Cupcake hope you enjoyed your practice cuddle with the little 3 week old!
Vjay sorry you are in such a lot of pain, have you thought about getting depo injections that last for 3 months? I was on the injections for about 8 years - it seems madness that once upon a time I was actually trying to prevent myself from getting pregnant!
Neeko you'll have to post a pic of the cardie when it's finished. I'm still dabbling with the idea of having a go at something. Actually..... could you email that pattern to me please & I'll let you know if it means anything at all to me or if it is like a foreign language?!
Barbie at you having to swallow a wire & at you having to run on a treadmill! Don't they know you have just had a baby ffs??!
Blue ever so slightly at you sharing a train with a load of kilt wearing Scotsmen!
Annie I agree the getting changed/unchanged bit of swimming is a complete faff - you need about 6 hands!
Gracie you can never leave this thread as you are our resident matron & did a really good job on Sunday morning. For those who don't know, she actually texted me back with the number of two local epu's, all by about 7.30 in the morning!
Sabs I repeat - you are not being paranoid! If Saara rolls onto her front in the night & is more comfortable like that then leave her. Once they can roll over you can't stop them rolling into the position they like the best. One thing that always used to make me relax a bit was thinking that in every country of the world, the advice on sleeping position/heat of the room etc is different. In this country they say the room should be 16-19 degrees but surely an igloo in the Arctic or a mud hut in Africa would never be between these temperatures? I'm sure the advice from many countries is to lay babies on their backs or sides or have them propped up so try not to worry that you are not doing it properly.
4ever love the pics of your lo, I bet they are already framed & on your wall! It will be interesting to see how much like an actual pic of her they are once she is born.
Monkey glad you are feeling a bit better, yes 11 weeks is normal to start feeling better. My nausea has definitely decreased in the last week. When is your next scan?
Moon so happy to see you & I'm glad you are not going too far off the radar. It will happen for you soon, I just know it.
MrsKate love the pic of little Jack. It breaks your heart when you so want to breastfeed but can't doesn't it? It's what is best for your baby that is important.
Mermaid enjoy the skate park & the shit coffee!
Waves to Curly, Iggy, Jools, BQ & anyone else I might have forgotten.
I had to tell dd about the baby today as we were in a normal scan room (as opposed to epu scan room) with the monitor high up on the wall & when I said "Look that's the inside of Mummy's tummy", the sonographer said "Yes look there is the baby in Mummy's tummy"! Later on I asked her what she'd like to call the baby & she said "Dr Who" wtf???!
I'm offski as I have a thumping headache & my bed is calling loud & clear.
