Here we go, another new thread for us to fill with our highs and lows.

Lets start off with a good dusting of babydust, think all the rest we had has washed off in the rain

Diddle i'm hoping the same thing for you
Wow with the numbers is it hard to remember all the times etc? Do you have the over 8's ontop of your allowance of under 8's?
I feel quite fortunate that mine are pretty much full time and I've just taken on a baby for 2 days that fills the slots of 2 other children (who do 4 days each)

I STILL DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO. I'M SOOOO TEMEPTED BY TTC BUT FIRSTLY IM SCARED OF ANOTHER M/C AND ANOTHER ERPC (WHICH TERRIFIED ME) AND SECONDLY I'M TIRED AS IT IS CAN I COPE WITH ANOTHER, WHAT IF IT HAS SN?????

CHOCOLATEPEANUT · 06/07/2005 14:12

Period over so now it all starts again. Concived both times before on day 13 but that was on a 28 day cycle. Did same last month and P arrived day 31. So going for days 13,15,17 and 19 this month (DH saw marks on calender and said 'whats that' and I said your lucky nights!) Hardly romantic I know and amI the only one that insists he holds my legs in the air for 15minutes afterwards..?

So wanted to be pregnant by fast approaching due date 24.7 finding it quite unbearable really. Also took Mat leave when Philippa died as intention was to get pregnant again asap and as i suffer with hyperemesis thought bestto beoff work anyway. Probably be time to go back before i manage it then will have to take timeoff sick!

maddyd · 06/07/2005 14:39

Xena sn is a worry but its a bridge to cross when and if you come to it. Its a worry of mine also. I really dont think i could cope if that happened. But the need for a baby is too strong to put me off trying. As for another m/c and d&c everyone on this thread has the same worry too, thats why its good support. It doesnt matter how pleased and excited you are if and when you are pregnant, that worry of mc again will take over and everyone here undertands exactly what you are going through.Maybe you should have a big heart to heart with your other half and decide exactly what you want to do.

Chocolatepeanut, dont worry im a legs in the air girl myself too. Also dont tell anyone but gottta orgasm too, it helps apparently. So my poor dp isnt allowed to stop till ive finished. Not that he minds

Diddle · 06/07/2005 15:54

xena - thank you and yes it is hard to remember i have a timetable on my pc that i check every day. Yes i have over 8's on top of the under 8's, but they're all wonderful, so well behaved.

It is perfeclty normal to be scared, we all have to worry of having a SN child though, and i guess its just something we would have to deal with if it happened. I know it wouldn't stop me, but thats easy for em to say as i'm not in you're position.

Chocolate Peanut - I have to say i don't get DH to hold my legs up, but i do have my legs in the air for 10 mins after.

Maddyd - I heard that orgasms help too, release some sort of acid that gives the swimmers an energy boost.

Xena · 06/07/2005 16:26

I think that atm my time is divided pretty well between my 3 and I don't think for a minute that if the baby that died had been born that we wouldn't have loved it, its just that after that happened I think it makes it more of a reality IYSWIM?
Thanks for listening to my ranting xxx

MaddyD I think your right about orgasms aleast thats what I always told DH

Diddle · 06/07/2005 16:36

xena - thats what we're here for, and you're right to think practically, but i know that wouldn't stop me wanting one and would probably make me want one even more.

Dh only wants 2, which si easy to say when you have none, but i want more, which we don't have room for in our house. but i don't think it would stop me. we'd have to manage some how.
But you do have to think of your quality of life and the life you will be able to give the children.

Hey gals,
Hi to Petunia.Lots of newbies here like me being welcomed by those who have been on the thread for a bit longer....
I am also a legs in the air for 15 minutes kind of a woman. I conceived my dd month 2 and got pregnany month one last time around (though that ended in m/c )so I reckon there may be sommat in it. Having an orgasm is always a good idea, too....
Cori - if you see this message in particular - AF has just arrived after my first acupuncture session on Monday night. I am SOOO happy that I can get back on the baby making trail now. I'll never know if AF would have come anyway but am going back for my bext 3 sessions in the hope that they will also help with conception!

Diddle · 06/07/2005 18:20

I can't stop thinking about it, i;m losing my mind again.

Do you think we will ever get there, please someone take over being positive for today

OP posts:
Xena · 06/07/2005 19:08

It will happen Diddle, I say that this time next year your be on maternity leave (26wks at £102 better than a kick in the teeth)

Diddle · 06/07/2005 19:10

sounds good xena, can't afford to go on maternity leave for that long though, don't want to risk losing the kids. but the fact that i could be entitled to maternity leave at all by then is great.
sorry don't mean to be negative, just can't get it out of my head, i am constantly wondering if i am, and if i'm not why not.

CHOCOLATEPEANUT · 06/07/2005 19:12

I dont know if I can manage positive but on the subject of TTC and orgasms....

What are they??!!

38 years old never bloody had one! Always blame it on Catholic guilt

and DH is no 2 and had lots of men to test the theory on between him and no 1

spub · 06/07/2005 19:16

Hey diddle! (sounds like the start of a nursery rhyme )
Big positive, happy vibes heading your way right now. It CAN happen and by God, if it has anything to do with the collective might of MNers - it WILL!!
It's hard to be upbeat all the time and to be such a cheerleader for others - you are entitled to have crappy and low days as we all are.
Just knowing that people on this board totally understand is such a boost, though and we are all really hoping for the best for each other. Must, surely count for something?
Hope tomorrow is better.

spub · 06/07/2005 19:18

Xena · 06/07/2005 19:39

I had a work experience student for 2 days a week for a term- the first 2 weeks or so it was awfull but after that it was great such a help and DD1 loved her. But I was thinking you could actually employee someone for however many hrs a week you work and take the whole 6mths off.

ChocPeanut you need it to happen belive me- have you tried lots of postions?

Xena · 06/07/2005 19:41

munz- I think that would be my DH's advise!!

Diddle · 06/07/2005 19:45

xena - oh that sounds good, would they be able to be left in sole charge??

maddyd - don't tell everyone about me and lottie my dh has no idea and loves reading our threads
You're thread made me pmsl too, have a great imagine of you flooding in your pedicure. sorry not funny at all, i would be so embarrassed but the way you wrote it just sounded so funny. Glad you can now move on, and gte back to it.

Munz love the advice, we will all be walking like john wayne before you know it.

Chocolate peanut - maybe a bit of DIY would help

Whats even worse is i had to ask for some of the paper knickers they use for tanning to get home with.
