I'm back and trying to catch up - bear with me
monkey I'm glad you had so much support the other night and I'm sorry I wasn't around to give you a hug too. So here is one from me now and I hope things are feeling a bit brighter today (despite having to face PG women at the gynae appointment). Hope you get to go to the star garden soon and you have a nice few days away.
mermaid I did tell you I was drunk . Sorry for mixing up the boob flashing incident (and to barbie too). How are you doing?
4ever that's GREAT news. I can tell you are over the moon. Hope you have a very uneventful week next week and a nice restful weekend.
Vjay your DH sounds so thoughtful. What a lovely thing to do. Mine is absolutely useless at doing things like that. Still waiting for a birthday present and I can't even blame it on having chldren now because he was like it before Hope you had a better night sleep last night. Teething is a rotten phase.
QA I'm glad you're back . I'm glad your cycles are getting back to normal, at least you know that you can try when you decide its the right time for you to TTC again.
curly the bad days are normal. I think you just have to be aware of PND when you have more bad days than good. I remember having days when I felt so low when DTs were tiny but it was almost always related to lack of sleep. I still have days where I metaphorically want to kill them.
iggy woohoo for internet shopping. Are you bankrupt yet
cupcake I'm of anyone who can knit, let along booties which look complicated to me. Sounds like you are enjoying your maternity leave
Gracie that's a wonderful thing to do. DS2 was in SCBU for a few weeks after he was born and the really small babies could use the donated breast milk there but obviously there was a limited supply. Must have a peek at the pic of Isabelle when I get a chance.
blue I'm glad the christening went well. I've just a letter from the hospital chaplain about a similar service - held once a year. Its in a couple of weeks. It is a lovely thing to do, but I don't know if I will go. I'm not sure it will help me TBH.
Jools glad you are having a lovely holiday and I really love the sound of chocolate martinis
neeko and mls glad you had lovely meet up. Neeko - impressive weight gain from your milk monster
barbie sleep deprivation is a killer. I hope you are geting some more now.
LBM happy maternity leave . Chickpeas are also good for increasing iron levels (discovered when they put me on iron tablets after my ERPC).
Moon
Waves to pfj, hope you're ok.
DH has just informed me that the Liverpool game is going to extra time so I've got a bit longer to update with my news.
We've had a nice few days away - despite going to bed too late and being woken up too early by DTs who were about a foot away from our bed. My birthday was lovely and ILs babysat so that we could go out for dinner in Truro. Went to the beach yesterday and DTs had great fun running in and out of the sea which was freezing. It reminded me why we normally try and go somewhere hot.....
On the TTC front, still waiting for TEW and it is a few weeks away yet but (TMI) have DTD with DH without protection. I suspect he thinks I can't get PG yet because its too soon soon after ERPC (and he's probably right) but I think its a good sign and hopefully he may be changing his mind about TTC again.
Otherwise, we are starting to potty train DS1 tomorrow which I'm so not looking forward to. DS2 was trained last summer and he was hard enough - It was the week from hell. DS1 still has poos which are like a newborn (ok, perhaps not like gracie's isabelle but you get the drift....) Have got magnetic star chart, chocolate buttons, new big boy pants which he has chosen and lots of wine for us. Think my diet will be starting next week. Oh and I was supposed to be watching the debate whilst DH was watching the football but have been on here. Still have no idea who I'm going to vote for
