cupcake, 4ever you are going to need to pull your fingers out if you want the hat trick as Babybelle is coming tomorrow.

Turning didn't work and was v uncomfortable and so, we are going down the section route. And they kindly booked us for tomorrow . So am now finishing of a few things in prepartion - my hyponobirth section CD has just arrived and so am going to listen to this.

It could be a while before i can post again and so - 4ever one word - epidural especially if/ when you go on the drip. It will be all worthwhile and any pain will fade the minute you hold your little girl.

Cupcake Same to you - you will be just fine. Try and relax and do what your body wants to do - the hynpobirthing breathing will really help and if nothing else will make you feel in control.

Hi to everyone else - Iggy and MLS if you want some raspberry leaf tea, let me know as I have loads I can't drink.

Love especially to monkey and mermaid - hope work hasn't been too bad Monkey and that you are both doing OK

LBM how exciting!!!!! I'm sorry she didn't turn in the end but IME elective sections are very calm experiences. Large pants needed to cover your scar and try and walk around as soon as you can. It definitely speeds up your recovery. Looking forward to hearing all about it when you get a chance.

Monkey I'm still at your so-called friend at not telling your work colleagues. Hope it went ok yesterday.

4ever and cupcake ignore the negativity about being a parent, the beginning can be hard, but only because you're sleep deprived, but it doesn't last forever, and the beautiful baby that you hold in your arms more than makes up for any lack of sleep

First day back went okay - managed to hold myself together admirably I thought until one of the kids' comments about my colleague having a baby made me cry. Out of the mouth of babes and all that... As I thought someone put their foot in it and was going on about people being pg. Felt sorry for her as she felt awful when I told her. So many people have been so lovely, even if they don't know what's happened. Got in the car after work and sobbed - there's only so many kisses, hugs and face strokes you can keep a brave face on for.

4ever and cupcake -getting ants in my pants now!! My SIL has been sent to hospital as 7 days OD and mw had "never seen anything like it" when she went for check up today - waters bulging and nearly 6cm dilated! She does not have standard first stages that's for sure!

i am of course a-lurking, i am always here cant seem to keep away

combination of family stuff and me feeling has stopped me from posting recently, any glimmer of hope i had seems to have now faded and its like i dont know where to go.

Moon been meaning to tell you, I have a calender in my bedroom of wood fairies, May is a gorgeous pic with the line 'Blue Moon Rising' i think of you every day when i look at it and have been really hoping it is a sign and this is your month, so glad i finally got to say so.. Lovely bump pic Cupcake. You definitely look like the kind of person who is going to 'ping' back into shape unlike me.

4ever like the others have said, having a baby is the hardest job you will ever do but it is the most rewarding. Yes it is bloody hard work (as everyone keeps reminding you!) but nothing comes close to the feeling you have when you are holding your baby & gazing into her eyes. You will wonder where all the love you are feeling has suddenly come from.

Neeko I think you are doing really well with your marking and ahead of schedule no less, you should be proud of yourself! I hope you have a better night tonight than last night.

Nothing much to report except that I really need to start doing my pelvic floor exercises as I nearly had a little accident today !

Have just heard my cousin in Australia who was due 22nd & a friend who was also due 19th (same as me) have both had their babies. Come on baby cupcake! Still only mild cramps developing into nothing. Off to meet the tiny twins of an NCT friend today

Nope, I don't know. I'd imagine that if it is a pre-planned c-section that she'd have to go in early & they would have told her not to eat anything from midnight?
