Lets start off with a good dusting of babydust, think all the rest we had has washed off in the rain

Yeah, but let's just not get started on a "Bitty" thread.....

HumphreysCorner · 20/07/2005 09:08

Morning girls

Ooh I lurve Little Britain and Andy and Lou are my fave characters.

Diddle-the month before I got PG this last time my AF was a week late which was a first considering I am always 28 days on the dot. Fingers still crossed for you though hun. ((xx))

LunarSea-sorry about your AF . Hopefully next month for you. ((xx))

HellKat-How long will it be before you get the results from your biopsy? AF has a nerve showing up again!

As for my bloody AF she only stayed 3 hours to do her washing then buggered off again. So still don't have a LMP!!! Bit fed up now as it is 7+2 but I know she is not far away considering my backache. Grrrhhh!

Had a lovely day yesterday-we took DD to Fantasy Island for her B'Day and she loved all the rides. V. expensive though but we managed to sneak all 3 of us through the little gates a few times so only putting 1 lot of tokens in. Should have been 12 for the big wheel (£7.20) but got away with 4 (£2.40) Yay!

Anyway-must go as lots of ironing to do. Hope everyone has a good day!

Bye for now
x

maddyd · 20/07/2005 09:17

Morning all. Diddle i really do feel for you. Its so awfull when you are late and you desperatly want to be pregnant. You could have ovulated late in your cycle though. Are you ov testing?

Hellkat re men. Mind you im ok with mine at mo. We bd'd on day 13 and 15 so chances are good for this month. Am now on the two week testing wait which is a killer as i know although i promised i wouldnt that i will test earlier.

Hc my man irons for me Its one job i loathe. Whats going on with your af, how wierd.

Diddle · 20/07/2005 09:18

HK - don't watch little britain, but think the hypnotisng has worked. I will not test again.

Thanks Spub - fingers are crossed

Humphreyscorner - Thanks for the positive vibes, i know theres still a chance until AF appears, just hate the waiting, and will hate it even more if my body is playing trick son me, so cruel.

HumphreysCorner · 20/07/2005 09:20

Irons !!!!!!!!!If DH even picked up the iron to move it I would pass out-LOL.

Catch y'all later
x

HellKat · 20/07/2005 09:49

Spub- That scene makes cringe!!!!! Yuck lol.
Humphreys- Not had it done yet. Going Monday morning at 9.20pm. Dr reckons a biopsy but you never know, they might be kind and just do a mammogram!
Maddy- That wait's going to be a nightmare!!!!

strike1 · 20/07/2005 09:56

Morning all! Don't worry Diddle you have all the good vibes you could possibly need from everyone and maddyd is right you could have ov late this month.
I love Little Britain and so does dh but I find it weird when he keeps insisting that he's "a laadyyyy!!" So far it hasn't effected the BDing

Maddyd, know what you mean about the 2 week wait. I feel confident I got the dates right this month and am desperate to test to see if it's worked. It's sooooo frustrating.

Diddle · 20/07/2005 09:59

MADDYD - didn't do any ov testing this month as i was on hols at my normal ov time and we just bd every day in the hope that we caught it, and i had no chance of checking CM as i was in and out of the swimming pool and there was no sign of any at all, like having bath every day isn't it. but i would have been on cycle days 14 - 20 so good chance we got it this month, we'll see.

OP posts:
HellKat · 20/07/2005 10:03

Lol Strike!

spub · 20/07/2005 10:14

HK- Hope the appointment later goes as well as possible. Never had a mammogram myself but my aunt reliably informed me that hers was like having her "tit slammed hard in a heavy door" so maybe a paracetamol or sumat beforehand? [ouch emoticon]

HC and Diddle - lots of luck.
CP - Happy belated birthday!

LOL at Little Britain stuff - my dd (2.5) wanders around going, "ah ah ah" like Anne from the mental institution. We have had some weird looks in Tescos...

