Here we go, another new thread for us to fill with our highs and lows.

Lets start off with a good dusting of babydust, think all the rest we had has washed off in the rain

Feeling v tired myself today. And have every symptom under the sun (in my head probably)I must find more to do to keep my mind off it all. Quiet work day today, so have been surfing baby sites to get possible due dates (around 12 April) It can't be healthy you know! It seems silly to get all worked up when it's only the first month of trying since mc, but I so want to get back to that point of excitment where I left off. I hope one of us gets a bfp soon, I think we all need the encouragement. Here's some Baby dust to keep us all going.

Choclatepeanut.
I am feeling for you today too. I have been a bit weepy today myself. I should have been starting my Maternity leave this week. I had planned to enjoy the rest of the summer lazing around in my garden. but insted am stuck here.

AF is due on Friday. Am pretty convinced it will be BFN despite a couple symptoms. I have some early tests at home, might just test anyway and get it over and done with.

spub · 25/07/2005 18:17

Bloody hell,

Sorry that this isn't a great time for several posters here
We need some happy news on here soon! Maybe even non-baby related happy news would do. We need cheering up en masse!!!

cori · 25/07/2005 18:27

Well I tested, BFN as expected.
Wonder how long this will take.
AM going back to acupuncture this month, and back to detox diet too.

maddyd · 25/07/2005 18:36

Sorry Cori, still time though. I usually give up though if i havnt had a pos 4 days before af due. I get really despondant. Those digital ones are horrible. Big bold lettes saying NOT PREGNANT

maddyd · 25/07/2005 18:48

Havnt got any news really but got a funny saying from ny DD.

Today i am makeup free due to a spot breakout and she came up to me earlier, gave me a kiss and a cuddle and said ' Poor Mummy, you got chicken pox' Bless her

CHOCOLATEPEANUT · 25/07/2005 19:11

(((((((Cori)))))))))))

I got my mat leave as my loss was over 25 weeks but its a small consolation as i keep looking at mums pushing new borns and think 'that should be me'

My dd made me smile yesterday on the day i needed it most. When shes tired she puts her head on me and i say "oh my baby" .I lay down feeling a bit down on the sofa watching her play and she stopped, came over and put her head on me saying "oh my baby"
cute

HumphreysCorner · 25/07/2005 20:42

Evening ladies

AF getting heavier again so can't see us BD this week

I saw an old friend today who innocently asked "are you having any more children?" so I just said oh I should think so one day-ha ha!

Never got round to saying that MIL turned up right in the middle of the GP racing and said to DH that his dad was watching it so she'd left him to it. WHY OH WHY didn't her 1 brain cell realise that if her husband was watching it then we would be as well????? She had to sit in silence for 45 mins until it was over-hurrah!

It is nearly August so let us have a record number of BFP's next month.

DD is in bed and DH is out on his bike so having a glass of BH and might have a go on the Sims 2 as haven't had chance for a while.

Love to all
x

Evening all.

Sorry to hear about the chicken pox Maddyd! I suffer myself, I feel like a teenage sometimes (although I never suffered from breakouts then, so getting it all now)
Chocolatepeanut it's lovely to hear you DD is taking good care of you, make sure you pamper yourself as much as poss to, and it will be you (and hopefully all of us)pushing those prams soon.

Hope we all feel more positive tomorrow.

Night Night all x

here
Trying to be more positive have found an interesting article on the importance of good
nutrition and fertility. Hope it helps everyone to feel that we can take positive steps to enhance fertility.

cori · 25/07/2005 23:07

Wow, my first ever link

HellKat · 26/07/2005 06:06

Morning all.
Very sore here today. Had the appt yesterday (was there for 4 hrs!!). Had an ultrasound, looked pretty clear but they did a "Wide core biopsy". Not pleasant(numbed, cut then what sounded like staple gun taking samples out, did'nt hurt but sounded awful, hurts more now) but would've been worse if I knew what it entailed. Have a lovely open cut on my boob and blackening up already with bruising. Should'nt have to wait long for the results though.
Needless to say I'm smoking, but not too much.
How's everyone?

HellKat · 26/07/2005 07:30

Just had a thought. Have'nt seen Diddle for a while. You ok hun?

maddyd · 26/07/2005 08:58

She prob feels like Lottie Lou and is taking a break for a while. BFn is so dissapointing and deflating especially if you have a late af. It so draining this ttcing, and all the build up for testing.

Take care Diddle and come back soon. We miss you Honey. It will happen soon xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

petunia · 26/07/2005 09:03

Hellkat- I was wincing at what you went through yesterday, it sounds awful. Have a restful day if you can.
Strike and maddyd- I thought I was the only one to still have spots. I think the only time my skin has cleared up is when I've been on the pill and the middle few months of pg. Bloody hormones!
I'm off to work later today. Then off to the south coast tonight to stay with my Gran, so I won't be signing in for a few days.
Take care everyone.

strike1 · 26/07/2005 09:06

Hellkat, glad to hear it's all done now, good that the scan looked clear.Hope it's not too long a wait.
Poor Diddle, I hope you bounce back next month with lots of enthusiasm, we miss it! I understand the need for a break though. You take your time, and try to forget about ttc.

How's everyone else this morning?

strike1 · 26/07/2005 09:07

Have fun petunia, say hello to the sea from me

HellKat · 26/07/2005 09:09

Thanks Pet and Strike.
it's more painful now than yesterday but that's because there's no more anaesthetic left in it! Wish they gave me some .
Have a great time Pet and take care

HellKat · 26/07/2005 09:12

Will be having a very lazy day here. did'nt sleep much last night (kept turning over on it lol) but looking forward to another day of endless pampering and fuss from dp

maddyd · 26/07/2005 10:25

hellkat what has happened to you??

HellKat · 26/07/2005 11:17

Maddy- Long story but I'll shorten it. Found a lump in my boob 2 mths ago and it was growing (pretty quick) so went to the dr's and he got me an appt at the breast clinic. Because there's a history of all sorts of cancer in my family (I've had cancerous cells removed from my cervix before plus aunts, cousins, great- grandmother, great uncles etc had it) they decided on a deep biopsy rather than a fine needle one. Was'nt as bad as it sounds and hurts more now than having it done.
Hope that was'nt a huge essay

HellKat · 26/07/2005 11:20

Bad thing is, can't lift anything heavy for a day or two so having to be careful lifting ds2 lol (28+ lbs)

maddyd · 26/07/2005 11:21

Oh im so sorry, hope it all turns out ok for you. What a nightmare thing to go through. I had a lump removed to off my brestbone. It turned out to be scar tissue from a car crash id had years earlier but it was still scary. How long will you have to wait for the results???

HellKat · 26/07/2005 11:25

Thanks hun. They said about 2 weeks but the consultant said he'll try to hurry them through. Good thing is the scan looked pretty clear.
