Here we go, another new thread for us to fill with our highs and lows.

Lets start off with a good dusting of babydust, think all the rest we had has washed off in the rain

Xena- have a great meet up. Hope the weather holds out for you. Crappy here. Cold and wet.

Howdy girls

Had a horrible day at work-frustrating more than anything. You know the type of day where you run round in circles and get nowhere? Bah!

HellKat-nope, no sign of madam. I'll give her one more week then I'm flying out to fetch her home and when I get my hands on her life won't be worth living. Then she can go on an extended holiday with my blessing .

madrush and petunia-a big welcome to you both {{xx}}-everyone is lovely on here and I will miss them dreadfully if I ever get PG.

madrush-why is it we never notice bumps normally, only when we are TTC? Bah!

Hope everyone is OK and I'll catch ya later.
x

not sure if any of you have seen this on the m/c section but i had to paste it in:

Mummy, I'm a special angel
up here in heaven above
God needed me up here, mummy
but I can still feel your love

I know you miss me lots
And mummy, I miss you too
But I'm up here in heaven
Watching over you!

God gave me wings so I can fly and I wear a pretty dress
Just because you're there, and I'm I'm up here, that doesn't mean you love me less

I know that you want me there Mummy
So you can care for me
but mummy, I know that from up here,
I'm a special angel you see!

When God made mums,
he knew that you with your love and tender ways,
could be the best a mum could be,
Please remember that always.

I am an angel in the sky and I'm always watching you,
Please don't be sad and blue mummy
because I will always love you

Look at the sky tonight mummy,
you'll see a shining star.
That's me mummy, shining so bright,
You know, i'm really not that far!

When we meet again, my dear mummy,
we'll laugh and be so gay,
but mummy, promise me, oh please do,
be happy til that day.

I'm going to go and have some fun and play with all my might,
but look at the star tonight, mummy,
it'll be the brightest one tonight.

my day just went very downhill.

One of my childminded children is moving house and her mom asked if she could have a word with me, i thought she might be finding another childminder as she is moving the other side of the school. But i was wrong, she BLOODY PREGNANT. I am really happy for her but as soon as she was out the door, i burst into tears, i can't stop crying.
Its not fair, i want a baby so much, its not fair!!!!!
it should be me.

she;s telling her DD tonight, so i will have her telling me about it in the morning too.
i was doing so well and thought i was coping. feel like i've been knocked back months.

HumphreysCorner · 05/07/2005 18:17

Oh Diddle-that has made my cry

Diddle · 05/07/2005 18:18

Look-I can't even type through the tears. It is so lovely yet so sad.

CHOCOLATEPEANUT · 05/07/2005 19:49

Diddle thats was so lovely, thankyou for posting it.

HellKat · 06/07/2005 06:21

Morning girls.
Petunia- Welcome! Hope, like everyone else, we won't be here too long .
Diddle- Aww hun. Sorry yesterday was crappy. I still have days when the whole thing does'nt stop playing on my mind. Normally as I'm trying to go sleep.You will get pg soon. {{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}
can't wait for a nicer image to pop into my head. I want to be laying there, at the scan, and be told "Ohhh look, baby's trampolining again on your bladder" instead of "I'm so sorry.....".
Here's to very fertile times ahead for all.
Humphreys- Do me a favour hun? When madam shows her face and she announces she's travelling the world, tell her to take mine too .
That poem was lovely! Sat in here in tears.

Diddle · 06/07/2005 07:25

Thanks Hellkat - Had a s**t evening, but feel a bit better about it now, plus the little girls mom works full time so may need me to look after the baby too, which would be great.
The poem was sad wasn't it. didn't mean to make you all cry.
yep lets think super fertile thoughts.

OOOOh How Lovely we have newbies. Welcome to Petunia and Spub.

Morning all couldnt pop in yesterday as hard day at office and raging headache when got home plus mood swing from hell. Af still not here but ill take bets on today as also had to take chcolate to bed with me

How is everyone, Hellkat has your af finished yet??

Xena · 06/07/2005 08:41

Hey Diddle I bet you will you get 2 under 1's for continuity of care (you'll need it because that baby and yours will be under 1 together)
What ages are your mindees?

HumphreysCorner · 06/07/2005 09:00

Morning ladies

HellKat-yep, when I see her I'll have words and she'll be made to take yours with her when she goes .

Diddle-hope today is a much improved one {{x}}

My bloody MIL is at it again. She has her every Tuesday for the day (not my choice) and keeps putting her in one of my DH's scabby white cardigans (35 years old!). It has been irritating me for months so I even bought a white one and put it in the bag for her to use but this morning there was the scabby one in the bag. I told DH to take it back and if I see it again it is going in the bin! He said that his mother said DD needed something to play in so mine wouldn't get dirty but I sent two other jumpers/jackets. She bought some other nappy cream once and when I found it in the changing bag DH said Oh, she doesn't like the one you use (Sudocrem) so that went straight in the bin. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrh!!!!!!!!

Ok rant over so feel a bit better. Did another HCG stick test and still a pale pink line-bah! Have kept it so when I do one next week I can compare the shades. That is if the result stays on the stick that long.

Today DD & I are going to have our hair cut then go into town with my mum. There is a Bike Night in the village where I work tonight and we go every year but don't fancy it if it is raining as it gets very crowded and you can't move along very quick when you get in the one way crowd so we will see.

God, bit of an essay-soz. Lots of hugs to all. Back later
x

Diddle · 06/07/2005 09:08

Xena - i have 16 mindies at the moment, of the following ages:

1 x 10months
3 x 2 yrs
1 x 3 yrs
1 x 4 yrs
2 x 5yrs
4 x 6 yrs
1 x 7 yrs
2 x 9 yrs
1 x 10 yrs

But only a couple are full time and their hours are very confusing.
I think i would get them through continuity fo care, and two of the little ones start school in Jan so i would ahve room, but pg mummy has a long way to go now. I am worried that another CM might pinch them off me, as she uses her for when i'm away, and she has a bit of a reputation for causing trouble. We'll see, i'd hate to lose her, even if it means not having the baby, who knows the mom might leav ework and be a stay at home mom.
its a little financially worrying, i better get saving just in case.

OP posts:
HellKat · 06/07/2005 09:57

Maddy- not finished yet! 12 days!! But slowly tapering away.
Humphreys- my pink line took ages to go. Thankyou for sending my madam away too!

Diddle · 06/07/2005 10:02

well i've given up on pretending i'm not counting the days, it is 9 days ish until AF is due, i hope she stays away for a good few months, i will be gutted if she comes this month because we have really tried, bd every day around the normal time of OV. fingers crossed.

OP posts:
petunia · 06/07/2005 10:08

Hi to all.
Thanks for all the welcome messages. Mc was 3 weeks ago today so trying to keep busy and have positive thoughts. So I'm off to ice DD1s birthday cake (6 tomorrow) and hopefully off to her sports day this afternoon, if the weather's fine.
So here's to those positive thoughts and hope that the babydust is the quick working variety!

maddyd · 06/07/2005 12:51

Oh Diddle i hope it workd for you this month. The wait is awfull isnt it. How good are you on waiting to test? Or are you a bit of an addict like me
