Ajay still isn't sleeping through, I've read that he should be by now and not be waking up for a feed, but he has atleast one bottle a night most nights. It's funny though I'm used to the lack of sleep now. DS1 started to sleep through at 16 weeks, so there's hope for D yet

you know what..im really not bothered about routines etc, life is too short. As long as she is happy then i guess im doing ok!

Here here, I'm right there with you on the routine front. I have tried to get Ajay into one, but he's having none of it, but he's a happy little bundle, so that's fine by me.

Barbie that pic was so funny! On the subject of sleeping through, some babies just do & some just don't. I can't remember when my dd started sleeping though but I think she was over a year old. Even now she wakes in the night, several nights a week but thankfully I just go in & stroke her head or tuck her in & tell her to go back to sleep & she usually does. A friend of mine has two dd's & they were both sleeping through by seven weeks .

I'm getting even more excited about the three impending births now! You are all so close ladies!

Vjay your birth story with ds1 sounds scarily long. It reminds me of that woman who was on One Born who took about three days from being induced to giving birth.

4ever I hope you & dh had a lovely long lie-in this morning as that won't be happening again for a LONG time!!!

Well nothing here to report, went to Legoland in Windsor yesterday which was fantastic - I think we are going to buy an annual pass! When I asked dd yesterday what we should call the baby she replied "Ummmmm, the Prime Minister"!

Barbie - at girl who has 10.5 months between bairns and c-section - eeuugh. I was bad enough about mine being reopened at 3.5 years down the line. BTW although boys are textbook DS1 didn't sleep through until 16 weeks and he was on bottle by then and as for this one

Vjay - so glad Ajay's birth made up for trauma of Cjay's although the end result makes it all go away

Sabs - lovely long post form you . Saara sounds like quite a girl . We don't get an 8 month check up here, only if you request one. I see HV every week at BF support group so can bring things up on an ad hoc basis.

4ever - at you getting full brazilian - your pain threshold must be amazing, hell giving birth will be a dadle compared. Mine is the exact opposite of a brazilian at the moment . Not long lovely xx keep bouncing!

MLS - so of you going to Lego land. My DS1 would expire with happiness if we went there. In fact think him and DH are going to try and go later this year, but I'd really like to go too . LOL at your DD's suggestion

Buddha - lovely to hear from you and yay! to you only working 4 days and having family to look after E. We do mixture too, DS1 at nursery every Friday and with Gran/Granny on other two days. LOL at your fb status - have you sobered up yet?

I'm waiting for four births cupake, LBM and 4ever on here and my now-6-day-late SIL - I can't take the excitement!!!

Operation boob to bottle is not going well . I make up a fresh 2oz bottle and present at every feed but having limited success. Just need to persevere but not packing boobs away into my agent provocater undies just yet..

And sadly, I didn't make it to the pool but DH did manage some cigar burning under duress, I have to add. He was quite up for it untill the time came to start and then decided that it was a rubbish idea and it stank! He did persevere though and although babybelle did wriggle a lot, I don't think she turned.
Ah, well off the the hospital tomorrow for the CRV - sounds like a car but is actually the turny thing. The kids are hoping that the baby doesn't like it and they have to do the section tomorrow. I'm hoping that isn't the case!

Will keep you posted and will text if anything develops - think I have Neekos number in my phone . Otherwise, I'll be back on tomorrow for personals - night night!

Once again the weebles wide awake... Have been googling positive induction stories to try & make me feel better..! There are actually quite alot out there as opposed to influx of scare stories everyone seems desperate to share about 3 days of hell of drugs not working, resulting in instrumental delivery or c sections! Why does everyone wanna scare you half to death when imminent birth is approaching with horror stories & tales of doom about how hard being a new mum is?! I honestly feel blessed to finally have this chance after nearly 3yrs! After losing our 1st baby after our honeymoon & wondering if id ever even get to be a mum i dont care what i go through to give birth so long as she & i come out healthy.. My only fear is that we wont, not pain, sections or duration, just fear of complications or something going wrong after this bloody long painful journey to get here, i just couldnt bear the thought & am still too scared to truly dare to believe this is all real til she is in my arms.. Also been reading the thread about 'older mums' which at 35 i apparently will be.. Never mind the fact i came off the pill on my 32nd birthday! Just feelin like this has been such a long hard road & the end is nearly in sight but so scared to be complacent... I will never forget my 4 angel babies & have spent this preg hoping they are looking down protecting their little sister, as well as feeling guilty it took me all that time to find the cause & the cure for the mc's... Its a right old mixed bag of emotions for me right now, im just tryin desperately to be positive, not to weeble like, but completly holding onto the gratitude to god that we might just be getting our biggest prayer answered & finally becoming parents.. I really pray so & am still so scared of things going wrong.. It makes me p'd off that the most basic human & animal function is give birth & procreate yet for some of us its been the hardest thing in the world & most immense pain of it maybe not happening.
Just gotta remain 4everhopeful eh?!

Mornin Neeko! Well done for gettin thru the marking, nearly there! Thanks for your wise words hon, bit now, my fault for googling too much & listening to well meaning in laws & friends scary tales! So long as our girl arrives safe & sound i dont care about how she gets here! Sure Lbm is thinkin same thing right now! As i said to Cupcake im still holding out for the triple whammy! Also waitin on news from BIL gf due on 25th & Dh cousin 7days overdue!

4ever I will add to my scary birth story, the girl opposite me started to have contractions after her first pessary, and gave birth relativly quickly with only gas and air. Everyone is different, just take what you want from the stories and advice. I hope I didn't upset you, and am very sorry if I did. Just remember baby 4ever is nearly hear, and we are all so excited for you

blue sorry it's such a struggle moving from boob to bottle. Have you tried giving B a full bottle instead of boob at one of the feeds? Trying to not give him a choice.

4ever I know exactly what you mean about scare stoies! Everyone just loves to tell you your worst nightmare just before you're about to give birth...lovely! Everyone keeps laying the doom & gloom on me and dh and it's getting us down a bit really...anyone would think there's nothing at all nice about having a baby! I find myself breathing massive sighs of relief when someone actually says how cute/lovely/worth it their baby is & not that they wish they could give it back!! So excited for you this week lovely!

neeko massive congrats on getting through so much of the marking, especially as I bet you're doing it on virtually no sleep. I hope dh has bought you an ice cream or something to congratulate you
