Great news cindy.

My af is due and all the classic signs of it about to turn up any minute are here so Im out for this month. Am exhausted by it all once again.

I know what you mean re weight gain - think I've put on half a stone but am scared to look at the scales ! Back at work and on diet today and baked a Weightwatchers banana bread yesterday so I have something sweet at work but not too naughty

12 DPO today and resisting the urge to reach for the early tests - will wait and see if AF arrives on Wed / Thurs as I think it is less disappointing so see that, than see a negative test ..

Having said that, my boobs are growing and getting more and more tender by the day, I've had thrush (often a sure sign for me) and have strange feelings in my abdomen.

Oh well, probably all in my head but fingers crossed Iggy has her first scan (12 week scan) this evening, so fingers tightly crossed for her too.

oooh fingers' crossed Jools - my cm has dried up which for me is sure sign af on way (usually is watery up until 12dpo then it stops and af comes).

C1NDY time has really flown by; it really won't be long before March is here. Have you everything ready yet?

Yellow I think I'll be with you trying again next month! Sounds like you had a lovely Christmas though.

I've done my first course of Clomid and it has had a surprising impact on my body; I've had hot flashes (from 35.9 to 39 deg in a moment this morning), crampy aching low tummy, back ache and many tears. I've spoken to the doctor today about monitoring, and she has recommended I email my consultant.

She did make me feel a lot better though because she noticed I've lost weight. Hurrah for her!

We've kept to schedule during the month, starting on day 8 (my period was very short this month - Clomid maybe?) but I really really don't think it'll work.

My kind and thoughtful DH is keen to do his bit to make sure I have to take these pills for as little time as possible, but I feel quite sure in my mind that it's not going to work. Ever.

We'll see. But I'm not expecting much.

Just popping back briefly to say hi. I had my 12 week scan yesterday and all was well - so very relieved! (thanks jools for letting people know I am useless)

daisy Hope the clomid works! Side effects sound rubbish tho... doesn't clomid mean increased chance of multiples? Or have I made that up?

yellow really hope AF stays away for you this month.

iggy - you haven't made it up, clomid does increase the chance of multiples; and we have a history of twins in our family. And the consultant has said that the large fibroid I have will also grow at the same rate as any baby/ies we manage to conceive.

A very scary thought!

A puppy would be so very much easier I reckon, but it sounds as though you've made your decision about the beautiful, squirmy, piece of string tail pup .

Am v, v glad your 12 week scan was positive. I can't imagine your relief.

daisy yesterday I had made my mind up over puppy - today is hazy... but think it would be doable but hardcore... hmmm still deciding really!

Wow scary thought about having baby sized fibroid too! Much much finger crossing for you tho - am hoping clomid works magic. x

iggy - that's so not fair - the puppies are beautiful!

All my broody thoughts are being directed towards pups - my DH has even been looking at clips of black lab babies on youtube. I have a feeling that 4 black labs should be avoided at all costs though! We'd sink under a sea of hair.

I still say go for it if you really want a 2 dog household. There's nothing like working more than two dogs together.....

And your scan pic is up. It's so clear. I am really thrilled for you - and still can't imagine the feeling!

yellow boo to AF. Life is just not fair. When are you back to the consultant?

Well yesterday (14dpo) I was convinced AF coming and a teensy bit of spotting ( - okay, I rummaged!) but today is 15dpo and nothing yet... Also a temp rise - well kind of. Woke at 5.30am and a temp drop. Back to sleep. At 8am a temp rise - hmmmm, which do I count? (Well obv as still holing out hope I am counting the rise!)

But did Tesco test this am and bfn. So AF will probs shows up in next hour or so - usually if not here on time I just have to post exciting MN message to make it come.

Yello - stick your head in the sand (or snow) with me

14DPO today - sore boobs, nausea (but I have a horrendous cold) plus other symptoms earlier in the 2WW.

A little bit of blood this morning - could be pre AF warning or could be implantation. I am sat in my office in PJ's and a dressing gown, sweating buckets, so don't think my temp has dropped.

AF due sometime between late afternoon and early morning I think. Am resisting testing because I prefer to see AF than a BFN, but may well test in the morning if no more signs of AF. Like you said, AF will probably pop along now I've said that

I also have stuffy nose (which I know can be a symptom but at this time of year more likely to be a cold right?)

Well I first felt this cold coming on Dec 17th - It was really bad over Christmas and now I have a couple of days when I'm almost healthy, then have to retreat to bed again - most unlike me as I usually throw these things off very quickly - perhaps my immune system is "busy"

Will pop back later - must do some work (she says reluctantly ..)

well I just did a cheapie test and got a bfn. Hmmm - bet AF shows up by eveing.

Yellow I tested early and it was a negative.. so dont give up hope... its usually the first response whicfh shows a positive 7 days in advance.

Any sign of the blob yet ladies?

I have now got it into my head that I haven't ovulated at all this cycle - my temps have been all over the place and I'm on CD 17.

Might be because our heating has been playing up over the last few days. Also might be because I am just not sleeping properly at the moment; I'm awake every hour or so and suddenly have started needing a wee 3 or 4 times a night.

But I also have in my head that the reason for my horrible cramps and fizzy nips is because the pills have worked, the shagging has worked, and we're in line for a BFP.

Crazy. It can't be so.

no af yet no - but also very dry down there and I thought if pregnant you got lots of wetness and cm. So period unlikely. I am of course going to buy a digital tonight to use in morning if my period not here by then.

No sign yet (and I've had a good rummage ) but I have a sneaking suspicion my boobs are deflating a little - still sore though...

Will let you know what happens, but am preparing myself for disappointment

15DPO here and still no AF, but I wimped out of testing . After multiple mc's, I'm terrified of it becoming real, only to bleed If I get over the fear, I will test later today. If not, I may leave it a few days.

I felt very nauseous this morning though, and my boobs are still sore.

Jools If testing will upset you too much, leave it for a few days. I totally understand how you feel, and would probably be doing and feeling the same as you.

If there is a bean and it has implanted well, nothing much is going to change. You could leave it for a while and make very sure you continue to take very good care of yourself.

All positive thoughts are directed at you and yellow.

Well woke up, temp had plummeted and ten mins later af arrived. Am gutted as was 16 dpo, temp higher than it had ever been and I was already talking to dh about when we could tell my mum and if it would be okay to tell my mum and not his (his can't keep a secret) and everything. Am v sad and upset. I know I shouldn;t have got carried away but so hard not to and this was month two after hsg so I thought maybe I'd be one of the ones with increased fertiity after it.

Got hospital appt end of month and if they don't give me clomid (weight issues) then I'm we're going to start investigating all private options.
