Evap lines & faint bfp's are slightly different. Evap lines are like a ghost of a line that you can see if you look at the stick in bright light. A faint bfp is the same colour as the test line but is undeniably there. Because I used to do them over a number of days each month, I'd keep them on the windowsill in the bedroom & compare the darkness of the line with the line from the day before - see I am a complete madzer!

P.S. Have you raided the bin yet???

Ok two first responce tests are on their way to me. It says they are so sensitive you can test up to 6 days earlier than your missed period. Thats pretty impressive. I am so excited and impatient NOW!!! Thanks so much for the idea

I hope it is a bfp for you, fingers crossed. And just for the record i got a bfp only a few days past ovulating on a cheap brand... Nice you see you back by the way.

blue glad you had a fab birthday and night out, and thanks for the comment on Devons swim suit, tis very cute though! We are taking her swimming this afternoon for the first time, thankgod (sorry again cupcake ) that the swim float is massive, i can hide my flabby bits behind it...just hope i remember my bikini bottoms this time!

neeko i feel your pain re the bottle, Devon used to take it no probs and then suddenly decided against it. Last night i expressed 4 0z and locked busied myself in the kitchen with the microwave, dishwasher, radio etc on while my mum forced fed patiently tried her with the bottle. 20 mins later and 3 oz were gone ...i then gave her mummy time as we do before bed and even managed to get the last oz down her! Is there anyone who can give her a bottle for you? My mum is giving her a bottle during the day (so we dont disrupt) the night routine and hopefully during the remaining 5 days we can crack this. The good thing is because she drank so much she went from 7pm to 2.30am...and even self settled after minimum shh/ patting

Hi girls..I'm still pregnant!! (From now on let's just assume I will be forever!!) 40+12 My parents, sister and sister's boyfriend are coming to visit today anyway to keep us company which is nice
Another sweep tomorrow.. if nothing I'm actually going to ask to put the induction back to Friday. Just desperately want to give this baby as much chance as possible to come naturally. I so want to avoid as much intervention as I can.
Did yet more crying at my Mum yesterday cos I feel like I'm letting everyone down as they can't visit during their week off just hoping dh's original prediction of June 1st was right!

Hello ladies, just popping on quickly as i have a hangover after my birthday festivities, well its a special birthday after all, im 40 tomorrow-thats a good day to have your baby cupcake
Had a fab weekend in Edinburgh with my girlfriends. My boys missed me though, soon as i got through the door Ellis held his arms out to me, and when i picked him up he was hugging my face and grinning away at me, I really missed them too.

I will test again Weds. And each day after. I will see this as a scientific experiment.
I have another tesco one left if the First Response ones arent here by then. Have decided to remain positive that nothing is wrong and that I am pregnant normally. I shall leave all tests in the window sill as a homage to you lot. And whatever happens, shout horray or cry my tiny ickle heart out, I'll keep you all posted.
