vjay yes tis was me who had mirina coil....if i remember correctly i did had an uncomfortable tugging feeling around the time af should of come and once after sex i was told if you can feel anything to go back because they are prone to moving....hope its ok.

C sectioners can i ask a few questions???

I have hard lumps under the scar (more on the left side than right) im sure its just scar tissue but should i go to the doctors?

Also how long does the bleeding normally last for after c sectiion?

Did it ever feel like they had stitched you up too tight? by this i mean sometimes it feels like a pull on the scar like the skin has been stretched.

When can i go swimming?

I am that i didnt get ny after care advice from the hospital.

Last night i was finally brave enough to have a good look after peeling of the paper stitched and doing a little gardening down there

Its not too bad, infact its quite small considering a baby came out of it!

blue i hate coconut ... silly question but does the chocolate salty balls taste very coconutty? I really want to make some.

Oh and anyone bought the pebble maxi cosi car seat and the family fix base? Just had a call to take it back to the store as they are recalling the bases not sure why but seems silly as i have to drive down there using the base???
And yes you can drive any time after c section over here...crazy crazy country!

Barbie you are not lifting stuff are you, not stretching too high etc I am sure you really are meant to take it super easy after a c section. I think there are lots of muscles that have to knit and mend.
That is an incredible weight gain you are both doing so well

vjay oh the things we know about each other how did they manage to fit one of those? My dr gave up cos of my retroverted watsit.

Hi barbie,

Feeling a bit better again today. I had hard lumps in my tummy around the area under my c-section scar for what seemed like AGES. So sorry to tell you this, but it will take a few months for them to dissolve, so you are best off forgetting about them and trying not to let them bother you. I bled on and off for a week or so, check with the hospital on that one. As for the tight pains in your stitches, this you can expect as the stitches begin to dissolve and move around. However I had a few stitches with large knots in and in the end I got my GP to have a look and pull the last bits out because they were poking me badly and they seemed to refuse to dissolve. I am getting sharp pulling pains around the stitches from my fallopian tube removal right now as well, if it makes you feel any better? Bloody hurts. Sympathy for you. Hope that helps.

pfj Im sorry that you are in pain today Thanks for your reponse re c-section. I thought as much about the lumpy bits, im one of those people who will keep touching the scar to see if anything has changed i will do my best to forget about it
I hope you are at home and resting, do you have to go back to hospital for any futher test or anything? Im glad you are sticking with us, it really is a funny kinda place Where else can you get a chocolate balls recipe, learn about fanjo gems and still get the support you need???

mermaid me, lifting? never! Oh ok maybe i have been overdoing it a little, the thing is i feel so well that i forget its classed as a 'major operation' I hope i havent done any damage i will sit down and rest with feet up and some haribo's (subtitute for mini eggs, dubai style)

Barbie I agree with Mermaid take it easy lady, or we'll pinch your Barbiemobile and come and sort you out! Think it'll take a while for your scar to settle down but you should contact the doc if at all concerned.

Glad I was able to help Barbie. Feels good to contribute.

I am due a (hopefully) final blood test on Friday to check my pregnancy hormone levels have dropped correctly. I no longer have sore boobs/bloatedness etc etc. so I think they should have virtually disappeared which means I can get on with waiting for my cycle to get back to normal... which means I can then plan to try again for LO number 2. I really want another baby, and I am very optimistic about my chances, even if I am officially just a 'lefty' now!!

Since everyone is having a go, can I try too?
