Fantastic news MLS - just great . Is that you 9 weeks now?

Moon the digi one goes up to 4 weeks + on display (i.e. it goes 1-2/2-3/4 weeks+). As Vjay says you don't have to tell your DF until you know one way or the other... You need to know for your sanity.

So Chocolate Ball recipe. It has garnered many fans over the years I've made it for every fete/baking stall plus girlie favours at my wedding

The quantities I'm giving can be doubled up if you want to make big batch. The underneath should make @ 10 cupcake case size balls or 20 smaller truffle cases

10 digestive biscuits
5 level tablespoons Kraft Cadbury's drinking chocolate
5 level tablespoons desicated coconut
2oz butter
1 standard tin of condensed milk
1 tub of vermerseli/chocolate strands

1. Put biscuits into freezer bag and crush with rolling pin until finely ground, tip into bowl

1. add drinking chcolate and coconut into bowl

1. melt butter and add to bowl, mix well

1. slowly add condensed milk, you WON'T need all the tin just enough to make mixture sticky enough to roll. Drinking remainder of tin yourself is optional

1. Use tablespoon to scoop out mixture, roll into ball in hands, roll in vermeseli and pop into case.

1. Leave in fridge overnight. They really are best when they have been refridgerated

1. Enjoy and look out for vermeseli strands left all over house

Moon a friend of mine didn't find out she was pregnant until she was FIVE months gone! Please don't just ignore it... none of us could stand the suspense ! Thanks for all of your thoughts & good wishes today, I can't tell you how relieved I am. I thought the doctor was a bit mean though as when I went in & she asked how I was doing I was really bubbly & positive. She then said "Well that's the problem with taking progesterone you could actually mc but won't bleed so we won't know until we've done the scan" - what a cow! Then I asked if I could relax & breathe a bit easier now & she said "Well people do mc after 9 weeks, you'd have to be very unlucky though", wtf??! She said that instead of laying down, the baby was sitting up 'like a little priest' & eventually it started waving it's little paddle hands & feet about, ! Anyway my dates now just about match my calculations, I make it 9+2 & the scan says 9+3. Next scan is the 12 week one in three weeks time.

Vjay [jay heeheehee!] I can't answer your coil question, you are very brave as the thought of having one fitted makes me feel icky. They do give you heavier af though don't they so you'd imagine you'd get more pelvic pain?

The scanner lady does sound such a mean cow, some people!!!there was no need for her comments, you need positive reassurances not negativity. Don't worry you'll get nothing but positivity over here

My friend who had the prem baby was down today. He's doing really well and is aprox 7lbs. She had a baby brain momenta nd left the base of her pram in the supemarket car park! Has it back now though but meant her lo had to try out my baby's buggy so we could pick up DD from nursery. He seemed very comfy in it though so should be good if when lo comes.

Blue yum at the chocolate balls recipe . I'm terribly auto suggestive when it comes to food at the moment. Someone on my antenatal thread mentioned tiger bread with strong cheddar so I had to send dh out for some! One of my fb friends said she'd just baked some banana bread so the next day I was baking banana bread! Now thanks to Cupcake I've got a massive bag of Wotsits coming with my Sainsbury's order tomorrow!
