Here we go, another new thread for us to fill with our highs and lows.

Lets start off with a good dusting of babydust, think all the rest we had has washed off in the rain

Morning all from rainy Lincolnshire

DD's arm is still hanging-when I went to get her up she just said der and pointed to her arm and put the other arm up so that I could sit her up. She did grip her booster seat arm at the table this morning and I have given her Nurofen. I'm at the dentist this morning so will monitor progress. I'm just hoping she will forget and use it.

TMI coming up. After speaking to you all last night I think I discovered EWCM so took it I might be ovulating (is that is what it means) so exhausted as I was I found the strength to BD and nothing ran out .

HellKat-I'm trying to sell my Kama Sutra book on Ebay but funnily enough no one is bidding!

Got to go so speak later and {{{{{x}}}}} to all.

I put Hellkat instead of Hunpreyscorners about dd's arm. Its cos your both hc's sort of. Anyway h/c so last niht was the night. You may yhave to gather the enrgy for a few more sessions you know

HumphreysCorner · 07/07/2005 09:32

maddyd-yes I know but one can always hope a miracle will happen. Have told DH that is it until next month as I need to recover . (Stamps feet) I WANT MY AF !!!! then the real TTC will begin.

P.S. DD is using her arm a bit better so either the Nurofen has kicked in or she has forgotten.

Hiya Diddle all ok here. Just all cold and goosepimply. Cant believe what the world is coming too. Its just so senseless. You Ok?

Diddle · 07/07/2005 12:33

yes i'm ok, can't beliee it has happened in our country, although we have all been expecting it. My Sister is near london, and i think having someone that close to it, makes it seem more real. Horrible

OP posts:
Diddle · 07/07/2005 12:36

CORI - You okay, you're in London aren't you, is everything alright???

OP posts:
cori · 07/07/2005 13:26

Yep I am fine. I was on the tube on the way to work, all the trains were suspended, thankfully my tube was stopped at a station just one stop away from home. I was able to get off and catch a bus home.
I am just grateful I was late for work today, otherwise I would be stuck in Hammersmith with no way home.

Diddle · 07/07/2005 13:29

phew - thank god you're ok was getting a little worried

OP posts:
LunarSea · 07/07/2005 13:29

AM ok - very glad that I managed to escape working in London though as this time last year I'd have been there. Lots of scares around here though with bus and train stations closed, and a colleague says that the main road south from here seem sto have been closed off, though don't know why.

Diddle · 07/07/2005 13:31

dh was on the M25 yesterday, so glad he's in Wales today

OP posts:
HellKat · 07/07/2005 16:17

Would happily torture all terrorists myself!
Hope everyone's coping with the dreadful news.
Two weeks ago, my mum would've been at the Kings Cross station! Thank goodness she retired.
My thoughts are with the families and I hope that those concerned did'nt suffer.

HellKat · 07/07/2005 16:18

Used to live in North London (thank goodness about 15/18 miles from central London)

2GIRLS · 07/07/2005 17:11

Really awful what's happened in London. I moved away from there but all family and friends there, though not near the centre.
Really feel for the poor people who were caught up in it.

Xena · 07/07/2005 17:37

Hi Guys were in London Home is not central thankgoodness but DH was working in Essex and had to go the Royal Free in London, but someone has to do it I suppose, as there are short on ambulances his car has been used. So he can't even try to come home for a while

Diddle · 07/07/2005 18:27

glad to hear you are all coping well with it, Xena - Your DH must be doing a great job there, he'll be knackered when he comes home.

Horrible to think how close to us it all is, very scary

OP posts:
Xena · 07/07/2005 19:02

I just want him home diddle. Mind I felt that about DS at school when things happen I'm turn into mother hen and don't want to let my brood out of my site.
I hope its over, but I have a feeling this is just the start of it.

Xena · 07/07/2005 19:03

On the ttc not my lmp was the 23/6 so I should have OV yesterday right?

2GIRLS · 07/07/2005 20:17

xena, sorry but do you mean your last period was 23 june so you should have OV'd yesterday?

HumphreysCorner · 07/07/2005 20:18

Until tomorrow.

Diddle · 07/07/2005 20:24

xena - everyone is different, there is no set day that you should OV, it can vary. Have you got any signs of OV? EWCM or have you tested???

Hope you're DH is home soon, and i agree that it could be the start of more attacks. i don't think we've seen the last of them.

Having a veyr long day today, still have a mindie here until just after 9, started at 6.50am. very tired. Luckily the little one is asleep, but i thought he might stay awake as he was still here.
