C'mon girls, this is the year. We will form a circle and concentrate hard on diffment.

Meanwhile, David and Jenson have popped the corks and are pouring out the Bellinis. Truckle of stilton anyone?

OP posts:
RunLyraRun · 25/01/2010 16:18

Welcome Ivy. Have you really been stalking us for 8mths? You prolly know us better than we know ourselves.

News from Lyraland: had lovely weekend with bezzie mate, who liked necklace, mainly because she knows it's not like me to be at all girly/soppy/babydusty.

Droid made a brief appearance yesterday and is in full flow today. It's kind of good news in a way because I'm properly disappointed, which makes me think this is something I actually want to do...but now of course I'm worried that it won't be possible

Eadwacer · 25/01/2010 16:18

Hello there pollypoo!

I love the name. It's a family name and the family member in question is well over ninety and still running a big ol' house more or less single-handedly and churning out exquisite clothes. Never knowingly seen without matching pearls and brooch. WIN! (I love the old names coming back but this one's already been snaffled by other family members the swine).

iggypiggy · 25/01/2010 16:20

Congrats to cho for her delightful bouncy wrinkle free uterus

ead month off sounds sensible - at least you won't be able to 2WOOFL... although if you are like me - you will anyway...

Welcome Ives but really what's the deal wiv redknapp????? She is pants...

Right beshies - take some bitchslaps from me I'm off downt he pit of despair for some quality time with Reece Shearsmith and SImon Pegg

Eadwacer · 25/01/2010 16:30

cho - how the devil did I miss your post dildocam post? I'm celebrating your womb of smooth splendour by splish splish splishing a little of this here scotch into this here teacup. Slainte!

iggy I'll deffo do the 2WOOFL anyway becuz I sat on the bog seat when it was still warm, so, you know...

Bessie123 · 25/01/2010 16:35

Oh yes, of course. Well done Chochochocho on not having a saggy, wrinkly uterus.

ChoChoSan · 25/01/2010 16:41

Reece Shearsmith? That guy is terrifying...I always imagine that he is like his characters in real life, you know the really angry ones like Mr Jolly and the 'death by Mao Mao' guy - he's just too good at playing the role!

ChoChoSan · 25/01/2010 16:49

Fanks, bitches.

i am beginning to create a theory on wrinkly uterii...working title "The Womb of Dorian Grey"...see: although I am not the mostly beautiful besh in the world, I do have quite young looking, wrinkle free facial skin...so perhaps whilst my face remains smooth and radiant, my womb is withering at an inordinate rate, reflective of my unhealthy immoral lifestyle, just like Dorian...

...okay, so maybe I will not devote my life to developing that theory further...fuhgett it!

ChoChoSan · 25/01/2010 16:50

I don't know why I actually pressed post on that...must learn to edit own thoughts

Eadwacer · 25/01/2010 16:59

cho I think I love you.

ChoChoSan · 25/01/2010 17:06

Come over here and show me whatchoo got SpacerEad

Eadwacer · 25/01/2010 17:07

My buns are big but they're tasty

Scorpette · 25/01/2010 17:57

Cho, I also have that Dorian Grey theory about my face vs baybee-mekkin equipment But well done on unfolding the origami uterus - told ya it'd be nowt.

And now Dr Scorpette is in da hizzouse... Laurie, let me just double-check those knockers of yours; second opinion and all that Carry on without me, I might be here some time...

Right, where was I? Bessie, the droid has been and gone (just about). Can tell it's going to be Braaaaaahn Bits Central in my gusset next time (unless I win, hahahahahahaha!), as didn't last v long. And don't get excited about it being a misleading bleed - it was a proper droid, just short

Iggles, I heart Reece and Simon too. Although there'd always be the worry that Reece would say 'Hello Dave' at the moment of orgasm, which might be a tad off-putting. And why are you going into the pit? Are you okay, my sweet?

And last, but not least, welcome Ivy! I like the boxing element - as you have been stalking us for ages you freak, you'll know that violence is always necessary and frankly at times, only a proper K.O. would do for some of the menkul we produce (mainly me, I know). Ivy is a cool name - I also heart the retro names (have a moderately 'Old Lady' name meself in RL). Me and TYF chose our shortlist of future kids' names by looking at the Top 100 names for 1891, 1901, 1921 and 1931! Anything later than 1935 is too modern for us

Medee · 25/01/2010 18:14

Welcome
Ivy
and hurrah for Lump-free Lady Lumps Lou

Why do we ask about wall colours?

Medee · 25/01/2010 18:15

oh yes, hurrah for Dildocam!

ChoChoSan · 25/01/2010 19:25

I am loving the thread about 'timing' ttc to ensure baby is born during a convenient month I remember when I used to worry about such trifles!

Medee · 25/01/2010 19:46

I can't see that one, but I did want to avoid one born December - February (to avoid Christmas, and them being the youngest in a Scottish school year) but less fussy now.

salander · 25/01/2010 20:01

Saw that one earlier Cho. Would that I had the luxury of worrying about that!

Haggis in oven yummmmmmm

Eadwacer · 25/01/2010 20:07

Anyone see the "I paid 5k to have a baby girl" biz? It was fucking hilarious. The most obvious journo you've ever seen. It had plainly been cut and pasted from a Word doc. - proper paras and everything...

Makes me wanna invent an AIBU thread persona. "AIBU to flog the nanny while my husband fellates the pool-boy, bcause she's simply hopeless at unpacking my Ocado delivery?" or "AIBU to LOL when my MIL picks up DS1, DS2, DD1, DD45 and XDH from Asda wearing my UGGS LOL LOL!!!"

FFS.

salander · 25/01/2010 20:09

at ead

go for it! blurry funny. i also saw that thread (yes v busy day today obv) and thought what an absolute load of made up journo pish.

rollerbaby · 25/01/2010 21:30

Fuckedy, fuckedy, fuck. Found out 3 people updiffed today. 2 of them due on the same day. Do these people do it to wind me up? Feeling barren and cross with them for not letting me go first!!

On the plus side dog peeing and pooing everywhere is taking my mind off it. Not sure how I am supposed to fit in sexy time now. To make matters worse, I estimate that ov time is this weekend, when I have parents staying for 3 nights, a saturday wedding and a sunday birthday lunch. Conception will be a frigging miracle.

Wine rack empty too.

Scorpette · 25/01/2010 21:47

Sexy's got nowt to do with conception. I forced TYF to fill me with babyee-joose when we both had stinking colds and I had a banging headache. It wasn't the erotic highlight of my life, put it like that. If he complains, I just tell him he's 28 and therefore has no excuse for not getting an erection

Luckily, we are both Scorpios and grim, steely determination and heartless demanding kinda works for both of us

PS I know I joke about the emotionless baby-making sex a lot, but that's cos we have sizzling hot funz 99% of the time The astrology books are right!

Scorpette · 25/01/2010 21:50

PS Pliz to newbies to make profiles so I can stalk your pics n lives? Ta muchly

SilverSky · 25/01/2010 22:01

After mucho consideration I have identified my weird wrong fantasy fella - aye its Peter Kay.

Shoot me now.

Medee · 25/01/2010 22:07

that is very wrong. My crush of not shame at all is Mr Schuester from Glee.

Eadwacer · 25/01/2010 22:07

WHAT?! PROFILES????? There are PROFILES on this biz? Am I passing up cast-iron stalking opportunities??? Tell me more. Instantly.

honeymoo I spent time today playing with an insanely adorable tot with a name I'd've given my daughter, and stroking her Mum's 8 month bump...I hear your pain.

In other news, I love Mr Shuester.
