Here we go, another new thread for us to fill with our highs and lows.

Lets start off with a good dusting of babydust, think all the rest we had has washed off in the rain

Hmm not sure why that posted twice lol.

Been testing every couple of days and nothing so far. Boobs still swollen though so very puzzling.
Strike- Good luck today hun, You'll be fine.

madrush · 18/07/2005 09:18

Of course I tested again this morning, still very faint but it's there!

I really hope this does bring others luck too. Good luck to all the testees (Diddle, don't give up hope yet) and to all those waiting for af to appear.

Strike1 - I know what you mean about the London thing. I've been in every work day since and still think about it much more than I should. Doesn't help that you buy a paper at the station sit down to read it on the train and get faced with all the latest on the bombers (pages and pages of it). Take a deep breath and go for it!

Xena · 18/07/2005 09:43

Goodmorning all, Thanks HC and Diddle I'm sure too that she has forgotten what she said 2 min after she said it.
Strike, DD1 and I were supposed to be going to into London last week but I couldn't bring myself too
Hope everyone has a good day.

cori · 18/07/2005 10:09

Congratulations Madrush. Glad to see someone getting a BFP.
Hope everyone is enjoying the gLorious weather.

I ovulated last week. Now the long wait til test day begins.
If I dont get pregnant this month I am going back for more acupuncture.

How many days late are you Diddle?

Diddle · 18/07/2005 10:12

maddyd - no chance of my dates being wrong, but i've never been this late and i don't feel very stressed and have not done anything different to slow it down, not surprise excerise for my body, so not sure whats going on. think i've run out of tests now, only got ov sticks left. The only difference i ahve today is that i feel very hot, which normally happens before AF comes but with more symptoms and high temp can also mean i'm pg so pretty much still in limbo.

i dreamt i was pg last night. i really hope i am.

Congrats again madrush, what did your dh/p say, is he thrilled???

HK - thanks for the babydust, much needed, and thanks for the support. we'll get there eventually. Hope you get a bfp soon, very odd that you have tingly boobs, do you normally get that with af?? or could you be pg?

Every month we say we will do it every other day from af to af, and never do, so next month if we need to we really are going to. dh is getting just as obsessive as me, which isn't a bad thing as he is then more willing to bd as often as needed.

i'm fed up of thinking about it all the time, i'm constantly running to the bathroom to check for af, its unavoidable.

Must find something else to concentrate on.

strke1 = deep breaths, all will be fine in London don't worry. The chances of it happening again i would imagine are very slim, but i bet you can't get away from it down there. Its on everyones mind. When i go to our local shopping centre and into Birmingham i wonder if it could happen while i'm there, and what i would do if it did. esp as i have the kids with me most of the time.

Hope you all have a good day, looks like rain here, think we need it.

maddyd - how are your roses doing, my are huge, and they supposed to be patio roses, so they don't grow much. they need pruning, might spend some time on them today and give them a good drink, i'd hate for them to die.

OP posts:
Diddle · 18/07/2005 10:13

cori - i'm 3 days late, how are you doing??

OP posts:
HellKat · 18/07/2005 10:29

Diddle- never get it when I'm due (just finished) only when I'm pg but all tests say bfn so who knows. Are you going to grab some more tests a.s.a.p? It's so strange that you're this late. Fingers crossed hunny!

madrush · 18/07/2005 10:33

DH is thrilled (asking when we can tell people) but as I'm prone to getting over-excited he's trying to keep me calm by not getting carried away himself. Drs appt Wed am, hope to get a scan in asap at EPU.

Cori, don't envy you that wait from ov to testing.

Diddle - I really hope your dream is a premonition. What do you mean no tests left?! Do the roses and take your mind off things for a while.

cori · 18/07/2005 10:35

I am on CD 18, so realistically another 10 days before test date. TBH not really expecting to be pg because this is the first official month of trying.
Diddle,
How frustrating to be late and have BFN. That happened to me last month, but was to be expected as it was on 2nd AF since M/C. Still there is hope.

Strike1, I went to central London yesterday. Was a bit nervous, but really London looked quite deserted compared to a usual summer Sunday. Everyone feels the same way, and for once people seem quite happy to talk to you on the tube as a way of relieving there anxiety.

How much BD is enough during the fertile period. I know it is recommended everyday. But my fertile period was on 2 days. ( from OPK + egg white CM till temperature rise.

HellKat · 18/07/2005 10:35

Cori- here's to hoping you get a bfp soon too!
Mad- Awww how exciting!

LunarSea · 18/07/2005 10:46

madrush

strike1 - I know how you feel - I have to go into London once in a while too (thankfully not every day any more as I managed to escape that nightmare last year) and one of the places I go to now is near Aldgate. Our meetings are usually Thursdays at about 9.30, and I always aim to get there for about 9 to allow for delays and then stop for a coffee. So I could very easily have been right there at 8.49 that day. I'll have to go again probably next week, and I'm sure I'll be jumpy about it.

Well, my wedding anniversary today, and dh has promised (well sort of) that there might be a surprise for me when I get home tonight. Wonder what he's got planned? CD26 today (very rare for me to even have a CD26!) and starting to wonder as it's 14 DPO (I don't usually have one of those either) whether it's worth testing yet? I do have some of the ultra early tests, sitting in a drawer at home..... Shall I??? It would be a nice surprise to DH to mark the day if I was, but would it spoil tonight if it's a BFN? Decisions, decisions.....

Diddle · 18/07/2005 10:49

have just double checked my calender in case i had got my dates wrong, you lot are making me doubt myself now and i'm on cd38!!!!

have more tests on order should come tomorrow.

HellKat · 18/07/2005 11:03

Happy anniversary Lunarsea! Go on girl...test!! I did again.... bfn!
Diddle- well done! back to testing tomorrow then hun!

madrush · 18/07/2005 11:16

Lunarsea Happy Anniversary, test, go on. A BFP will certainly make the night, but if you don't test you'll only be wondering now you've counted days up so you've got nothing to lose even if it's BFN.

Xena · 18/07/2005 11:35

Happy Anni LS, Come on TESTTTTTTTT

CHOCOLATEPEANUT · 18/07/2005 11:50

OP posts:
strike1 · 18/07/2005 12:47

Phew, I'm back!! Glad to have that over and done with, I don't think I'll get myself in such a tizzy next time! Thankyou for not thinking I was a paranoid idiot.
I hope you get something happen one way or another diddle. I know how frustrating it is to be late and still have bfn, but when that happened to me it turned out I was pg after all. So keep an eye on it cause you never know
Glad to see that the opk do work eventually CP cause I'm still waiting to get a positive on mine too. But I'll keep trying cause it's good to know.

madrush · 18/07/2005 12:48

Go on, go on! I think you could get away with the prescription idea, good one CP.

Diddle · 18/07/2005 13:54

strike1 · 18/07/2005 16:28

We all go quiet in the afternoons don't we?! Feeling very odd to day, hot flushes and a headach, I'm putting it down to the weather cause it's too early to be anything else, I think.....Very stormy here, hope it hurries up and brings back the sun. Hope you're all ok and having lovely afternoons.
