Ok, feel a bit scared actually starting the new thread but here we are, for however long (or short) our time here may be.

Off you go ladies. Welcome () one and all.

Hi all,
Like Zayja, I haven't been on here for ages, so feel very out of the loop! Zayja, special hello to you - I know what you mean, I think I became too obsessed with MNing and thinking about TTC over the past few months (then never actually got round to doing anything about it, by way of having sex!! ) Also, have had the most stressful month work wise, so haven't had time to MN much.

If I'm pregnant this month it will be a miracle - both DH and I have been working very long hours, drinking too much caffeine, and generally not looking after ourselves (oh, and only managed to have sex twice!).

Cheepz - lovely news - very pleased for you!

Barrenbrook - I'm right there with you on the scan thing. I've had 2 scans emailed to me recently - one from a close friend and one from SIL (who already has 2 beautiful DC's). Of course am happy for them, but it is so difficult not to get down about it too.

Hi to everyone else - sorry don't have time to go through all of the thread to namecheck everyone and see what I've missed out in, but hello anyway!

tigerbear · 09/03/2010 10:30

Mummy369- sorry to hear you're having a rubbish time at work. Sounds like they need lessons in empathy and sensitivity!

BunnyBaby · 09/03/2010 10:44

liahgen66 and mummy369 know exactly how you feel. My cycle still not normal and should be on mat leave at end of May due beg Aug. Makes it hard as desparare to be back in pregnant bubble again.

In my team at work, one just got preg on ivf, one has wife due when I would be, boss's partner due Sept. And another had baby 2 weeks ago.

I also had heavily pregnant friend due any day bombarding me with 'how ru?' text messages. Wanted to scream 'fxxk off you've never experienced this how dare you' but wrote back saying how excited I am for her, asking how her dc's are. Her mum even had the gumph to email my mum to offer condolences. Am I touchy or are some people too smug in their responses?

slimyak · 09/03/2010 10:51

Well Saturday saw the arrival of AF so a definite BFN for this month. At least it had the descency to turn up a day early and stop me waiting.

Slight change to my stats, could someone add my edit when they update?

TTC #2 ULC 26 Cycle 3 CD 4

Thank you muchly.

Right, too early for wine, early elevenses anyone?

I'm thinking, spring has sprung. SWI is almost compulsory at this time of year. Here's to a productive bout of Spring fever all round

MrsGazebo · 09/03/2010 13:12

Hello MrUnbuffy

Bunny you and I were due around the same time, I didn't realise we'd be going off work so soon.
I try not to think of things like that, it also helps that my memory is appalling

Boo about early AF slimyak Mummy369 sorry to hear you're having a shit time in work, they sound like right Twunts in power suits making decisions and disregarding feelings.

I'm only staying put in my job for the maternity package, which I should've been on at least 3 times by now and this chance seems to be slipping futher away.

Allthe8s · 09/03/2010 13:32

twunt - I like it.

BunnyBaby · 09/03/2010 13:52

Yes Mrs Gazebo we were due at similar time. I was going to finish at 7 mths to take extra care as worked to 38 weeks last time. Sigh- we'll have our babies soon.

Allthe8s · 09/03/2010 20:10

Hi ladies, my my it's quiet on here tonight! A n y b o d y t h e r e ? ? ? ? ?

randomimposter · 09/03/2010 21:04

oooo, it's like buses.... all at once or tumbleweed...
Allthe8s agree on Twunt... have heard it before, but is a truly great coagulation... hope you are jolly ce soir.

Oh and slimyak the thing I miss most about pre-children is lunchtime drinking. I used to think it was never too early for a glass of vino. God that makes me sound like a lush...

Today was a strange bonus day as was expected/ing to be in surgery. So did some retail therapy (for DS) instead...

Hi to all.

Gi1da · 09/03/2010 21:12

Just popping in, I'm no good company today. Just been weeping at Lamb Watch - how sad is that! No surprise then that I haven't gone anywhere near One Born Every Minute (But Still None in MY Nelly).

Hope everyone is doing ok wherever on this crazy rollercoaster they may be. Chink chink of wine glasses to you all x

and ps still at the sausage post!

Gi1da · 09/03/2010 21:16

Oops takes me ages to type on an iPod, thread always moves on before I catch up! Glad your day was ok Jollster

Pollyanna · 09/03/2010 21:25

I'm here too. stupidly watching One Born Every Minute - put myself through it every week, and sob throughout

also have definitely spotted that one of my team at work is pg. made me feel very miserable. and cross.

It's definitely a rollercoaster.

MrsGazebo · 09/03/2010 21:30

I really hope Mr.G doesn't decide to lurk on here, he'd kill me!
He's quite shy and private, but I'm sure he wouldn't mind the fact his sausage is keeping spirits up.

