The Palace is open and the anti-freeze is flowing - Blue Bols 50p a shot! Two for one on Archers and orange, for the classy BESHies (the ones who keep their hats on whilst undergoing an internal examination).

We have Vampire Bill and Brian Cox in the Dungeon, and David Mitchell and Brian Eno tending the bar....

salander · 05/02/2010 13:56

eadwreck meanter say fnar fnar at yr dialogue v funny
and yeah also could only watch few mins of the 'wanting a girl' show, ended up yelling at tv 'oh just be grateful for what you've got' in insane type manner with hair flying everywhere

ChoChoSan · 05/02/2010 13:57

Yes

CD1 was Tuesday 12th Jan (V.late at night), so I think I am actually on cd25 today.

Treatment on Thursday 28th Jan (8 days ago)

Testing 14 days after treatment (Next Friday, or should I count day of tx as day one, and test on Thursday).

My cycle is usually about 26 days long, but can be up to 28 (with progesterone).

By the way - these numbers all look equally menkul to me...can anyone makes sense of them?

OP posts:
salander · 05/02/2010 13:59

I have no patience so would prob count day of treatment as day 1 and test on thurs. and realisitcally on fri as well.

iggypiggy · 05/02/2010 14:05

Cho that is too confusing for me... did you ov on day of treatment? (unsure how IUI works) so are you 8dpo now?

ChoChoSan · 05/02/2010 14:11

Ig Yes, I did ... got surge on the opk the day before treatment, so I would have ov'ed at some point on treatment day. So yes - 8DPO...do you think I should be thinking in terms of days post-ov, rather than cycle days?

OP posts:
ChoChoSan · 05/02/2010 14:13

I think so too, Sal!

Have you tested yet, or are you waiting, like a sensible girl?

OP posts:
salander · 05/02/2010 14:20

being a sensible girl and waiting - no symptoms at all except the usual PMSy ones.gah! may crack at some point over weekend if it doesn't appear but soooooooo not hopeful. and i agree think in terms of days post-ov. everything crossed except legs obv .....

iggypiggy · 05/02/2010 14:31

I always think in terms of post ov when it comes to testing... I didn't get anything before 13 dpo each time... but I know some people do?

HawaiianCuntShine · 05/02/2010 16:27

chocho I agree on counting DPO, but never been clear if treatment day is DPO 1 or not. I suggest just testing everyday! I hope you WIN this time, I think you are due some good news.

Cheers to chokie and sal glad to have you in the Palace!

The phlebotomist will be chasing me later on today. (can I call it chasing, if I'm sitting in a chair yelling for someone to stick me and demanding instant results???)

ChoChoSan · 05/02/2010 19:21

Thanks Hawaii50 Yep, just found my paperwork and it says test Thursday.

Medee · 05/02/2010 19:21

We're at the SWI stage; so good luck to everyone who is 2woofling.

CockDodger · 05/02/2010 20:26

Hi BESHies!

I was in this room very briefly about 20 years ago moaning about not being able to conceive..... well guess what - I still haven't, so I'm back to moan some more.

I don't expect any of y'all to remember me - you were very drunk at the time!

How's David Mitchell? has he popped in since last time?

Anyone spare me a lickle line of baby-dust to see me through?

HawaiianCuntShine · 05/02/2010 22:30

heeyyy Cockdodger I remember you!!! (still lurve your name) When I saw that you posted, I though - oh, shit - she's gone and done it. Glad to hear you are still moaning along with most of the rest of us!

Although - I should note that there have been enough BESHlets to get diffed that they've started their own coven called The PESH. So, when you finally "relax and let it happen" or put that wooden spoon under your bed, you know where you can go.

HawaiianCuntShine · 05/02/2010 22:33

ChoCho ahh, isn't it romantic? All the paperwork and needles and tubes just how mom told me it would be!

FFS, can I just WIN one for the gipper already and get the hell out of here???

Muser · 05/02/2010 22:45

I wants Cho to win a baybee.

I have consumed an entire bottle of wine all to myself. I bought it in the pub knowing full well MrM would be on beer. I drank the lot and then had a Baileys. Am rather pissed. Hurrah!

HawaiianCuntShine · 05/02/2010 22:57

Hurrah!

Scorpette · 06/02/2010 01:09

Just realised I got me rat out for a Doctor during this thread - surely this guarantees me a baybee? Babywin should be guaranteed for everyone who obeys instructions in a fred title.

Just thinkin', like (next title: '30s TTC: for god's sake man, just get on with it and then hold my legs up for a bit'? '30s TTC: cry a lot and avoid seeing friends with children'?).

PS Yay Dodgycock !

Ocarina · 06/02/2010 09:58

Oooh, given that TH has a PhD I definitely got my rat out for a doctor this thread, do I win a baybee too?

Belated nekkid dancing with Ivy and welcome Cokie.

Random question for the day, have you lot told people in real life about ttc? I'm adamantly not doing, but finding that there's too much stuff in my head that I don't know what to do with and wondering whether I do need someone to be able to splurge it all at. Some of it's related to work stuff and I'm wondering whether I need someone who knows the situation who might be able to help me stop being ridiculous.

So, if you have told people, is it useful or do you feel like they're constantly waiting for an announcement?

Cosmosis · 06/02/2010 10:03

Am I too late for ivy's nekkid dancing?? I'm only in my dressing gown so can whip it all out pretty quickly

Cokie · 06/02/2010 10:39

scorps that means I will win a baybee for sure as I am due to get me rat out next week, I am actually looking forward to it now. I may even go and get hot wax poured on me beforehand to make it extra special.

Ocarina I haven't told many people but everyone bleedin' asks.

Thanks all for the welcomes. Anyone care to elaborate what a BESH and a 2woofl is though, I feel I am missing something quite important.

Medee · 06/02/2010 10:54

I'm telling no-one, mainly so I can see the look of shock their faces when we finally announce we are with child (assuming that ever happens) and also cos my mum wouldn't get off my back if I told her.

Muser · 06/02/2010 11:29

Close family know, but only because we had to tell MrM's family before Christmas after the mc to avoid a constant chorus of "when are you going to have baby? when when when?"

We don't talk about it to them though, and only my sister knows the latest news.
