DD now in bed. Love CBeebies.Use the 'bedtime song' and off she goes....(Though if we have visitors at that time and I start singing,I get a few odd looks

No more runny poos (DD not me)so guess Nursery just wanted to off load a few tots.DD demolished a chicken salad and strawberries and cream for tea so no problems there.

This weeing on a stick lark.Box said same time everynight so last night did it after DD put down. Went to do it again tonight and thought 'mmm sure I had a wee in the last 4 hours...'so got to wait now...bugger.

Pregnant friend has doppler and said I could have it when shes done. Im glad people think they are ok.All I get is 'that face' when I mention one. But we know how it is and if it looks like obsessive behaviour, so what!!

Evening all

Why do we all feel so tired. I was supposed to be going to a Virgin Vie party with my mum tonight but I just cannot function and feel really, really bad tempered. I have come upstairs out of the way of DH or I will end up saying something horrible.

HellKat-I had my legs waxed once and that was enough-never ever again so best I stay away from epilators. The girl testing one on Lorraine Kelly this morning didn't even wince (they were probably paying her). Glad to see AF has gone-I am having horrible period type pains today so she is probably on her way.

Spub-what is this acupuncture you all have-isn't that where you have needles stuck in you? In particular where abouts as it sounds as if it could be quite painful.

Mum, DD and I got stuck in a lift today in the multi storey car park. Had to speak to the man through the intercom-very exciting but my mum didn't think so. We were only in there for about 10 mins so not too hot thank goodness.

It is DD's 2 year check up tomorrow so I am ready for the comments that the health visitors usually come out with. Can't wait

I bought a doppler style listening device a few months back for only a few pounds off Ebay and although I never got as far as listening for a heartbeat I'm sure I will hear one. It says you can hear it at the end of the 2nd and beginning of the 3rd trimester. I found it fascinating listening to the placenta whooshing sounds.

Essay over and I must have an early night or I will be getting ill. Over the last few days I've had sudden bouts of breathlessness which makes me cough and it is not even when I am exerting myself. Mum said it sounds like a touch of stress-not good when I'm TTC as it will never happen.

Love testers anon idea, definitely sign me up (although I don't think anything would convince me to give them up). Have some of those ultra early kits and tried one today (AF due Sat) and negative. Then started feeling like AF aches, I think she's on her way sadly (glad to hear she's left you at last Hellkat).

DH says I'm not allowed to test until at least Sat..... don't reckon I'll make it that far though.

HC - the acupuncture "sites" that my guy uses are
on the tops of my feet and my lower legs and on my lower arms and my hands.
It's not painful but I must admit to having a couple of small twinges during the insertion of needles in my 1st treatment(like a bruise being pressed on) when the needles went into one particular spot (on both legs). Those points mapped onto my uterus and so the acupuncturist was not at all surpised.
My period came 2 days later!
I am going to have a treatment a week for the next few weeks. I am assured (and believe) that it can help both with conception and with a healthy pregnancy. I'm pretty open minded about complementary medicine and figure it can't do any harm.
I also feel very relaxed and heavy during the treatment and it's nice just to lie back and chill out!

Re Testers anonymous - think we should extend membership to doppler addicts, too!

Tested again this morning still BFN, not impressed af due tomorrow, not sure if i have symptoms of anything, or everything, think i'm imaging half of them.
Just want to know now, feel like i'm in limbo. So impatient.

I was same last month. Felt sure i was but kepting testing neg (cost me a fortune!)then AF arrived.Now on CD14 but ov test neg so far (another fortune!)
People say relax but v hard isn't it? Feel obsessed and slightly mad

CP - yes very hard to relax, i have tried so hard not to think about it, but really its all i've thought about. I know we'll get there eventually. I won't be surprised if AF comes, although we did lots of bd on hols which was aroudn time of ov, i don't think it was very god quality Bd, lots of drunk "swimmers" heading in the wrong direction I think. Too many spanish cocktails for dh and I

i reckon we should start a testers anyonomous club instaed of a ttcing one Well we are back to bding again. Am not doing ov sticks and am not testing till due date. Im far too obessive and its not good. So say hello to a new laid back (with legs in the air) madyd.

Morning all! Well started DH on is BDing routine, and I'm already desperate to test! I've got weeks to wait...not fair. Still the weather is fab so that makes everything better.

My DH likes a drink,always has. I have concieved twice with two individual bouts of unprotected sex.

It cant make a differance, all his swimmers must always feel tipsy!!!

maddyd - i don't think you'll be able to resist the testing, i know you're worse than me.
Although i did buy an early test this morning and did it at the shopping centre and still got a BFN. I'm pissed off with testing now so might not bother tomorrow thats the plan anyway. I think dh will try and talk me into it though.

CP - so there's hope for the drunk swimmers after all. we'll see.

Cor too hot for clothes!!! Shame I have to wear them though (but only the minimal shorts, bikini top n flip flops). How's everyone today?
Diddle- I've been testing on/off the last week Got bfn's but as expecting those anyway. The way I figure is I bought a pack of 25 so I may as well use them (hope I get pg though before too long otherwise I'll run out ).
I've even been using the opks! Swear I'm obsessed with peeing on sticks! (god I sound like a dog marking it's territory ).
Spub- Love your lolly buffet!!! Yum! Went and bought a mutli-pack of frozen ice pops for later.

Sticking to BBQ tonight (yes Strike, dp's doing it } so no braving the heat for me!

Phew!! I think I've melted, I am now just a puddle on my office floor. Why is the ice cream man taking sooooo long?

Have a TMI question

when you're expecting AF do most of you stop having CM a few days before?? I think i normally do. But i have lots today, any ideas anyone. are there any threads will AF symptoms??

My body feels different but i don't knwo if its because AF is coming or if i'm pg.

I know I should know but what is CM?

Ahhhh of course, nice! I think I get more before af, but then I think I do at ov time as well, and come to think of it a bit when I was pg....maybe I'm just a cm kinda girl. No help really, sorry!

Diddle cm does definatley dry up and goes sticky before af comes. Saying that mine didnt last month, BUT as a rule it always does especially with me. Hows yours then .

Mine is like water at the mo and def up for the old bding so think must be oving if not am very close.

Well af's not quite done with me yet. As we're all on tmi atm, it's gone to the same kind of stuff I had when pg last time (light brown dc with what looks like threads in it) I really apologise for that all but curious did anyone else have (on their 1st af since mc) a normal bleed first (very very heavy with clots) then changing to this? Driving me crazy because it'll be 3 weeks tomorrow!
