Hi all,

I've just checked and if it happens this time I'd actually be due early July. Please feel free to join me on this bus:

aideesmum TTC#2 UCL 30-34 CD2

Aagh spookyteafan you had me running upstairs to see how many IUs my HPTs are! Still none the wiser. Makes a difference as 10dpo and AF -4d are different days for me! I suppose I should just try and forget about it until next week...

Shmoo75 · 28/10/2009 14:48

mabh good luck with forgetting all about testing until next wk.

I have loads of HPT's they are as follows:

10IU(Internet Cheapies) = 4
25IU(Internet Cheapies) = 5
Poundshop = 2(TwinPack)
CB NonDigi = 2(TwinPack)
FirstResponse = 1
CB Digi with conception Indicator = 3

I think 17 should cover me for this cycle Might have to get a few more, not sure yet. Can you tell I am a poas addicit?

jumblequeen · 28/10/2009 15:03

I got 10 for about £3 via ebay... and they weren't even the cheapest ones on there (but the most trustworthy-looking). They were 10IU... Having said that, if they come back negative again this month, I may have to branch out!

mabh · 28/10/2009 15:04

Blimey shmoo, wouldn't you rather have 8 tests and a big pile of chocolate/magazines??!!!

My problem is that as long as I don't have a bfn, I can kid myself that it might yet happen. So I don't find it that hard not to POAS although I think my purchase of CB not Boots is a bad sign!

Still waiting for people at the front of the bus to POAS though!

SpookyTeaFan · 28/10/2009 15:06

Oops, sorry mabh!

Lol Shmoo, when I finst started to TTC I was POAS phobic, now I love it! Sometimes I POAS when I know i'm not OV or PG just because I miss it

Anyway, my resolve not to test until Saturday is weakening as I have just been reading another thread where someone got a BFP on 6DPO!!! What is the time frame for an egg implanting??

This 2ww is driving me nuts! AND I have to wait an extra hour to find out because of the clocks going back

Shmoo75 · 28/10/2009 15:23

SpookyTeaFan I think Implantation is 6DPO-10DPO.

Oh I have chocolate and mags and books too I drive myself nuts by poas far too early, I take my tests into work as a friend of mine is pg and due in Feb so, she has a good look and squint at the sensitive ones and, she curses them. The plan is for me not test until 16/11 which is when I think AF is due as, long as I get my Peaks on Mon & Tues that is.

bubbalewy · 28/10/2009 15:29

Ohh im so glad youve posted this info i was trying to find out how many days past ov a 25iu test would show up! im 12dpo now have been spotting slightly since sunday, so it should show up now right??
spooky egg implantation is from 6-12 days past ov, so they say! so it is possible but bli what a speedy egg!
I didnt jump on the bus this cycle as thought if i do something different i may get a different result :/ you never know it may work lol... But i can see your all waiting for the next testers, so i am here just waving as you drive past me at the bus stops, was going to test fri if no af i may cave in in the morning though, you know how it is girls

mabh · 28/10/2009 15:31

Right shmoo do you have one of those monitors, then? I looked them up yesterday and thought, oh I might get one of those if it's a no this month, but then found out you have to start on CD1! So this means you have to take an early test... or pass the unwanted monitor onto a friend...

mabh · 28/10/2009 15:34

..so are my Clear Blue non-digitals 25IUs then? Or feebler?

Shmoo75 · 28/10/2009 15:52

mabh yeah I have the CBFM I ordered mine from Amazon as, including a box of 20 tests cost me 70 quid where as if you bought it from Boots it would cost you 120 quid I think you set it for the first time as late as CD5 so, if you wait until CD1 to order on Amazon you will get it before CD5. If you fall 1st or 2nd cycle using wiat until you hit the magic 12wk mark then sell it ob via good ole ebay thats what I plan to do with mine. It will ask you to start poas using first morning urine on your 1st cycle using it from CD6 and will ask you to use all 20 tests. I think the CB no digi tests are 25IU quite reliable.

mabh · 28/10/2009 16:05

shmoo, you are a font of knowledge .

I'd seen that Amazon had the monitor a bit cheaper, but I didn't realise that the strips were cheaper, too. Excellent tip.

AND now I'll be working out how to resist testing with my CB tests tomorrow - probably ov'd day 15, plus 10 = 25 (tomorrow!). You lot are a bad influence .

nymphadora · 28/10/2009 16:12

That makes it sun or mon for me or can I hold out to be due thurs(ish) ? Yeah right!

SpookyTeaFan · 28/10/2009 16:16

Well i've just noticed that my CM is starting to dry up like it does before AF so am now thinking I can't be.... Maybe I won't test at all this cycle , DP will be most impressed

Shmoo75 · 28/10/2009 16:23

Nymphadora Maybe hold out until Mon then re-test on wed? Not that I am in anyway encouraging you to A spend money on tests or B test early
SpookyTeaFan Wow if I didn't test one cycle my DH would think I was seriously ill

PumpkinJollster · 28/10/2009 16:28

cd33
bfn this morning
no sign of witch
bored with this game

and feeling I might need to be surgically unattached from my seat on this bus...

SpookyTeaFan · 28/10/2009 16:50

Hi Jollster sorry you are still in limbo, any chance you OV'd late? You may be sitting at the front of the bus but you are allowed to keep your seat because you are pulling your weight a POAS regularly! Just bought some hot chocolate and EasyLiving magazine, you are more than welcome to share

lucybrad · 28/10/2009 17:18

grrrrr. POA OPK and still nothing, have no idea when i ovulated or if I ovulated. Was so confused managed to 'accidentally' poas (first response) as had ramdomly convinced myself must have been pg all along from last month, and the period i thought i had was some sort of bleed! lol. Needless to say BFN.

grrr. i have an insane lack of patience anyway so having to wait months for things is very tedious.
grrr

Pinkwine · 28/10/2009 17:35

Ooops, sorry didn't mean to post twice , something happened to the computer!!

SpookyTeaFan · 28/10/2009 18:14

lucybrad I didn't OV till day 18 this month so don't give up. Have you had any other signs of OV other than doing OPK?

pinkwine you must have the patience of a saint, obv not a control freak like me

Anyone fancy some Cherry Garcia Carte D'or while we wait for some BFPs?!?

Tea x

P.S Scratch what I said before about CM drying up

Irishfairy · 28/10/2009 18:20

Sorry everyone didn't mean to abandon you, was away all day with no internet access

Yes I have a BFP!!! Did second test this morning, was so excited bouncing around the house and grinning from ear to ear all day!

It's funny because no symptoms in the 2ww and since I've found out I've gotten lots of symptoms: cramping, really tired all day, feeling a bit sick, very hungry and headache

I am so excited and partly a bit in shock too!!!
I hope you all get your BFPs... I'm using my fairy wand to sprinkle baby dust over the entire bus

SpookyTeaFan · 28/10/2009 18:25

Congratulations Irishfairy Hopefully we'll be on a roll now!

PumpkinJollster · 28/10/2009 18:26

yay irishfairy
am very but also for you!

Stickiness galore to you!

And slainte.

EmNotPGYet · 28/10/2009 19:32

Congratulations IrishFairy!

I have been feeling quite sick this week, and tired and hungry all the time. Trouble is it's far too early to symptom-spot (day 18?). I think it's just yet another long week at work getting me down - must book some leave or something nice to look forward to.