Am now in total BD mode. Once on Monday night, this morning and tonight and then on Friday as well. Hope that should do it! I'm obsessively checking my CM as well. Don't think my bits have ever seen so much action!!

spub · 20/07/2005 10:14

HK - sorry - that's good luck for Monday.

Diddle · 20/07/2005 10:26

pmsl at you spub, love the mammogram desc. Someone I know said something similar about.

OP posts:
maddyd · 20/07/2005 10:29

Spud my cm wasnt what it was meant to be on day 14. I do have a bath everyday so could be that. Im always really watery week after af and then its just creamy. Am doing no more checking now. On day 16. So will bd cos i want to from now on not cos i have too. Just been on baby center and if we fall this month it will be a early April baby. Apparently im 3 weeks pg and can test on 2 nd of August. YEAH RIGHT

HellKat · 20/07/2005 10:35

Spub- Cheers babe! Made me feel bloody marvelous! Lol only joking love! I've heard the same description too and it's supposed to be worse the smaller you are (should be in between for me ).

spub · 20/07/2005 10:47

I am Sooooo dreading having a mammogram - I'm only 5"2 and have 34 FF knockers.
When I was a student I shared a house with 5 other girls who all had more reasonably sized breasts. We got pissed one night and did the HB pencil test (somebody had seen it in Cosmo or something highbrow like that)to check for breast pertness.
All 5 of my mates were pretty pert. I put the pencil under my boob and it disappeared. In fact, I managed to get the whole pencil case under one and a baking potato under the other.
We then all decided to weigh our boobs using the little kitchen scales. Needless to say most of my mates could barely get theirs on to the scale plate thingy whereas mine went plopping on with an enormous whack and came weighing in at about 7 llbs . My nickname at uni was "Miss Mamms"...
Thankfully, I only went up to a GG when I was pregnant with dd.....

strike1 · 20/07/2005 10:54

Oh dear, I lol at the mammogram thingy, then the weighing boobs thing nearly made me fall off my chair Ahhh university! Mine are easy to ignore but don't like the idea of shutting them in any doors! Good luck Hellkat, I hope all this is filling you with a sense of calm.....Don't worry though and mere moment in the exciting life of modern day mamms! Ohhh get me being all poetic.

maddyd · 20/07/2005 11:08

Spud. Those were the days eh???

HellKat · 20/07/2005 11:09

PMSL!
Am In proper stitches!!
Yep I know the pencil test too well! Alas, On having ds2 mine swelled from 36c to 38dd! They've still never returned to "normal". Am 36d!
Can't get the image out of my head on drunk gals weighing boobs lol. . Ohh the things we do when we're mullered!

HellKat · 20/07/2005 11:10

How true Strike!
Oh where oh where would I be without my girls here eh? .

spub · 20/07/2005 11:27

Come on - some of you lot have done some daft, outrageous or dangerous stuff under the influence, I can sense it! 'Fess up.
Last one to post has to weigh their boobs in front of the rest of us.....

HellKat · 20/07/2005 11:32

And suddenly it all goes quiet!
can't think of much I've done. Just the normal mooning, falling over etc.

HellKat · 20/07/2005 11:33

Be back little bit later all!
Spub- keep me posted on the confessions hun (sounds like catholic mass )

spub · 20/07/2005 11:33

"Just the normal mooning"???
Is there such a thing?
Alas, I have never mooned......
Was it in front of lots of people?

Diddle · 20/07/2005 11:43

nothing to confess here either, i'm a good girl never mooned either spub, not sure anyone would want to see "that" not a pretty sight.
never went to uni so dont have any stories to tell

OP posts:
spub · 20/07/2005 11:48

Diddle - my moony bits have never been that picturesque but I fear that having had dd they are even less of a scene of beauty and so I think my mooning days are over before they began.
God, the very thought of anyone who doesn't have to see them unless:
a) They are my dh
b) they are medically qualified and it's a necessity
makes me feel quite queasy.
