C'mon girls, this is the year. We will form a circle and concentrate hard on diffment.

Meanwhile, David and Jenson have popped the corks and are pouring out the Bellinis. Truckle of stilton anyone?

OP posts:
Scorpette · 25/01/2010 10:38

(Still here, just) Good Luck, Cho! I bet there's going to be no probs, but fingers crossed for ya anyway

PS I used to be a teen goth too, and enjoyed Twilight more than is strictly necessary

Bessie123 · 25/01/2010 10:41

Scorps has your droid actually shown up yet or have you just had cramps? If no droid, do you still have pink panther?

CurlyCasper · 25/01/2010 11:10

cho you mention Rheumatoid Arthritis and I have said infliction (for the last 15 years), so if you have any questions, ask away. AFAIK RA does not affect fertility - but some of the meds you can take for it do. (one can be used for abortions and used post miscarriage)

Good luck with the dildo cam.

CurlyCasper · 25/01/2010 13:09

somehow I think I meant affliction . I'm hurty today if that's any excuse...

laurielou · 25/01/2010 13:12

Hi laydeez. Haven't caught up on fred yet but wanted to share some exciting non SWI news.

So...... went to the breast clinic today about "the lump". And its gone!!! HUZZAH! Had a mammogram last week (which to put into context hurt way more than HSG), which they said is all clear. They said lump was prolly a small cyst or infection which antibiotics mostly cleared & my body saw off the rest.

I hadn't realised how scared I was until I heard all that.

Then Sat I had a letter from IVF clinic - YIKES! Didn't think I was that far down the line, haven't even tried Clomid yet.

Right, now off to catch up on everyone else's news.

Yours selfishly,

Laurie "no lump" Lou

CurlyCasper · 25/01/2010 13:15

nolumpylou that's great news! well pleased for you Perhaps some lump=free naked dancing is in order? Well, let's at least have some Champers

ChoChoSan · 25/01/2010 13:20

Hi lovelylaurieslaydeelumps, that is truly excellent news...it must be almost worth going through the mammogram for, tho once you have an ivf babywin your norks will be mauled to bejeesus anyway!

ChoChoSan · 25/01/2010 13:36

Hi Curly,

Thanks...I will read more on RA (I knew someone on here had it!), but not until I have actually seen someone about my leg - I'm probably just due for the knacker's yard!

So...following dildocam...no 'folds' appearing today...the geezer said that that just happens sometimes - literally just based on the position on the day, speshly if you have a wrinkled ancient uterus, comme moi. Also, most of my blood test results have come back normal for clotting disorders, just waiting for one more result. That is all weirdly annoying tbh, as at least if they found a problem, one could try to do something about it!

Aanyway...I now have 3 follicles on the rise, one of which is a good size to produce a juicy egg, and my wimbledon common is the appropriate thickness of soft and bounciness.

Hopefully I will be treated by the end of the week... so come on BESHies - start rubbing those ovaries whiddershins for me!!!

PollyPoo · 25/01/2010 13:46

Congrats Laurie, that is great news. I'm always up for a bit of nekkid dancing Curls - come on, get your bump out and join me!

VoilaAnotherGimlet · 25/01/2010 14:10

Wohhoo naked dancing! Non-lumpy bosoms flying in all directions! Great news, Laurie!

Champagne cocktails all round.

VoilaAnotherGimlet · 25/01/2010 14:11

Ooh - missed Cho's news - even more naked dancing! Huzzah!

VoilaAnotherGimlet · 25/01/2010 14:11
salander · 25/01/2010 14:16

goes along with naked dancing well i fink!

Bessie123 · 25/01/2010 14:55

Skatergrrrl if you're lurking, I missed your post announcing your updiff, so sorry. Congratulations

Ivytheterrible · 25/01/2010 14:56

Hi All, can I share a drink? tis a miserable Monday and it may be the only to get me through the day...

Am 31 and have been babyfailing for the last 8 months and stalking following you all for a lot of that time [manical laughing ensues... falls off chair]

yeah yeah... I know... do the test...

