have bronchitis.

Well, now I am even more down in the dumps!
Basically nothing has changed since Sat, cervix still really posterior, baby's head still presenting at odd angle despite miles of walking this weekend on my poor feet
Midwife said to prepare myself as this will not be a quick or easy labour

I said again how keen I was to avoid induction so she was really good and rang the consultant midwife to ask for me to be monitored. Going in this afternoon for scan and CTG then will discuss my options. I am absolutely gutted and envisioning a horrible long process now with masses of monitoring and intervention. I could tell mw was quite gutted for me too she said I was one of her star girls knowing exactly what I wanted and having a good birth plan, done the classes, all ready for hospital etc and then I'm not going to get the birth I want... but I guess I just have to get over that or pray for a miracle.

Sorry to be so mememe but just feeling very sorry for myself.

well i took jack to emergency Docs on sunday after phoning NHS direct i dont not why i bothered i know more than them as a a+e nurse . the nurse told me off for giving him paracetamol because he isnt 3 months he is 3 months today . i did tell them he had a temp and i was a nurse .got to docs and he told me it was colic and indigestion errr he was choking and gasping for air i think not he gave me a persription gaviscon and told me to got to normal gp today.i was so annoyed as he didnt look in his mouth or listen to his chest .

seen by normal GP today was really nice he has a upper airway infection its just pararcetomol and saline nasal drops . i go back on thurs for a check up im glad my gp is keeping a close eye on him .

sorry about me post just needed a rant about drs and nhs direct lol

Cupcake ARGH! Poor you!! To be honest, if I was you right now honey, I'd be asking for a booking to go in for a c-section. Because I a coward and a wimp. Just think of it this way though. We all spend AGES trying to get pregnant, saying how much we'll love baby growing inside us. Then we get fat and hate every moment of it. Try to relax and enjoy your last hours of elephantine fun. But try not to stomp around too much on those poor sore feet of yours? Cuddles.

Still no period. I REALLY REALLY WANT to be PREGNANT!!!! ARGH!