Hope everyone is well this evening, I'm torturing myself watching One Born Every Minute.
I have wine and we've been out for dinner.

randomimposter · 09/03/2010 21:30

pollyanna turn over please! We have QI on.... hence am attached to laptop

Gi1da am just impressed you can use this modern technology. I can read on my phone, but not post. Am sure it's possible, but user error....

randomimposter · 09/03/2010 21:31

Gaz what does "go out for dinner" mean....?

randomimposter · 09/03/2010 21:32

too much wine.... can I call you Gaz...? MrsG?

MrsGazebo · 09/03/2010 21:59

You can call me whatever you want Jolls
Can I call you Jolls?

After spending most of the day in my PJ's, doing very little,I met MrG on his way home and popped in our local for a nice med-rare Steak.

I may have sausage as well later

Moofold · 09/03/2010 22:32

Hi everyone. Not been on for a few days -- so much to catch up on so apologies for not namechecking and remembering who said what.

Does the MC just make you more conscious of it or is everyone pregnant or giving birth? I have 2 friends and 1 relative due within 3 weeks of what would have been my due date and have had 3 births and 3 announcements of pg since my MC in December from friends. Each one like a stab through the heart and makes me repeat inwardly that I just want my baby back.............

Anyone watching one born every minute is stronger than me (or a masochist!). I have also been trying not to keep track of how many weeks I should. Its hard not to, I know.

If anyone can give advice on what my body could be doing I would be very grateful. Anyone who can recall my tales of woe of WTF part 2 may recall my jubilation at getting dark(ish)second lines on OPKs followed by a little temp increase last week. I got over excited and thought i might have OV'd but since then have had LOADS of eggwhites and now temp back down. Peed on OPK tonight and its going dark again. What on earth is going on, can anyone relate to this madness and give me a clue?

Hope everyone is as good as can be expected and enjoying the posts from Mrs G!!

AlbaDeTamble · 10/03/2010 08:09

Good to have you back Mrs G, really crap what you're going through but you've helped lift my spirits... Missed your hilarious posts! I do hope you're not kept waiting long though. Why do tests always take ages to arrange and ages to be communicated back when the test itself is pretty quick? It's cruel torture by lack of administration speed.

Barrenbrook, no-one's called me a plonker since it was one of my father's favourite terms for me back when I was a teenager!

well and truly on the rollercoaster this week... Tears one minute, angry the next, then feeling stupid (screaming at DH when it isn't really deserved just when we need to start SWI... How dumb is that?)... But into the 'important' days now and have made up with DH, so I feel like I'm really doing something about moving on... Next week will probably crash again, or maybe tomorrow .

I'm struggling to keep up with all news, posting on phone so less easy to check back, but congrats to BFPs, great news, hope all goes well. Muser so sorry you're still in limbo land too, Jollster nice that you had a bonus day yesterday, what a fab way to think of it! You'll be off that WTTC list really soon now

Moofold have no idea.... Maybe you're ov'ing more than once and you'll end up with triplets?

Half way through the week all... Well, nearly. Onwards and upwards

AlbaDeTamble · 10/03/2010 08:17

Oops... How did that happen? Patchy reception on the train... Took 5 mins to refresh and there it is posted twice

cinnamonswirl · 10/03/2010 08:53

Good Morning Everyone, i was just loking through and thought i would write my first post, as you all sound so nice, and really related to the 'one born every minute' i cant watch it yet, but DH and i do torture ourselves with the discovery channel in the mornings watching ' student midwives and baby story' but some times it helps when i see the journeys that other TTC have been through and are being so positive.
My DH and I have been TTC for over a year and a half, i know in my head its still early days but with every cycle it so upsetting, and i can totaly understand the upset when close friends and sisters have beautiful babies, by 'accident' and concieve in what seams like 5 mins !!!

VivClicquot · 10/03/2010 09:03

Morning lovelies, and hi cinnamonswirl. Welcome, and sorry that you've found yourself here, but I can promise you with a name like that, you're going to fit right into our cake and wine club.

Nothing to report here. Day 4 after the lightest and shortest AF ever. Just ticking off the days until things start to get interesting again.

In food news, had a curry last night and am now feeling like the size of a small mansion with a granny annexe out back. So no cake or vino for me today.

Love to all xxx

Muser · 10/03/2010 09:12

Morning all. I'm now back at work, feels very weird after two weeks off. Only a few people there know about the ectopic, not sure what everyone else thinks.

I've another set of blood tests today. Hoping for another big drop in HCG levels. It's been 3 weeks since my treatment.

cinnamonswirl · 10/03/2010 09:26

Hi Viv Clicquot, thank you for makeing me feel welcome, i love wine and cake !! wahay !
i am on day 22 of a 23-30 day cycle, so am playing the waiting game, its a bummer being irregular, you get your hopes up each day over 23days.
curry, that sounds good, i am just doing my shopping list and now fancy a curry, am trying to loose weight so veg curry could be a fab dinner tnite. i do need to lose about a stone and a half, but its a good distraction from thinking about when, when , when are we going to have a baby,
but well meaning friends ddo say 'why bother, you will be really fat soon anyway!!!' how nice are they ??? lol
hope that your wait for it to get interesting isnt too long, can i ask what AF is?