THE BESHTEST

  1. Do you like gin? (This is compulsory, you must say 'Yes')

eeerrm yes and anything else alcoholic...

  1. Men - are you a gold digger or a cradle snatching cougar?

gold digger

  1. Baybee-making - to put a baybee in your tumtum, which hole do you use: a) weewee b) poopoo c) foofoo d) none, you just pray to the baby Jebus.

I assumed it was c) but due to much failure am resorting to mn for further insights in case I'm wrong

  1. Testing - when someone wonders if they should test for updiff (pg), do you: a) bellow 'POAS!' at them non-stop and punch them repeatedly in the kidneys till they wet themselves anyway. b) Sprinkle them with babydust and send them hugs and kisses on lickle baby angel wings.

well couldn't do b) without having to go and vomit and I do boxing so a)would give a workout at the same time

  1. Is R2D2: a) an adorable robot from Star Wars. b) the source of all evil.

Have never seen star wars so will go with my instinct on all things unknown and say b)

  1. what colour are your walls?

mainly bare plaster colour due to laziness in decorating the house... otherwise quite a lot of driftwood (ie chalky white)

  1. Number of pets?

1 cat

  1. Inappropriate (read: weird) crush of shame?

I quite like (ssshhhhh) Adrian Chiles at the moment from the one show - I think it the way he looks so dishevelled these days...

  1. Lesbian crush?

Louise Redknapp

  1. What are your views on camping?

Have done it once as an adult but was only bearable due to being wasted while at a music festival. Now I am "all growned up" I would rather burn in hell.

  1. How much money have you spent on sticks you then urinate on? i) Oh nothing, I'll probably catch first time and then get the doctor to confirm it. ii) Over 100 quid iii) I opened an account on ebay solely for the purpose of purchasing sticks

Not much so far... although I did waste several one month due to late droid despite the fact hadn't even had sex that month... what was I expecting a frickin immaculate conception?

Bessie123 · 25/01/2010 15:04

Welcome Ivy. I love your name. If my BOC sticks and is a girl I shall be campaigning VERY hard for her to be called Ivy. Louise Redknapp though, what's that about? She simpers.

Ivytheterrible · 25/01/2010 15:08

Thanks Bessie... I love the name Ivy too but I have a sister called Holly so it might be abit bleuughh to name a child Ivy in our family

Louise is just kind of all shiny and glossy!

I know...I'm weird... I hope to fit in here just fine!

Bessie123 · 25/01/2010 15:08

And I meant to say, you will notice there has been a rash of updiffs recently, so the gin palace is a temporal black hole constructive use of time if you are trying for an updiff.

Eadwacer · 25/01/2010 15:31

Allo ivy, how exciting that I'm not the newest upstart. In'trestingly just had long conversation with hugely diffed pal about the lovelines of said apelle appale appele

ChoChoSan · 25/01/2010 15:34

....that's if you don't get sucked into our vortex of tragedy, Ivy...Bwaah haah haa haaaaa!

ChoChoSan · 25/01/2010 15:36

Love it that you found your 'tuppence' in your tights Ead...now you just need to tell yur chap where it is!

Eadwacer · 25/01/2010 15:38

PHNWAR HAR HAAAAAAAR cho, damn straight! I'll get out me needle 'n' fred and embroider two tasteful arrows pointing upwards from me knees...

Ivytheterrible · 25/01/2010 15:48

Ead flashing neon lights in the arrows may also help a 9v battery should do the trick if you're handy with electronics...

Ivytheterrible · 25/01/2010 15:51

And also meant to say congrats to the updiffed and also the all clears on all lumps, folds and other unwelcome visitors that have been floating around... we must all be in prime baybee-making shape now... surely???

PollyPoo · 25/01/2010 16:13

Welcome Ivy - next round is on you! I also like the name but TG is not so keen. (Lucky I'm not diffed yet then so I have plenty of time to bully persuade him.)
