Hi im now on my 2ww,well only by 2 days and already im a space cadet.How will i get through this? Time was racing by before now its like a snail stuck in a glue pit!

Can I join? Am 9dpo. Had a smidgen of red spotting two days ago and nothing since. Not sure what it was as I'm reluctant to believe it was implantation. I wanted to wait till at least 12dpo before obsessing over every little sign.

Am convinced I have a 16 day luteal phase too so have another week to go till my period is due. And I don't want to test till I'm officially late as I like to hold onto the dream as long as possible.

So I have about a week of trying really hard to attribute symptoms (like the heavy cramping I've had over the last two nights) to normal hormonal symptoms.

It's awful isn't it? Part of me wants to believe that I am having symptoms, part is convinced that I am just fooling myself. I just hate the waiting. It was much easier last time, when I got pg by accident and didn't even test until 10 weeks!

Yes. It's a symptom, no it isn't. I don't want to get my hopes up but I don't want to completely dash them by looking at a bfn.

I had the exact same rollercoaster when ttc#1. Thought i'd managed to avoid this the second time round when the doc told me I was pg back in nov, but it didn't keep. Now I'm back to scrutinising every twinge just in case, because maybe it didn't stick last time because I wasn't paying enough attention (silly, but these are the irrational musings of a ttc'er).

You just feel so helpless don't you? Once the seed is sown so to speak it really is out of our hands, and I hate that. And I totally agree about not wanting to see a BFN - I never have (only 3rd cycle this time round, first time the line appeared while I was still peeing on it!), and so it is a real unknown, and I would like to avoid it if I can. But then I hear women on here saying they have got BFPs at around this point in their cycles and I get soooooo tempted

I nearly cracked today but nope stayed out of the chemist! I really really really wanna know tho!! Still cramping and was convinced AF had started this afternoon but apparently not. Still technically not due til Sunday tho so just gonna try not to think about it til then.

I will not test, I will not test.....

Thanks rosieposey, i'm not sure of the exact time when i ovulate but i don't think it's normal, always thought it was when i had EWCM but turns out that using an ovpk doesnt turn +tive til about 3 days after EWCM has been and gone! my CL used to be about 28/29 like i said last month was 27, but ive never been like clockwork.

Anyway im on CD26 so might go and pee on a stick now! DH reckons i should 'wait til late' but what does he know?!

oh gaawwwdd!! am biting knuckles.

Oh thats rubbish am sorry to hear that but its not over till you get AF remember. Chances are that you might but again chances are that you might not - just wait a couple of days and if still no AF perhaps try again.

Im dreading testing next week now. I had a dream that i took a hpt last night thats how much im looking forward to it. My DH kindly reminded me that i only have 15% chance but i suppose its better to look on the negative that way you wont be too disappointed - im going to try that anyway.

Somebody give me a virtual slap please.....i tested this morning!! what was i thinking? im only 6-7 pov
Of course i got a BFN and now im miserable even though i know its too early.
I have had dreadful headache since yesterday,im moody and keep getting AF type cramps even though they are fleeting and mild.Wouldnt be surprised now if i came on 7 days early

ragazza I think your DH and my DP are in the same frame of mind - but who wants to bloody wait!!! Sorry you got a -ve, I am STILL very patiently waiting! Only got 2 days to go until I'm late, but sure AF is approaching Fingers crossed for you that yours doesn't appear.

rosie How very nice of your DH to remind you of the facts!! But I'm a bit like you, would rather expect the worst outcome and then hopefully get a nice surprise when it does eventually happen! Fingers crossed for you too

And as for you totally I gave you my will-power yesterday!!!!! Maybe your little cramps are implantation????? When should AF be due??

Af not due for another week.Im so cross with myself as i wasted a test, as i was poas i was having a row with myself, saying' stop stop its to early' and the devil in me saying 'no go on it might be triplets, that would show up this early'

LOL @ TotallyFloaty! I won't virtually slap you tho but will say I hope you used an ebay cheapie rather than an expensive one!

I tested again this morning with FR, still BFN despite still feeling preggers. Gonna try to wait till Monday (I have the day off so can pig out on choccie if still a BFN) assuming AF hasn't arrived...

Really don't want to go onto the Dec bus as our family has SOOO many birthdays in Dec/Jan, which I know still might happen as if I conceived this month it would be due 28th Nov... But I want to have a little squishy baby for Christmas not be waiting for one. LOL I obviously have low blood sugar as i'm rambling like a mad woman!

Last period 19th March. I usually have a 26-28 day cycle. Today is CD 29. Have had sore boobs for over a week and really emotional. Only had sore boobs in my previous 2 pregnancies. Had AF cramps. Not getting excited as did preg test 2 days ago and BFN. No implantation bleed either, which I had around the time my period was due in previous pregs.

I swore I would not symptom spot because I was not really trying for a baby. I experienced both a neonatal loss and MC in the past year and so needed a break from pregnancy obsession. If I am preg, that would be wonderful!

Am 10dpo, light trace of brown in cm earlier. Oh well at least if period comes earlier than expected I can get on with the next cycle sooner.

Is anyone holding out for testing till next weekend?

I think I might be able to test next weekend eg 27th/28th March as woudl be CD 22/23 out of 27....but scared to - also bit early for me to symptom spot so right now feels like it wouldnt be worth it ):

Welcome sh77,sorry for your loss and really hope this is a good month for you.
Digital,i have not really ever had implantation bleeds but i did get mini periods when i was 8 and 12wks with my previous pregnancies, it was like my body knew my periods were due at that point and it was going to bleed baby or not.
Bit scary but ok.I also have to be scanned as early as possible as have had previous ectopic,so i spend first few weeks in a state of panic when preggers.

Can I join please? Am on 1dpo and my 1st proper 2ww. Have been off hte pill since Dec, but yesterday was the 1st time I've ov'd. Am already googling symptoms so that I can imagine them in the next week or so.

totally I also bled in my early pregnancy with ds. Was a bag of nerves till that 7 week scan.

No brown cm since earlier. So clearly I'm getting my hopes up even though I still have a week to go. Except drank too much coffee today when I thought period was imminent...I'm not very good at sticking to the rules till i see that bfp. I'll be scoffing pate and Stilton tomorrow if I'm not careful.

Well I have now moved on from symptom spottingto lack-of-symptom spotting! Spotting/whatever has stopped, so now wondering whether it might have been an implantation bleed after all. Gah! Am tempted to test, but I wouldn't believe a BFN and might not get a BFP so not much point.

Had another lunchtime appearance of the scantest trace of brown cm. But nothing since. Have also stopped cramping so I don't feel remotely pg. Not one iota.

No, due on Monday. Usually get this kind of spotting/brown cm/whatever you call it from 5 days before AF due until it arrives. This time it started a day early, as pale pink first, before turning brown, and it has now been stopped for almost 24 hrs. So the optimist in me says it could have been an implantation bleed, the realist says don't be silly.
